    Day 69: Sun, 8/16: 166 (Ouch, that is scary looking, but I'm not going to let it get to me. Today is my last day with my daughter and tomorrow is a new day, plus TOM is next week as well. I've still been active, but haven't been able to do my strength training. All back to normal tomorrow. We are having a great time together and that's more important to me than numbers right now!)
    Day 70: Mon, 8/17: 166.6 (Weigh-In Day) (+3.8 since last week) - (As awful as this looks, I'm not letting this get to me. I just dropped my daughter off at the airport and we had a wonderful time together! Today I will be back to my regular schedule and will work hard to get this off. I know what I need to do. Also this week is TOM so we'll see what happens!)
    Day 71: Tues, 8/18: 165.6 (Back on track with my workouts and eating schedule. Strength training yesterday was tough though.)

    Day 85: Tues, 9/1: 161.2 (I'm a bit off this week for some reason. I'm trying so hard to get at least 7 hours of sleep, but I only get 5-6. That's probably my biggest struggle. I need my body to fully rest, so I can keep going. I woke up with a cramp in my calf, so I didn't want to get up to work out, so I gotta try after work.
    Day 86: Wed, 9/2: 161.2 (sorta back on track today with my morning workout. I just wish I could sleep more than 6 hours!)
    Day 87: Thurs, 9/3: 161 (Just came back from a 3 mile trail walk with my doggy. It was great!)
    Day 88: Fri, 9/4: 161 (Admittedly this week I haven't been 100% following my macros, but I am still under my calorie goals. But I feel so much better sticking to my macros, so gotta get back to it!)

    It can take me 2 weeks to get off the weight gained with one restaurant meal. For sure not weight loss friendly.

    I like to weigh every day to keep me accountable - knowing that I will be weighing in the morning sometimes stops me from continuing to eat at night : - )
    My name is Dawn. 59 year old female. I was 5'3" but think that I am 5'2" now. Broca Index says that I should be 112.8 pounds.

    My first round of this was #3, the one starting November 22 ending February 29 - Start weight 158.1 EW 154.4 Total loss over 100 days: 3.7 pounds
    This last one, #4:
    Day 1 March 01 - 154.4
    Day 100 June 08 - 151.7
    Total: 2.7 pounds lost in 100 days. Argh, all of that hard work for such a piddly result.
    200 days = 6.4 - So hopefully at least 10 pounds per year. This will take forever!!
    I like to see a monthly total usually, but will try this weekly idea. More accountability : - )
    I am going to keep track of my leftover calories this time, based on 1200 calories consumed per day.

    Day 4: Fri, 6/12 - 153.4 - Had a cheat meal (Asian Sesame Ribs) last night and it was delicious. I try to have Ribs only once per month or less because of the weight gain. I must have drank 2 litres of water or more afterwards because they were salty, that adds to the high weight this morning. I don't expect my weight to be so high tomorrow, I will keep my calories low today. 910 calories left over
    Day 5: Sat, 6/13: 153.2 - Well, it comes off much slower than it goes on as we know! In the green always even if small, but to lose I need at least 500 calories per day in the green. 104 Calories left over

    1st Week Goal Weight: 150.2
    1st Week Actual Weight: 153.2 - Gain of 2 pounds in 5 days. Hoping for a woosh to start the next one.

    Day 9: Wed, 6/17: - 150.2 - Burned lots of calories yesterday, struggled to get enough calories in for a change. Jello and cookies was my silly solution. 800 calories left over

    Day 18: Fri, 6/26: 150.1 - Good. Still a slight chance at hitting the weekly goal weight, but that is 1/2 a pound which normally takes me 2 weeks to lose. We'll see tomorrow. 1531 calories left over
    Day 19: Sat, 6/27: 150.0 - I am happy with this, super ready to get into the 140s - and stay there, I have touched them twice. 1676 calories left over

    Excess calories burned, Green showing in the tracker as left over: 7439 calories left over, which should equal 2+ pounds, but only in reality netted me a 0.6 pound loss. Very cruel, I am working very hard at this.

