@TiffanyPe17 - Girls are fun, I have two myself. They are all grown now and one has given me a grandson and granddaughter.

    @TerriRichardson112 - That's a good habit to be in.

Tonight my Grandson is coming for a sleepover, he wants something for supper that he can help make like homemade subs or homemade pizza. I'll have to figure this out for him.

I have a busy day at work today, but then it's the weekend!

@Snowflake1968 MapMyWalk (or Run, if so inclined) has had a yearly distance challenge since I've become an active user, so for at least three years. Any open challenge is listed in the Challenge section on the app, or under the Community drop-down on the website. Anyone can join at any time, and if you were using the app before you joined a challenge, that activity counts towards the challenge.

Yesterday I received email that first of two 5Ks in Oct. I'm registered for is switching to virtual. I was supposed to participate in that on my 63rd birthday. Now we have one week to complete and log our finish online. Not surprising, given current situation in my state, but a little disappointed. Sad me. Dog will still get her walk. Wondering when I'll hear about second 5K in Oct. scheduled for one week later.

This morning was damp from yesterday's rain & very humid feeling early. Decided to take my rest day, since I've walked 20.7 miles with dog in five straight days. Back to the yearly challenge & virtual 5K this weekend.

    2020 Goals:
    1) Get weight below 160# (last time was 4/20/19)
    2) Plan meals most days & prelog meals/snacks whenever possible on MFP
    3) Post weekly weigh-in on JFT for accountability
    4) Take measurements & log on MFP monthly (I stopped as weight plateaued & went up) = 2.1.20 / 2.29.20 / 4.1.20 (forgot 3.31.20) / 5.1.20 (forgot 4.30.20) / 6.3.20 (forgot at ME again)
    5) Exercise 5-6x per week (minimum 4x) ~ mostly walking but include weights/circuit & other x-training
    6) Participate in race events ~ have planned 7 5Ks and 2 10Ks at minimum = Frenzy on the Fox 5K 49:36 ave. pace 15:29 / Seroogy's Valentine 5K 46:26.7 ave. pace 14:47 / Badger State Brewing 10K virtual race w/ dog on 4/2/20 1:44:16 ave. pace 16:33 / Prevention virtual 5K Fun & Fit Team on 5/2/20 I walked 3.48 mi w/ dog in 1:01:10 ave. pace 17:33 / RonaRunOff 5/16/20 virtual walk 5.08 miles with dog in 1:23:15 ave. pace 16:23 / 100 Miles Challenge fundraiser (per fitness tracker) & completed 5/18/20 / Bellin Run 10K virtual race w/ dog on 6/6/20 1:41:03 ave. pace 16:14 dog definitely slows my "race pace" / Hope Isn't Canceled virtual 10K w/ dog 8/29/20 1:43:10 ave. pace 16:36
    7) Be considerate and loving to hubby and have fun together
    8) Make efforts to keep in touch with parents, siblings and friends (most live in other towns or states)
    9) Declutter home office, bedroom and basement = basement (boxes) Jan. / home office desk (some) & more basement boxes Feb. / basement boxes & home office (some more) Mar. / decluttered/cleaned in bedroom & more basement boxes Apr. / basement boxes May ~ very pleased w/ my progress / reorg in basement June & July
    Word for 2020: Persist

@TiffanyPe17 - 2 week old baby, congratulations! Boy or Girl?

Thank you! We had our second little girl, and I have to admit that I am absolutely in love with her ❤️❤️

I love babies 🙂 i have 3 girls myself! Although mine are 6, 4 and 2. Although all the ladies on here were on my last pregnancy journey with me, so Casey gets a lot of mentions lol!

I cant believe you're doing 2 mile walks only 2 weeks later! Thats amazing!

I was still recovering taking lots of painkillers 2 weeks after mine!
How.old is your eldest daughter? X

Awe I love being a girl mom 😊 we were hoping for a boy but decided that two is enough for us and I’ve never been happier. My oldest is 16 months, so we had them pretty much back-to-back. I never lost the weight I gained from my oldest, so I went into this pregnancy already overweight. I am so glad I am starting to see some of that weight finally come off. I had c-sections with both of my girls, but I feel like I was down a lot longer with my first than I have been with this one. I’m not sure why, but I feel so much better this time around.

Hold up, WHAT?! You had sections and are walking?! You're a much stronger woman than me. Mine weren't sectuons and I was like dying haha!

Awhh I really REALLY want a boy. My 3rd attempt ended in another girl lol!
I would get pregnant again if I could guarantee a boy but there are no guarantees unfortunately.

Unless I had a lot of money for IVF and went to a country where its legal to choose sex lol! Dont see that ever happening though hahaha

Haha thanks! They had me walking in the hospital and it really helped me to start feeling better. I’m actually surprised that I’m not in any pain at this point! I did notice some back pain on my walk today though, so I took it easy.

We are right there with you on the boy front! If we could have guaranteed a boy we would have gone for a third, but since we couldn’t we decided to call it quits. Luckily my husband has a name that could be considered an’girl’ name, lol, so we were able to name her after him, which made him super proud. It’s so cute to hear him call her name and hold her 🥰🥰.

Well, I think you're doing amazingly :) and how cute about the name!
2 of mine have unisex names, but not names after either me or my partner. We have traditional names and my kids just have non-traditional names. I liked the unusual, but not going too far haha

      That could have gone better

For Friday keep the long term, my “why” in mind when faced with choices. Self discipline. Nope

1900 calories: 2857, so many things off track
Work out 35 minutes: 0. Never got off my... to get moving
Make good choices and focus on my health and flexibility for retirement and beyond: made good food choices up until dinner but then off track and never got out for a walk. Couldn’t over come inertia. Lost focus
Support my bride: easy to do but didn’t honor her request to eat dinner at the table
Eat dinner at the table and walk afterwards, unplugged. [/quote] I know, or use as an excuse, my trigger of eating on the couch, watching TV and scrolling on my phone. Sat on the couch and never got off

For Saturday, it’s a new day. Can’t change yesterday, I can change today, be solid tomorrow and finish the week with a good average.

      1800 calories:
      Work out 80 minutes:
Make good choices and revisit my goals midway. Woke up this morning from a dream that I was working out. My subconscious wants me to do the right thing, listen to it:
      Support my bride:
Eat dinner and walk after dinner, both unplugged:

Not going to post goals for today but sharing photos from my virtual 5K this morning. Not at Lambeau Field in 2020 but passed a sunflower field instead. My walking buddy was a happy dog. #PACKERS5KOURRUNYOURTURF
