Good on you for not worrying about a minor blip up. If you track your trend, you're doing well, and you're at your goal for the month! Right on!

As to the bolded part, since you did enjoy it, since it was delicious, and since it was worth it, maybe you shouldn't think of it as "bad." Maybe it was a treat. Maybe it was fine, and you can have it from time to time and NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF GUILT because food isn't bad.

You’re absolutely right. No food is bad.

I only call it “bad” because of how my body reacts when I eat it. I know better than to not, but it tasted delicious and I paid for it. 😣

    July start Weight: 166.5
    July Goal Weight: 159
    2020 Goal Weight: 148

    July 1: 166.5
    July 8: 162.5
    July 15: 161
    July 22: 160
    July 29: 158.5
    July 31

    Notes:
July 29: Big work project completed. Getting back to the workout schedule. Food-wise, there were some days I felt full and satiated, and was still under my calorie goals. And then other days when I felt near constant need to munch and consume something. Also, need to find better better balance in all areas of my life moving forward.

July 22: Big work project is still taking priority in my life, resulting in a very sedentary day-to-day plus slight relaxing of food intake. However, I do think I'm getting a better feel for my daily calorie and nutrition needs.

July 15: Man, it's mid-July already! This past week, the biggest change has been my exercise routine being readily sacrificed as a big work project has taken over. Hopefully, this is just a temporary pause, and I will get back to the routine when the project is over. However, I realize that one of my fears is that these good habits and routines will be easily abandoned when I eventually go back to a "normal" work and social life.

July 8: I have been having suspicions that my scale is not accurate. This morning I got 3 different readings within one hour during weigh-in. Hm. However, this past week, I primarily focused on eating back most of my exercise calories. Physical activity has been about the same, although maybe a bit more biking during the holiday weekend. That said, I still feel some bouts of fatigue, both physical and mental. Maybe time for a diet break next week?

July 1: After being quite pleased with last month's results, I'm back for the July challenge! I want to keep the focus, hard work and consistency going. An added motivation: I may be going back to the office in early August, so I want to show up to work all glowed up.

What an awful thing. I hope you have lots of cherished memories. I lost my best buddy last year; nobody ever thought his sister would outlive him. She's not doing that well either, but she has good days most of the time.

What is one of your favorite things that Reeces used to do or that you thought was silly?

My name is Donna and I am 60 years old. I am from the Midwest USA. 5’ 5
I will be keeping the Thursday weigh-in (in addition to the 1st and last day of the month for the full tally)
    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

July start Weight: 207.9 (Weight on June 30, 2020)
July Goal Weight: 201.9 (6 lb loss)

    July 01 : 207.9
    July 08: 208.4
July 15: 209.6 I am gaining a pound a week, it seems. Will it be 210 next week or can I reverse this crazy pattern?
July 22: 210.1 , yes I hit the 210, just as I worried I would. Gotta reverse this trend!
July 29: 208.1 The loss of my beloved cat Reeces has caused this weight loss, not something full of strength that I have done. A very sad time in my life right now.
    July 31: xxxxx

    Total Weight Loss for July:

    Final Challenge Thoughts:

Many hugs, we understand totally as we lost our beloved Tigs one year ago next month. Thinking and praying for you🤗🙏🌺

    Notes:
July 31: *Okay, there is definitely something funky going on with my scale, and I'm very skeptical of the final weigh-in number. I'm cheap and don't want to purchase a new scale (I have new clothes to buy, dammit), so I'll just say that I broke into the 150s this month. That alone seems incomprehensible but feels really good!