    Day 20: Sun, 6/28: - 149.3 - Tending not to believe this number, I mean, I like it, but I slept in today so got a lower number than I probably would have. Still great to touch this number for the first time! 875 calories left over.
    Day 21: Mon, 6/29: - 148.7 - New low! Maybe all of those excess calories burned are now showing up. Hoping that this is not just a fluctuation : - ) 1503 Calories left over
    Day 22: Tues, 6/30: - 148.1 - Last weeks excess calorie burn must be kicking in to this slow old metabolism! 714 calories left over

    Excess calories burned in June: 25,437, but this includes the entire month and we started this round on the 6th. 7.267 pounds mathematically that I should have lost for the entire month. (3500 calories equals a pound)
    The number not counting the 1st to the 5th is 21,658. 6.188 pounds mathematically I should have lost in 24 days.
    Weight Loss in June - 3.1 pounds - so much better than my usual 1 pound loss per month.

    Day 23: Wed, 7/1: 148.4 - 1053 calories left over
    Day 24: Thurs, 7/2: 149.4 - I didn't do anything to gain a pound in a day. Hoping that it is just a fluctuation. I never want to visit the 150s again, I was there for a long time.

    Day 29: Tues, 7/7: 149.1 - Major calorie burn yesterday, including lots of Zumba and yardwork, burned off more than I ate for the second day in a row. Hoping for a drop soon. 658 calories left over.

    Day 31: Thurs, 7/9: 148.4 - Very surprised at this, I worked extremely late and didn't get lunch/dinner until 10:30 at night. Sleeping in always gives me a good number. 785 calories left over
    Day 32: Fri, 7/10: 148.7 - I was so late in from work last night that I didn't finish lunch/dinner until 11:30!! Too late to be eating. Maybe it really does boil down to calories in calories out no matter what time of day that happens? I definitely get better results on the scale if I am 12 hours in between my last mouthful and weighing the next day. Working from home today instead of out in the field, so it should be better. 472 cal left over

    Day 36: Tues, 7/14: 148.7 - Weighing daily drives accountability, but there is also that fluctuation thing to deal with which can be a bit hurtful at times. I feel normalized today. 545 calories left over
    Day 37: Wed, 7/15: 148.4 - Still adjusting to going back to work, I don't eat or exercise like I was. 832 calories left over

    Day 42: Mon, 7/20: 149.8 - There is the rest of the gain from the weekend. I cut right back starting yesterday, but the gain took a couple of days to show, and the loss won't happen overnight either. 281 calories left over
    Day 43: Tues, 7/21: 147.4 - Lowest ever! Very happy to see this number. 650 calories left over
    Day 44: Wed, 7/22: 147.0 - Happily surprised, almost didn't believe the low number, hoping that it is not a fluke. Tracking, measuring portions, working out...keeping it the same. 738 calories left over
    Day 45: Thurs, 7/23: 146.1 - So are all of those excess calories burned month after month just now catching up? I haven't changed anything at all. Maybe this heatwave is sweating the fat off of me. 30 calories left over

    Day 52: Thurs, 7/30: 144.5 - Almost unbelievable. Another case of going back to bed for 2 hours. Back in February I was ice skating every day and had 27,000 calories burned in excess, yet still only lost 1 pound instead of 7.71lbs. Maybe it is finally all kicking in with my old slow metabolism? Who knows. I will take it. The weekend will be a challenge, many bbqs and cocktails planned, so going into it with a bit of a buffer will be great. Feeling firmly into the 140s now, need to keep it there...until I can get into the 130s of course. 433 excess calories burned

    I like to weigh every day to keep me accountable - knowing that I will be weighing in the morning sometimes stops me from continuing to eat at night : - )

    My first round of this was #3, the one starting November 22 ending February 29 - Start weight 158.1 EW 154.4 Total loss over 100 days: 3.7 pounds
    This last one, #4:

    Total: 2.7 pounds lost in 100 days. Argh, all of that hard work for such a piddly result.
    200 days = 6.4 - So hopefully at least 10 pounds per year. This will take forever!!

