@izzyred9400 I got your steps for today, the first day for Sept's month, but what's your daily goal for the month please? We always reset those and take new sign ups for step team...it doesn't carry over like the weight chart each month. Let me know.

    Hi Jessica,
I know the last couple of weeks have been a bit hit & miss, but I think I will up it to 12,000 steps for September.
Can you change Habit Tracker goals or are they supposed to be the same as last month ? Thanks.

@izzyred9400 I got you down for 12k per day for Sept. I can't change the Habit Tracker, but you can personalize your own...I think that's how they set it up...so that as your habits change, you can work on others...it was a pretty cool idea!

AUGUST WALKERS...Week 4 ended with Saturday, Aug 29, so please send your step counts to finish out week 4 by end of day on Monday so I can close out and report weekly and overall winners for the month.

This month has been a tough one in getting people to report. I would REALLY appreciate it that if you sign up, make sure to report every few days.

    Thanks for understanding.

Welcome to all the newbies! If anything I enjoy most; is the steps challenge as it challenges you to keep moving.
@jessicakrall8 September already looking very busy and I must confess now that getting in those steps will be a big challenge therefore I will like to set my steps to 10,000

Are there any other members in this group trying the “fasting” approach?

I have been doing intermittent fasting for years (off and on) It comes natural to me, so I eat from 12pm to 8pm

Hey there @nfll406 !! Welcome again...please go back and read my welcome letter at the beginning of this page and it will help fill in some of the blanks hopefully...if you have questions, ask away!

I do intermittent fasting and try to eat between 11 and 7 each day, so you could say the fasting portion is about 16 hours, give or take...sometimes I miss it by a half hour depending on how I'm feeling in the morning.

I do better with only two meals a day and try to limit the snacking.

    Enjoy your day!
    Jessica

First week back at the school done, on to the second. Its so odd because although we are doing in person classes and are a school of almost 1400 students, It is practically empty. My office is in the middle school, and students in the middle and high school only come one day a week and its either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, then k-5 come everyday, but half in the morning and half in the afternoon. So we only have 300-500 students on campus at a time on a campus built for 1700. It would be nice though to get caught up on some beggining of the year work, but for some reason the IT office unhooked the server and it is still not back up, and EVERYTHING I need is on there, Im losing my mind. I cant even fathom why they took that out. Hopefully they will have it back up really soon, I have told them a number of times how important that is, so we will see.

@jessicakrall8 and @angmarie28 did you have an initial adjustment phase when you first started intermittent fasting?
I tried for a few days and felt light headed without breakfast. So gave up. But I do want to try the right way.
