I'm not allowing myself to color my hair (and cover my gray) until I hit 10 pounds down. I am vain enough that this is a great motivator, currently. Hah.21

It's been a slow slog, but I'm now only 3 pounds away from my mini goal of getting under 150! I've been tackling my other goals with about 80% success on the 12,000 steps and no late night snacking, 100% on closing all my rings though!14 -

All you girls (and guys) ROCK!!!
My mini goal is to hit the 100's. I started this journey at 234 in Nov and I was 206.4 this morning! I'm 49, and I haven't been under 200 in probably 37 years!!!! I'm hoping to be 199 or lower in early February17 -
My mini-goal is also a huge goal. After being on this weight loss journey for 18 months, starting at a BMI of 34, I've finally had weigh-ins at a normal BMI:
The mini-goal is to get my weight trend under that line and consistently have weigh-ins under that line as well. Only then will I truly consider myself to no longer be overweight26 -

That's fantastic, Lietchi: what an achievement!

I hit my goal weight briefly (= in one weigh-in) over Christmas, but am back up a bit (1.5-2 kg) again, with my trend at around 1 kg above where I would like it to be. So my (mini-)goal is to tackle that 1 kg. It's proving pretty stubborn so I am going to give myself until Easter. On the plus side, I am within my maintenance range, just in the top half, and I would like my trend to be averaging around my goal weight instead of goal weight + 1 kg.15

Get to a healthy bmi. It's only 4 kg now... then it will be for vanity : )14

my pants are pulling across the hips and butt (and therefore being pulled down)

I’m losing weight steadily, but slowly, twenty five lbs since August 19th.
I’ve lost more quickly before then put it all back on plus a few more. So I know it’s better to be slow and steady. Still, I would like to get out of the 190s. Yesterday, I was 191.8, and I haven’t been drinking nearly enough water, so I do have hope I will be there soon.15 -
Finally starting to lose again! I have a chance of getting to 160 lbs by end of month. It's only .3 of a pound to go.16

209lbs (aka 95kg). I am currently 213.8

We’re in tandem in this journey, though you’ve pulled slightly ahead of me. And I share the same mini goal. You can do it! You’ve come this far.5 -

This week, getting below 15lbs lost. Got up this morning 15.1lbs. Nice. Next week, below 235 or maybe my clothes fitting better, feeling more comfortable, less aches and pains. So many goals, all short and sweet and all heading towards the big one... One step at a time.15

My wedding in March. I need to get rid of some back rolls and also build strength to feel comfortable in my heels.12

I hit the 140's!!! So my goal now is to hit 145 and I will be the lowest weight I've been in 20 years!20

Honestly, just getting that next pound. I'm losing VERY slowly, so I'm focusing on each pound that is lost. When my weight goes down only by increments of .1 and .2, every .0 is a new victory!13

I just started losing this year and so far so good.
But my mini goal is being able (for the first time in years) to tighten my belt to the next notch. So far no progress there, but it shouldn't be toooo long.11 -
I just started this year, too! My first mini-goal is to get to a 31-day streak of counting calories. When I get there, I'm getting myself a Garmin watch to support my long-term goals! I'm a bit too frugal at times, so I've had a hard time justifying getting one. This is really motivating for me, though. I feel like I have a good excuse to spend the money, hehe.15