    Day 4: Fri, 6/12 - 153.4 - Had a cheat meal (Asian Sesame Ribs) last night and it was delicious. I try to have Ribs only once per month or less because of the weight gain. I must have drank 2 litres of water or more afterwards because they were salty, that adds to the high weight this morning. I don't expect my weight to be so high tomorrow, I will keep my calories low today. 910 calories left over
    Day 5: Sat, 6/13: 153.2 - Well, it comes off much slower than it goes on as we know! In the green always even if small, but to lose I need at least 500 calories per day in the green. 104 Calories left over

    1st Week Actual Weight: 153.2 - Gain of 2 pounds in 5 days. Hoping for a woosh to start the next one.

    Day 11: Fri, 6/19: - 150.3 - Hmm, small gain, not sure why. Going to try to delay my cheat day (Rib Eye) since there is only one more weigh in for this week. It is in the freezer, I will have it another day. 176 calories left over

    Day 17: Thurs, 6/25: 150.7 - Peed like 40 times yesterday, guessing that it was trapped water? I had been working out in the hot sun every day since Monday, and yesterday it rained. Perhaps my body was holding on to the water because of the heat? 744 calories left over in the tracker.
    Day 18: Fri, 6/26: 150.1 - Good. Still a slight chance at hitting the weekly goal weight, but that is 1/2 a pound which normally takes me 2 weeks to lose. We'll see tomorrow. 1531 calories left over
    Day 19: Sat, 6/27: 150.0 - I am happy with this, super ready to get into the 140s - and stay there, I have touched them twice. 1676 calories left over

    Excess calories burned, Green showing in the tracker as left over: 7439 calories left over, which should equal 2+ pounds, but only in reality netted me a 0.6 pound loss. Very cruel, I am working very hard at this.

    Day 20: Sun, 6/28: - 149.3 - Tending not to believe this number, I mean, I like it, but I slept in today so got a lower number than I probably would have. Still great to touch this number for the first time! 875 calories left over.
    Day 21: Mon, 6/29: - 148.7 - New low! Maybe all of those excess calories burned are now showing up. Hoping that this is not just a fluctuation : - ) 1503 Calories left over
    Day 22: Tues, 6/30: - 148.1 - Last weeks excess calorie burn must be kicking in to this slow old metabolism! 714 calories left over

    Excess calories burned in June: 25,437, but this includes the entire month and we started this round on the 6th. 7.267 pounds mathematically that I should have lost for the entire month. (3500 calories equals a pound)
    The number not counting the 1st to the 5th is 21,658. 6.188 pounds mathematically I should have lost in 24 days.
    Weight Loss in June - 3.1 pounds - so much better than my usual 1 pound loss per month.

    Day 23: Wed, 7/1: 148.4 - 1053 calories left over
    Day 24: Thurs, 7/2: 149.4 - I didn't do anything to gain a pound in a day. Hoping that it is just a fluctuation. I never want to visit the 150s again, I was there for a long time.

    Day 29: Tues, 7/7: 149.1 - Major calorie burn yesterday, including lots of Zumba and yardwork, burned off more than I ate for the second day in a row. Hoping for a drop soon. 658 calories left over.

    Day 31: Thurs, 7/9: 148.4 - Very surprised at this, I worked extremely late and didn't get lunch/dinner until 10:30 at night. Sleeping in always gives me a good number. 785 calories left over
    Day 32: Fri, 7/10: 148.7 - I was so late in from work last night that I didn't finish lunch/dinner until 11:30!! Too late to be eating. Maybe it really does boil down to calories in calories out no matter what time of day that happens?     Day 44: Wed, 7/22: 147.0 - Happily surprised, almost didn't believe the low number, hoping that it is not a fluke. Tracking, measuring portions, working out...keeping it the same. 738 calories left over

    Day 52: Thurs, 7/30: 144.5 - Almost unbelievable. Another case of going back to bed for 2 hours. Back in February I was ice skating every day and had 27,000 calories burned in excess, yet still only lost 1 pound instead of 7.71lbs. Maybe it is finally all kicking in with my old slow metabolism? Who knows. I will take it. The weekend will be a challenge, many bbqs and cocktails planned, so going into it with a bit of a buffer will be great.     Day 39 – 07 /17 …..210.0…..Dizzy with stress all day. I don’t mean the normal stresses we all must endure on the daily. This is the bad stuff but I am coping. Diet was off today pretty bad but I actually got in more deliberate movement. Changing what I can when I can, that is the best any of us can hope for. Tonight I am going to go for some “me” time.

