What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I am 16lbs from my big goal of being in a normal BMI. I want to not gain during the holidays. I know that it will take some huge self control.17

After 3 weeks of cutting weight and wearing a uniform that became to big/loose on me, I finally bought a new uniform that fits just right. My mini goal is to cut the next 2lbs minimum which should help me cut 1/2 inch around the waist and give me more room in this new uniform.9

I've lost 23 pounds and would like to lose 26 by Thanksgiving. This is so that I can enjoy Thanksgiving and still have lost 25 when it's over
25 pounds would feel like a real achievement and like I'd got rid of a decent chunk of the fat I'm trying to lose.13 -
How amazing that this post has been going on for 5 years
My mini goal is to lose about 13kg (I am down 4kg) by the end of April because we are fingers crossed driving to Italy for our first family holiday in (what will be) 3.5 years.9 -
My goal is 240 by Christmas/end of the year. That's four more pounds. I'd love to hit 60 pounds lost at 236, but that may be a bit of a steeper goal.
I had hoped to be further down the scale by now, but there's been COVID, and we moved house in the middle of it, and we all know stress can make the body hold onto weight. I figure 52 pounds (so far) is a good start, and I am good at this now, I can keep it going next year while I write.15 -
Cross the 200 lb threshold and keep below 200 through the holiday season!15

1. The 6,000 steps a day plan helps me get more steps than I've been getting each day in small increments.
2. Then, just maintaining my healthier eating habits during very stressful times. (House got damaged by a large tree last weekend.)
Just those two smallish goals are making a difference in how my clothes fit and are manageable even in difficult times! :-)7 -
Seeing the scale show below 76 kg. It seems to have been stuck between 76.3 and 77.5 kg for ages, which in reality is about a month. (Oddly looking back to last time I lost, I see I had the same issue at around this weight.) However, this morning I was at 76.1 kg (which due to the way I have programmed it, my spreadsheet tells me is 11 stone 14lbs [sic!], down from 76.3 kg = 12 stone). So nearly there! Once I am below 76kg, I have less than 1kg to go to goal at 75kg.
I punched two new holes in my belt. The first one is comfortable but I can even do my belt up to the second.4 -
I really want to be at 160 by end of year, which is four pounds down from where I am now, though I doubt I'll make it since christmas is one of my few "free days" and I will probably have some water weight gain from eating a few festive but non-clean foods. So I'll settle for 160 by my MFP 1 year anniversary, January 6.1

My goal is to stay on a downward trend for certain dates coming up. Weddings, my birthday, swimming next summer, etc. I have a daily goal to stay within my calories. I take it day by day. If I can maintain the weight I was this morning to tomorrow when I record my weight for the week I will be more than pleased!4

Getting into the 100's! I am planning on being there by mid-January, sooner might be doable but I don't want to set myself up for disappointment so we'll see what happens. It's a lot closer than I was when I started.

Keep my strict CICO going for 2 weeks, I'm on day 9 today and feeling pretty good about it.7

I just discovered, today, that I can jog 2 miles without walking. My mini goal is a 5K. Running has been a beast for me. I can lift heavy and do cardio and have been working out consistently for the last 2 years but for some reason I couldn’t run. Of course, I have been avoiding running but the coach prescribed a 2 miles run/jog today and I did it! I am super stocked! I will add running to my routine and train for a 5K. It’s funny how hope can inspire! 🏃🏾♀️16
