Round 126
Please join us! Starting on 09/14/JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 126
Anyone can join us at anytime during the round.
Join us! If we stay mindful we can do this, you can do this.
Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!
Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.
FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

Good day. Made it to my zoom strength training class. Our internet has been super slow the past few days which has made working from home hard, but the zoom class went ok.
My weight has been decreasing unrealistically rapidly for the last few days. I am waiting for the slowdown.

Day/Weight/Comment
09/14 - 73.8 - Because of course it jumps up to what it was a week ago. This is why I'm glad I weigh every day, because it would look like I've not lost anything this last week, but I know that this is just a fluctuation up. And I know why too. Yesterday was a maintenance day. I knew it was going to be a maintenance day. I banked calories for it to be a maintenance day. It still feels wrong to allow my numbers go into the red. Ah well. Cider at lunch (first time I've drunk alcohol for ages, damn it was good), went out for lunch (nice burger and chips), lots of cheese for dinner and topped it off with a big chocolate cookie. CI was slightly above CO so not quite a true maintenance day, but considering my deficit for the week, I'm still pretty happy with it all and all. And I didn't eat all of my lunch because it was there. When I was full, I stopped nibbling at the chips and left them.
09/15 - 74.0 - Now you can just stop it. My legs are killing me. Judo yesterday killed me. My legs were still kind of hurting going into the session left over from Saturday, and then what did we do during the circuits? More flipping frog jumps. Aaaaah! It's fine, I don't need to use my legs! And I think I've pulled my hamstring because I am so close to getting left side splits flat to the floor (something I've not been able to do since I was a about 10), so I pushed it a little too much trying to get there, I did make it though, but only for a second, and it hurt so maybe a little bit longer on that one. So yeah, fluid retention is strong today. Hopefully we'll see a drop tomorrow back to something a little more sensible.

09/15: 129.2...yesterday I put all my calories into the mfp and was trying so hard to stick to them but at the end of the night, I was so hungry and nauseous I ate a bigger later snack. Need to try harder today to stick to what I input in my calorie diary but at least my last snack was healthy plain oatmeal. I didnโt eat any junk yesterday but I still feel I eat too much healthy food I guess.

Happy that the drop from yesterday has held so far. I spent the weekend dealing with some of the responsibilities on my plate, so that has helped my stress levels a bit.

I have moved to an IF 16:8 model, as I am finding if I have an early breakfast, then I am more hungry throughout the day. Still keeping it low carb as well, which really helps prevent snacking.

OK Ready to try again
I got way off track last round, Trying not to be an emotional eater, I found myself craving a drink at the end of the day. I have never been much of a drinker. I could count on my fingers how many drinks I have in a year, so this was alarming. So I had a snack instead and within a couple of days all my old bad eating habits were back. I don't have a solution right now - but I have to keep trying. I have special needs adults in my family who depend on me to be there for them 24/7. I need my health.

44, 6' trying to maintain at 150. Have to track here for accountability. More water, more low/0 calorie snacks when starving.
9/14 155.6 It's been a gradual up from my low of 150 in early June. Need to make getting back down to 150 more of a priority. I've been super active so that's not the problem. Tough 12 mile hike up to Mt Le Conte this weekend and riding quite a bit. It's adjusting to the smaller portions and getting comfortable with feeling hungry more.
9/15 156.2 I had a really rough day yesterday. Kids home schooling day was HARD. I comforted myself by eating. I felt bad. I'm paying for it today rightfully. I will try to remind myself of this and this feeling when I'm struggling again.9 -

9/15 and getting stronger. Love this challenge....I start my day with weighing (use a Withings and heart rate monitor to track). For four months - a day at a time- I have not deviated from my lifestyle plan (spiritual, mental, and physical). Last month I lost nine pounds, but for the last two weeks (with a continuing 900+ calorie deficit daily and no eating back my exercise calories) I've continued to hover at 195. The science says this is not possible, so I've reviewed the charts and reflected on daily goals. I've kept my fat at 10% and continued with the deficit I'm trusting the process. The good news is my muscle gain is gently rising as my fat is slowly descending on the chart. I'm also seeing more strength and energy during my workouts. Yesterday, I had the best workout in the last four months of this journey. I'm welcoming this challenge as a new strategy to confirm that I will meet my goal of being out of the 190s by the end of the month. Best wishes to each of us....by staying in the moment making consistent daily positive choices towards health (on all levels) we will reach of goals! Thank you @Lilylady3k for this opportunity!