    Day 51 – 07/29 …..208.1….. She was put down at 3:30. Obviously couldn’t eat yesterday. They say time heals all wounds and I know it will get better. I’ve been down this road before. Right now, however, it feels like it will never get any easier.
    Day 52 – 07/30…..209.2….. Thanks ladies for you comforting words. I am going to try to focus more on my quality of eating in the coming days. My quantities are okay, it’s the choices I am making. Goal: To get back on track asap although there is still so much going on in my life that I cannot control right now. The coming months will continue to be dreadful but I will do what I can, when I can. Every choices counts.

Stuck to some lean cuisine at midnight. Low calorie but was like having a second dinner. My bigger fatter me is not like the smaller quantities I was eating before. I’ve got to re-train on portion control.

Phones galore and someone always at the desk interrupting everything from exercise, to meals, even potty. I’m a one-man show since my hubby passed away. We shall see how today goes.
    Day 83 –08 /30 …..210.9…… Yesterday went well with the diet although still no time for zumba. Too tired to do it late at night last night. Hopefully soon! Scale down due to a strict diet yesterday. However, emergency travel today for a tv replacement for son. Over 5 hours total just in driving time. Ate at Applebee’s. I ordered the grilled lime chicken but I expect a jump on the scale due to the rice, even though I didn’t finish the rice. Carbs are my enemy.
    Day 84 – 08/31 …..211.1…… The after travel weight gain a bit less than I expected so I am okay with this. Picnic today but I will pack healthy stuff and fit in a short hike along the river as long as the plans aren’t cancelled.

    Day 85 –09/01 …..211.6…… Well there is the expected bump from after travel x2 this week. Because I have not been watching carbs like I should, that it actually a small gain. When deep into the carb counting, one travel day can cost me 3-5 pounds so I am actually pleased with this number. But it’s in the wrong direction, so I’ve got to get back on track!

I must have drank 2 litres of water or more afterwards because they were salty, that adds to the high weight this morning. I don't expect my weight to be so high tomorrow, I will keep my calories low today. 910 calories left over
    Day 5: Sat, 6/13: 153.2 - Well, it comes off much slower than it goes on as we know! In the green always even if small, but to lose I need at least 500 calories per day in the green. 104 Calories left over

I've still been active, but haven't been able to do my strength training. All back to normal tomorrow. We are having a great time together and that's more important to me than numbers right now!)

I need my body to fully rest, so I can keep going. I woke up with a cramp in my calf, so I didn't want to get up to work out, so I gotta try after work.
    Day 86: Wed, 9/2: 161.2 (sorta back on track today with my morning workout. I just wish I could sleep more than 6 hours!)
    Day 87: Thurs, 9/3: 161 (Just came back from a 3 mile trail walk with my doggy. It was great!)
    Day 88: Fri, 9/4: 161 (Admittedly this week I haven't been 100% following my macros, but I am still under my calorie goals. But I feel so much better sticking to my macros, so gotta get back to it!)

    Day 39 – 07 /17 …..210.0…..Dizzy with stress all day. I don’t mean the normal stresses we all must endure on the daily. This is the bad stuff but I am coping. Diet was off today pretty bad but I actually got in more deliberate movement. Changing what I can when I can, that is the best any of us can hope for. Tonight I am going to go for some “me” time.

    Day 51 – 07/29 …..208.1….. She was put down at 3:30. Obviously couldn’t eat yesterday. They say time heals all wounds and I know it will get better. I’ve been down this road before. Right now, however, it feels like it will never get any easier.
    Day 52 – 07/30…..209.2….. Thanks ladies for you comforting words. I am going to try to focus more on my quality of eating in the coming days. My quantities are okay, it’s the choices I am making. Goal: To get back on track asap although there is still so much going on in my life that I cannot control right now. The coming months will continue to be dreadful but I will do what I can, when I can. Every choices counts.

