    I did a Mixed Interval run on the treadmill today. Ran 3.5 miles and walked one. The first 10 minutes, at the slowest paces, was the hardest. I just couldn't get going. After that, it was better. It's amazing how easy 4.5 mph feels after running a minute at 7.0 mph. :lol:

    I don't think I'll be running 40 miles tomorrow, so won't make my goal. I do hope to get up early and do 3 miles or so before leaving to play tennis and then my annual doctor's appointment. Not sure that will happen, but I can always hope.

    Thanks for your input @kgirlhart . I decided to go back to the plan for the month where I almost ran 60 miles - which was May. That is actually only the 2nd week of my HM plan. My goal is to run 61 miles in August in honor of my 61st birthday. The plan should get me beyond that, if I follow it to the tee. Than never happens, but I think I can get 61 by following it as closely as possible.

    Sounds like a great plan and a great way to celebrate turning 61!
