I almost hit the order button but caught my hand just in time. How super cute would this be with leggings or as a mini dress with knee-high knit boots? I saw some awesome slightly above the knee knit boots made on a 2" heel sole on ESTY. It would be great for me with my fading kitten. I saw it on the side ads here following this thread. How does Google know me so well?

Well dropped off the jug and have Homer and Alfie chilling on the bed..
Going to lay low today..my SIL was already on me early this morning..saying i had rented a movie over and over on the TV.which i most certainly did not she said she was charged 30.00 every week for a month..
If i hit a wrong button maybe ,but never would i do that..

Have her call the cable company- My husband had to do that because his mom kept doing it- we KNOW she didn't do it on purpose- she is 84yrs old and it was some porn movie a couple times. Had to put a block on her tv so she doesn't keep doing it- they fixed the charge for her.

Lisa- I love the photos! :star:

Kate UK- Thanks for the peek at the shopping center and park. :flowerforyou:

Rita- I’ve always imagined you in a warm place. Snow never entered my mind. Stay safe and warm. :flowerforyou:

Weather is beautiful here this morning and the river is the lowest I’ve seen in a very long time. DH’s car is acting up and he’s planning to have it hauled to a repair place. Keeping my fingers crossed for reliable and reasonably priced work. He’s had the car dealer work on it in the past, and they charged a high price for poor quality work. I am hoping for a better experience with another repair facility.

Allie - I know insurance is different in each state, but I am happy on the option I was able to pick from "Obama care" and will not have to pay anything back. Each state is different and each person's needs are different, but it seems worth checking it out with an open mind. I saved almost $400 a month for the same care.

We have a beautiful, sunshiney day. The temperature is currently 47 Fahrenheit on our deck. Luckily, it is warm in the house. B)

It is 37 here but sunny and I just got in a nice walk. The sun felt good with no wind. If I ever build my tiny house I will have a full windowed covered patio for winter that can be replaced with screens for summer.

Allie using your state insurance program can save you a ton of money if you find the right fit. I would definitely look into it.

It is 53 F on our deck. The sun is shining and there is a breeze blowing up river. Our outdoor thermometer is located in the shade.

Didn’t do any formal exercise today since I worked and then went bowling. But I’m sure I’ll get a decent amount of steps in. The plan for tomorrow is to do a body pump video

    – Somehow I don’t think the two small blisters are a spider bite since they are far apart from each other.

When I came out of work today I found a Food Lion mask (they have ones made up with their logo on it) in the parking lot in very good condition. Since not everyone has one, I took that one and now have it in the IP to sanitize it.

My starter is really blooming. I’m thinking that if it keeps up the way it has been (really doubling), if I feed it once more around 10 tonight, by the morning after exercise I should be able to make bread

    KJ
    – poison ivy/oak is usually in a row where the vine touched you. These aren’t in any kind of line. To be honest, I wonder if there’s any picker eater on the face of the earth than Vince. But, shhhh…, if he ever knew half of what he was eating, he’d never eat again. I’ve gotten pretty good at hiding things. But there are just some things that you can’t hide like spices.

    Lisa
    – that’s basically what I’m doing. I know that Vince likes a pork tenderloin and so do I. I was thinking of a lasagna the day Steve gets here or going out to eat since you never know about traffic, etc. so it might be later that he gets here. Maybe what I’ll do is ask Steve if he would like to make something and then I’ll have time to buy the ingredients if I need to

    Fae
    – I never thought of what you would do when menstruating! How interesting! I’m thinking that you’re right about the blisters. I was helping Vince put up the “fence” Saturday and I was kneeling on the ground. I had to measure how far from the driveway and how far apart the stakes should be so I’m thinking that I got some sort of bug bite. It doesn’t seem as bad today as yesterday. I did try hydrocortisone but I don’t think it worked as well as I was expecting. But you know what did? The ole hairdryer! Never fails. I’m so sorry that you have permanent nerve damage

Almost forgot mahjongg! Took a shower now going to work on the puzzle a little bit more, feed my starter, then get to bed.

Talented ladies!- We have so many talented women on this site! I would love to see a picture or read a description of your work/talent! We have writers, singers/musicians, woodworkers, cricut artists, sewers, crochet/knitters, bakers/cooks, floral arrangers, jewelry makers, ornament makers...the list is endless. Show me your stuff! I will try to find my talent (other than raising small children) and post some pics.

Love and hugs to you all! ttfn xoxoxo KJ (Kelly)

I write ... but after trying to write fiction for years and being told I didn't put enough emotion etc. into it, I discovered where my writing talent lies: technical writing.

So I write long instruction manuals, point-form cue sheets, lists of tips, research papers, business plans, and occasionally venture into stories about cycling events.

Regarding the stories about cycling events, I had them all on a website which I set up and coded myself but I've taken all that down and have started setting up a new website using Wordpress. This is something I am really looking forward to getting into again now that I've got a bit more time!!

I won't bore you with photos of my technical writing, but my website is machka dot net. It is in the early days of construction because I haven't had time to do more. But I'm hoping to start making more progress on it soon.

Photography would be my other "talent" perhaps which I would like to develop a lot more now that I'm free of university. Here's one of mine ...

I also bake, but haven't done much of that since about 2015, before I started into uni again and before I went on a mission to lose weight.

Way back when, I made some jewellery. It's one of the things on my list I'd like to get into again.
