I will never ever weigh 270 again. Soon I will say the same about 260.

    Starting weight: 272 (1-1-20)

    Goal WT 254

10/28 265.5 Yes It has been awhile but the fight continues. I have been doing some short term challenges as well and it has been a battle. Down 6.5 lbs this late in the year is not that exciting but its 6.5 lbs less than I weighed Jan 1st. Yes my goals have changed this late in the year but if I hit my target Jan 1 2021 I will be quite happy. Next weigh in Nov 1st, hey we have two more months left and a lot can happen in 60 days. Keep at it folks.

11/8 264.0 down 8 on the year, still time to do some good, the fight continues
11/15 263.0 down 9 on the year, cutting down the carbs, logging my food daily and staying accountable
    11/22 259.1
11/26 258.9 low carb is working for me, 252 is within reach which would be -20 on the year
    12/03
12/10 258.8 holding steady hoping to hit 254.0 for 1-1-21
    12/11
    12/12
    12/13
    12/14
    12/15

Weight lost YTD: - 13.2 wow this is exciting

This week's successes: Logging my food daily and keeping net carbs to around 30
This week's challenges : exercise more this week, keep on track

@dlhollin1 - I'm with you ... I started off this year with good intentions and then let it slip away from me. But patting myself on the back for stopping that insanity in August and getting back on track. My very simple goal is to now weigh less each year on Jan 1 whether or not I hit my vision goal ... weighing less should be celebrated!

Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in day out.

    2+ weeks till 2021 🎉

A pound a week seemed reasonable in January until I checked out back in the spring and then gained even more. 15 lb loss in 2019; gained back 5 before 2020; gained back 6 more during pandemic spring 2020. Starting again in August to continue my journey! I need to quit losing the same pounds over and over. If you are tired of starting over, STOP giving up.

I'll turn 60 this year and really want to get into Onederland and make it stick this decade!
    2019 Starting Weight: 245 (1/2/2019) BMI 43.4
    2020 Starting Weight: 235 (1/1/2020) BMI 41.6
    Goal weight: <200 in 2020
    Current weight: 212.8 BMI 37.7
    Total weight lost: 32.2

Past week's successes: Focused on my food intake and got back on track. Hopped on the bike 3x.
This week's challenges: My own personal mind games … there is nothing in my way this week to focusing on what I’m eating and getting exercise. My eye is on 211!

I have set up the 2021.....52 Pounds in 52 Weeks Challenge.

Week 51. Only one more week to go!
Still fighting to get below a weight of 185. Cooler weather (and some weak excuses) have kept me from riding my bike to burn a few thousand calories, so I’m relying on diet alone to keep it rolling (albeit at a slower pace) into the last days of our challenge. Too long at a plateau of my own doing has made it unlikely that I’ll hit a ‘healthy’ weight of 181 by January 1st 2021, so the goal is to sidestep the holidays and get as close as I can.

    Starting weight: 233 lbs
    Goal weight: 165 lbs
    Current weight: 185.3 lbs
Total weight lost: 47.7 lbs, -3.7 lbs since last post (week 46)

    This Week’s Successes:

Returned to a more consistent diet after a couple of weeks of maintenance. I also returned to daily logging, which has helped get me back on track.

    This Week’s Challenges:
No exercise. Cooler temps and a lack of weather appropriate workout clothes gave me a flimsy excuse to stop riding.

Last check in for 2020. This year has been packed with ups, downs, losses, disappointments and stress. I'm starting the New Year with a new attitude and outlook. Every day will be a gift and it will be up to me to take advantage of each one.

Happy New Year to everyone. See you all in the 2021 challenge.

Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in day out.

Past week's successes: Pulled myself together and started journaling food and exercising after Christmas. Did not wait until Jan 1!
This week's challenges: At the fishing camp with no routine, still too many snacks around as well as carbs.
