Hi Everyone. All good here, only insomnia kicked in like crazy... Hope everyone is doing well. I know if I don't get good sleep, my weigh ins are carp. Oh well, we will see what the scale says on Thurs. Right now, I'm not going to worry about it, cause that won't help !!
MFP has given me a high calorie allmont nearly 2,000 calories a day. I can't not eat that amount and lose weight. I've been trying to do this amount, but it's to high and I'm not losing, mostly staying put.
Today, I'm going to start with a calorie amount of 1,500 and see how I do at this amount. Eat this amount or under, and continue to eat healthy as I can, and drink as much water as I able.
Starting today, I'm going to include some exercise and walking back into my daily routine. Because of my knees I'll as much as I can safely do without causing my knees to hurt.

A little late, but I need the motivation and accountability. Lost 60, but gained back 30 during this covid crisis. Blew my knee out recently, need to get down to 250 for knee replacement surgery. Will have to lose weight mainly on diet since exercising will be very limited to upper body workout.

Ok, this sounds great! I'm in. AFAIC, if I lose at all over this period I'll be happy, so I'll set a modest goal of 1 lb a week until the end of the year. I'd be over the moon if I accomplish this!

Hi all! I’m back on MFP again and needing to stick to it this time. I lost 20lbs 6 years ago using MFP, and kept it off until I moved in with my boyfriend, now husband, 3 years ago. Since then, it’s been a steady decline in health (but a steady incline in overall happiness, at least! 🙂). I keep trying to get back on track and failing, leading to some minor health problems that could get serious if I don’t take care of myself. Setting a starting goal of 6lbs down between now and December seems like something I can actually stick with! So...here we go again. 💪😎
