I am Dawn, 60, 5'2". I live in SE British Columbia Canada
Joined MFP October 28.18 at 191 pounds - That anniversary is coming up this month

Sunday October 04 - 143.5 - I hit 141.0 on my 60th birthday (September 20) so my short term goal is to get back to that weight over the next few weeks.
Monday October 05 - 143.1 - I am happy to see it coming back down.
    Tuesday October 06 - 142.1 -
Wednesday October 07 - 141.5 - Nice to be evening out. I would really like to see the 130s sometime this month, even just touch them a couple of times.
Thursday October 08 - 139.6 - Yay! Even if I don't stay there, it is a new low for me.
Friday October 09 - 141.3 - A more realistic number, but glad to have touched the 130s once, hope to touch it a few more times this month : - )

Saturday October 10 - 142.3 - Too bad for the upward fluctuation before embarking on a 3 day Canadian Thanksgiving feed. I am not giving up stuffing, turkey, gravy, potatoes, brussels sprouts, yams, rutabaga, cranberry sauce. Yes, I am going to eat it all, all 3 days.

I had gained (4.6 lbs) 😥 because I over ate the other day when I was upset about a new medical diagnosis, 😷 🤕 This morning I have lost (3.4 lbs) of the gained weight. 😸 Still have (1.4 lbs) of gained weight to lose.

It only took one meal for me to gain (4.6 lbs) (was on Oct 8th). Today is the start of the 3rd day trying to lose just the gained weight. I know over eating is not worth it, since it's so much harder to lose the weight gained. But still do it when I allow my emotions to take over. I need to learn to 🤐 control my response to my emotions 😩 and not over eat.

I'm a work in progress, and know it's one day at a time. It's not a diet I'm on, but this is a new life style I'm building for now and for my future. 😺💕

I'll be glad when Oct 28th gets here, I'll have a brand new talking scale. Even though I weigh in the 200s, it weighs up to 500 lbs. Hopefully, it will show my true weight better than the old scale. I need a tallking scale because I have vision problems, and this is the only talking scale I could get.

Hopefully, by the time I get it, it will show a better loss than my old scale. Which show an "E" a lot even though it can weigh up to 350 lbs. the problem is its a cheap scale, and hasn't worked properly since the day I bought it. 😸
