10/04- 189.2 I ate a salty snack last night after a couple of drinks with friends. Obviously here it is on the scale! Back on track today, target calories all week is 1350, no alcohol and keep up my steps. Estimated cals yesterday : 1588.
10/05- 189.4 hiked 5 miles yesterday in the beautiful weather. I saw that my BF% was down a lot on the scale so a lot of water hanging around still. Hoping for better weigh in tomorrow. Estimated cals yesterday: 1282
10/06- 187.2 now that's more like it. Finally the whoosh. Estimated calories yesterday: 1473 little higher than I wanted, I'm trying to adjust my macros a bit to have more protein.

10/05 138.5 (Ah...and there’s in the increase. Sigh. No idea why. I am doing my usual...weighing my vegetables, counting every calorie in my grape tomatoes, have run 3.5 miles every day, walked 15,000 plus steps, drank more than 120oz. water. Sigh. We’ll see tomorrow...)
10/06 139.5 (Dude getting weighed everyday is hard. Yesterday ran 3.75miles, 17,000 steps, 1135 calories, water, morning and evening exercises. And I gained a pound? What was it? Did the banana or apple I ate weigh more than the produce scale at Giant Eagle reflect? Oh well...every day is a new one. Maybe tomorrow will see a drop.)

Me too. And, my word document is stored in "the cloud" so I can get at it from my laptop or my phone.
Ugh, I wish I could save in something like the cloud to get access on both devices! That'd make it so much easier. Doesn't help I don't have anything to use on my laptop. I'm too cheap to pay $7/month for Microsoft Word just for this challenge haha! For now, I just take notes on my Libra weight app and MFP food diary and quote myself on here.
With a Google account (free) you can store files on Google Drive (free up to a certain high limit) and use their word processor, Google Docs (free). Of course then Google owns your data, but they probably already do anyway.5 -

10/4: 163.8lbs I did not count calories and we ate out for my birthday. Fasted 21 hours. Only 7000 steps, we did a bunch of driving. But not a bad start.
10/5 163.8 lbs over 1600 calories, 7000 steps, had a completely good lazy weekend. It helps to have slow goals, I get less discouraged and at least I am not gaining.

10/04 165.2 Hiked 6.25 Longest hike in awhile. It was a beautiful fall day. The kind of day you hope for every hike. Wore me out for the rest of the day though.

Bump from a few days ago, I’m sure. Chilly & foggy this morning, but it’s supposed to warm up and be back in the 60-70s the rest of the week. Good — I have a couple hundred bulbs to plant! (I went a little nuts at the bulb store!) I finished painting all the hallway doors on the hallway side. Today I need to do a few room-side doors, and maybe start on the armoire I’m making into a pantry. Wheee! Keeps me from sitting around munching — maybe I should do more of the same at night! 😁 Anyway, happy Monday, all!

@whitej1234 Why do you say the new scale weight is fake? The scale at my doctor’s office said I’m a pound less than mine but I use mine every day and his twice a year. If you’re going to use the new scale from now on, accept it and carry on. Just my thought on the matter - not a criticism. ❤️4

@SModa61 Look at what foods you have eaten in the past several days rather than calories. You could be reacting to one of them, causing the weight fluctuations. I know I react poorly to grains so as much as possible, I avoid them.
@CamandJarvis Word is $7 a month now??? When I got the last computer, I paid a flat rate for Home Office, or something like that. I need a new laptop so hope that will transfer!

@_JeffreyD_ My husband used to fish with a friend in southern Illinois, they caught Crappie (up to 2#) and catfish (yuck!) Apparently you need to go to the strip pits down there! LOL 😝
@kalchthaleri Perhaps look at your macros. Bananas have lots of sugar/carbs and the more ripe they are the higher they are. Just saying explore and learn how your body reacts. Mine takes 2-3 days

After a brief hiatus I am back with a few pounds to lose- I started 3 days ago and have lost nearly 1kg now my goal is to get back to maintaining below 60kg

10/04 63.0kg not the best start bit in still lighter than I was 3 days ago. OMAD day today.
10/05 63.1kg. Been to the gym and I'm ready for Monday!
10/06 62.70kg so heading in the right direction. Early gym done

Enjoy your fishing trip! Crappie are fun to catch & great to eat too. I still remember many many years ago my "future" husband (married 37 years) took me fishing in Louisiana for crappie/bream fishing. I was use to saltwater fishing (speckled trout, redfish and flounder). Well my first catch I set the hook ... and the fish went flying over to the water on the other side of the boat. That fish was probably like what the heck! 🎣 Still remember that day LOL

Well, when I bought it through the app store, it only allowed it monthly and it was about $6.89/month (so I rounded). I had to buy so I could update my resume, but once I got the job, I canceled! No reason to spend if I don't touch it.
Might have to try the google docs again. Last time I tried to open it on my phone, it wouldn't let me edit, just copy what was already there. Maybe the recent update I had fixed that issue. Doesn't hurt to try!3 -

10/04 - 150.4 - Continuing to hold steady from the end of the last round. Feeling great - I chopped my hair off last night and I don’t think I did that bad of a job! Got out for a run this morning and will be meal prepping this afternoon.
10/05 - 151.0 - The only reason I can think of for this gain is water weight - so hopefully I’ve got a whoosh coming in my future! I ran about 2 miles yesterday, then did a 3+ mile family hike (pushing 70+ lbs of kids and stroller), so I know I came in under calories since I didn’t eat differently from usual. I did my regular workout this morning and will track carefully this week.
10/06 - 150.4 - And back down again. Pretty tired this morning- feeling very heavy and low on energy. I took the kids out to a nearby garden this morning and let them run and play - really hoping that means a good nap for the toddler and an easier afternoon.