I’ve got to re-train on portion control.

Phones galore and someone always at the desk interrupting everything from exercise, to meals, even potty. I’m a one-man show since my hubby passed away. We shall see how today goes.
    Day 83 –08 /30 …..210.9…… Yesterday went well with the diet although still no time for zumba. Too tired to do it late at night last night. Hopefully soon! Scale down due to a strict diet yesterday. However, emergency travel today for a tv replacement for son. Over 5 hours total just in driving time. Ate at Applebee’s. I ordered the grilled lime chicken but I expect a jump on the scale due to the rice, even though I didn’t finish the rice. Carbs are my enemy.
    Day 84 – 08/31 …..211.1…… The after travel weight gain a bit less than I expected so I am okay with this. Picnic today but I will pack healthy stuff and fit in a short hike along the river as long as the plans aren’t cancelled.

    Day 85 –09/01 …..211.6…… Well there is the expected bump from after travel x2 this week. Because I have not been watching carbs like I should, that it actually a small gain. When deep into the carb counting, one travel day can cost me 3-5 pounds so I am actually pleased with this number. But it’s in the wrong direction, so I’ve got to get back on track!
    Day 86 – 09/02 …..211.6…… At this point, I am just focusing at getting this under my challenge starting weight. Gaining per 100 days is not an option!

I have a heavy schedule which includes 3 hair appointments for son & 2 DGS' which always include a restaurant meal out, but I plan on sustaining and eating my dinner at home in a more controlled atmosphere. I don't need restaurant food two days in a row or the water retention that comes with it!

    My name is Dawn. 59 year old female. I was 5'3" but think that I am 5'2" now. Broca Index says that I should be 112.8 pounds.

    My first round of this was #3, the one starting November 22 ending February 29 - Start weight 158.1 EW 154.4 Total loss over 100 days: 3.7 pounds
    This last one, #4:
    Day 1 March 01 - 154.4
    Day 100 June 08 - 151.7
    Total: 2.7 pounds lost in 100 days. Argh, all of that hard work for such a piddly result.
    200 days = 6.4 - So hopefully at least 10 pounds per year. This will take forever!!
    I like to see a monthly total usually, but will try this weekly idea. More accountability : - )
    I am going to keep track of my leftover calories this time, based on 1200 calories consumed per day.

    Day 4: Fri, 6/12 - 153.4 - Had a cheat meal (Asian Sesame Ribs) last night and it was delicious. I try to have Ribs only once per month or less because of the weight gain. I must have drank 2 litres of water or more afterwards because they were salty, that adds to the high weight this morning. I don't expect my weight to be so high tomorrow, I will keep my calories low today. 910 calories left over
    Day 5: Sat, 6/13: 153.2 - Well, it comes off much slower than it goes on as we know! In the green always even if small, but to lose I need at least 500 calories per day in the green. 104 Calories left over

    1st Week Goal Weight: 150.2
    1st Week Actual Weight: 153.2 - Gain of 2 pounds in 5 days. Hoping for a woosh to start the next one.
    Excess calories burned: 2913 - Not enough to burn a pound, but still more than enough to not gain 2 pounds!


    Day 6: Sun, 6/14 - 152.9 - This was my first full workout in a few days since I dropped a piece of concrete on my toes. 776 leftover in the tracker (Green).
    Day 7: Mon, 6/15 - 150.9 - Good, now to get back to that 149.9. 846 excess calories left over.
    Day 8: Tues, 6/16 - 151.0 - Below day 1 slightly, so that is good, but really working for some progress this week. 1354 left over in the tracker.
    Day 9: Wed, 6/17: - 150.2 - Burned lots of calories yesterday, struggled to get enough calories in for a change. Jello and cookies was my silly solution. 800 calories left over
    Day 10: Thurs, 6/18 - 150.2 - Hope to see a small drop tomorrow morning. 773 left over in the tracker (green)
    Day 11: Fri, 6/19: - 150.3 - Hmm, small gain, not sure why. Going to try to delay my cheat day (Rib Eye) since there is only one more weigh in for this week. It is in the freezer, I will have it another day. 176 calories left over
    Day 12: Sat, 6/20: - 150.6 - I had a Samosa and a Chimichanga last night. 571 left over in the tracker

