Wow what are you doing to do that many steps everyday, nice work!

Saturday, Monday, Wednesday I walk 4 miles in the morning with my walking partner. My partner is a slower walker than I due to health issues but that generally equates to a nice leisurely stroll for about 1.75 hours. Then on Tuesdays, Thursday, Friday, Sunday I walk between 5-7 miles depending, spending about 1.5 To 1.8 hours walking. I try to move throughout the day(housework and such)....and when I run errands I choose to park far out in the parking lot. Or when I go to work I park far from the door. You can tell the days I work because those are my bigger days 17,000+ because I’m in my feet a bit at work.

Tomorrow is going to be a huge day. My walking partner are choosing to do the LONG loop at the lake we walk at on saturdays. It’s 8 miles. And I am working a very busy day at work so I should get loads of steps there.

I should also say: Walking has been therapeutic for me this year. It allows me to be by myself(in the quiet) or with a friend that’s an adult for over an hour. I listen to soothing music or upbeat music. Or I listen to inspiration and uplifting talks. I’m trying to use the time to mentally give myself a break and being outdoors honestly feeds my soul.

I see that some people are including the end of September steps. Do you want me to add mine?

That's amazing!, I have a desk job and I try to take breaks to move around some but just get caught up with meetings or calls but not doing great for my body, normally by 5pm I have barely done 1000 steps and do most of my steps in the evening . Running was my therapy and I love walking to, was lovely time for myself but since my knee injury if I walk/run more than 1 hour, knee hurts and I end up limping
