Should I weigh meats raw or cooked if I'm only going to eat a portion of it

Hi- im very verry new to calorie counting and was a bit confused about weighing meats if im going to only be eating a fraction of it. For example, there's a whole portion of raw fish (maybe 8-10 3 inch pieces) that im going to dry fry/grill for my family, but im only going to eat two pieces out of that. So how do i go about weighing this- weigh only the two cooked pieces im going to eat or weigh the full cooked portion and my two cooked pieces separately or weigh my two raw pieces and then my two cooked pieces. I understand that it would be raw if it was part of a complicated recipe (like a curry or something) but im confused when its JUST fish (with salt, paprika and a little turmeric).

If you know which pieces you will eat, you can weigh them beforehand and log the raw weight (using a raw food entry). No need to weigh the cooked fish afterwards.

If you don't know which pieces precisely:
    - weigh all the fish raw
    - weigh all the fish cooked
    - weigh your cooked portion
And then you can calculate what proportion of the raw fish you are and log the raw weight (using a raw food entry).