    2nd Week Goal Weight: 149.9 - I know that this sounds ambitious, but my average (even with the high days) was 151.5

    Day 15: Tues, 6/23: 151.6 - Super frustrated. I work so hard at this! 608 calories left in the tracker
    Day 16: Wed, 6/24: - 151.6 - I don't get it, right on point. Still above day 1!! 909 calories left over in the tracker (green)
    Day 17: Thurs, 6/25: 150.7 - Peed like 40 times yesterday, guessing that it was trapped water? I had been working out in the hot sun every day since Monday, and yesterday it rained. Perhaps my body was holding on to the water because of the heat? 744 calories left over in the tracker.
    Day 18: Fri, 6/26: 150.1 - Good. Still a slight chance at hitting the weekly goal weight, but that is 1/2 a pound which normally takes me 2 weeks to lose. We'll see tomorrow. 1531 calories left over
    Day 19: Sat, 6/27: 150.0 - I am happy with this, super ready to get into the 140s - and stay there, I have touched them twice. 1676 calories left over

    Excess calories burned, Green showing in the tracker as left over: 7439 calories left over, which should equal 2+ pounds, but only in reality netted me a 0.6 pound loss. Very cruel, I am working very hard at this.

    Day 20: Sun, 6/28: - 149.3 - Tending not to believe this number, I mean, I like it, but I slept in today so got a lower number than I probably would have. Still great to touch this number for the first time! 875 calories left over.
    Day 21: Mon, 6/29: - 148.7 - New low! Maybe all of those excess calories burned are now showing up. Hoping that this is not just a fluctuation : - ) 1503 Calories left over
    Day 22: Tues, 6/30: - 148.1 - Last weeks excess calorie burn must be kicking in to this slow old metabolism! 714 calories left over

    Excess calories burned in June: 25,437, but this includes the entire month and we started this round on the 6th. 7.267 pounds mathematically that I should have lost for the entire month. (3500 calories equals a pound)
    The number not counting the 1st to the 5th is 21,658. 6.188 pounds mathematically I should have lost in 24 days.
    Weight Loss in June - 3.1 pounds - so much better than my usual 1 pound loss per month.

    Day 23: Wed, 7/1: 148.4 - 1053 calories left over
    Day 24: Thurs, 7/2: 149.4 - I didn't do anything to gain a pound in a day. Hoping that it is just a fluctuation. I never want to visit the 150s again, I was there for a long time.
    Day 25: Fri, 7/3: 149.2. I'll take it. Day off today, so lots of extra workouts here and there, healthy food. 1171 excess calories burned

    Day 28: Mon, 7/6: 149.3 - Could have been worse from Saturday, mitigated it. Another one of my jobs has lifted lay-off, so my time for working out will not be as much soon, I will try to keep it up though. 1598 calories left over
    Day 29: Tues, 7/7: 149.1 - Major calorie burn yesterday, including lots of Zumba and yardwork, burned off more than I ate for the second day in a row. Hoping for a drop soon. 658 calories left over.
    Day 30: Wed, 7/8: 149.4 - High calorie burn days will be over for me now except for weekends now that I am back to work. 322 calories left over.
    Day 31: Thurs, 7/9: 148.4 - Very surprised at this, I worked extremely late and didn't get lunch/dinner until 10:30 at night. Sleeping in always gives me a good number. 785 calories left over

Back in February I was ice skating every day and had 27,000 calories burned in excess, yet still only lost 1 pound instead of 7.71lbs. Maybe it is finally all kicking in with my old slow metabolism? Who knows. I will take it. The weekend will be a challenge, many bbqs and cocktails planned, so going into it with a bit of a buffer will be great.
