    Keto works the same as any other diet, by having you eat in a deficit.

    If, like many of us, you want your carbs, have them. Simply work them into your calorie allotment and say goodbye to keto. You will still lose weight if you eat in a deficit whether you do keto, high carb, vegan, IF, etc. because they all work the same way: you eat in a deficit. You simply need to find what works for you and it sounds like keto might NOT be the right thing.

    I simply use MFP, set it for 1 lb a week, and eat whatever I please as long as it keeps me feeling full and fits into my daily calorie allowance, but it works for me. Something else might work for you. Find what it is and stick with it.
