Welcome @roz0810 always happy to have others join JFT!

@ZizzyBumble I would love to see a photo of your knitting once it's complete. It sounds lovely!

    Recap 3/24 W

    2) Move hourly / stairs breaks :) 14/14 boom! 8.4k
    3) Net cals zero / 14c water  pretty close -91 & 12c
    4) GA-IT FY21 prep / print SS EE sheet / clear some email backlog / pack for work at home = 4/4
    5) Write checks & drop mail at Post Office / 7:00 Lent service / gas in car? / declutter 15 min. / at least one chore (several) = 3/5
    6) Unplug 9:00 / floss / retainers / Voltaren / 7:00 alarm (walk dog before work) 5/5

JFT 3/25 R work at home day & get to see hubby before he leaves for work <3
    1) Walked 3.6 mi & saw pileated woodpecker in flight / in woods  happy me & happy dog
    2) Move hourly
    3) Make shepherd's pie (WW version) for supper / net cals zero / 14c water
    4) GA-IT FY21 prep / clear some email backlog / online EE training / update tracking log & PRO s/s
    5) At least 3 chores
    6) Meditation / unplug 9:00 / floss / retainers / Voltaren / 7:00 alarm (walk dog before work)

    2021 Goals:
    1) Weight 150#
    2) Plan meals most days & prelog meals/snacks whenever possible on MFP
    3) Post weekly weigh-in on JFT for accountability. Saturday a.m. is my "official" weigh-in day, and I peek occasionally other days. My digital scale only shows half pound increments & I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale.
    4) Take measurements & log on MFP every month end ~ remember this year! ~ 1.31.21 ~ 2.28.21
    5) Exercise 5-6x per week (minimum 4x) ~ mostly walking but include weights/circuit & other x-training
    6) Participate in race or challenge events even if virtual ~ started MapMyWalk You Vs. Year 1021K on Jan. 1 / virtual 50 Mile Frenzy 11.27.20 - 1.15.21 (replaced Frenzy on the Fox for Jan. 2021) 50.37 miles 12.17.20 and completed 97.44 miles total / Tour de Northeast WI virtual challenge: cover distance from Oshkosh to Gills Rock (139 miles) 1.1.21 - 3.31.21 ~ completed distance on 3.21.21 / 30/45 Build to Bellin virtual challenge 30 min. activity for total of 1,350 min. in 45 days 3.1.21 - 4.15.21
    7) Be considerate and loving to hubby and have fun together ~ excellent goal last year that should be repeated
    8) Make efforts to keep in touch with parents, siblings and friends (most live in other towns or states) ~ had this goal in 2020 and how ironic
    9) Declutter bedroom, home office and basement ~ made good progress in 2020 & want to keep it up
Word for 2021: Gratitude ~ be mindful of & appreciate my many blessings

Hey youre a similar age to me :) I just turned 29.
Well done on your loss so far! How many you aiming to lose in total?

Thank you very much ❤️ I previously lost 42+lbs and over the years gained it back, then gained another 50lbs or so from lockdown and medication so I'm aiming to get rid of about 90lbs! How about you?

Originally it was about 45lbs. But I hit hard times and rather than stress-eating I stress-starved and lost 30lbs.
But now I'm eating again and I have already gained 4lbz a few week ago, god knows how much it is now.

So I'm guessing now I have anywhere between 15 and 25 (at the most) to lose.
Which will probably take me a lifetime 😂

    @Bex953172 - That's a long walk, I don't know if I would have even attempted it.

Looking back I don't know what possessed me to attempt it lmao

Pools still aren't open, but I think when they do open I'll sign up for a refresher swim lesson. I haven't been in the water since my last lessons in June 2019. I'm a bit nervous to try again now. I'm sure it's like "riding a bike" it comes back to you, but I know it takes strength that I don't have.

    .

I would agree its like riding a bike lol. You don't forget, and as for your stamina and strength, just treat it like any of exercise. I wouldn't expect you to walk into the gym and just beast out a 100kg deadlift lmao, just take it easy, do a few less laps, take more breathers if you need it, you'll be fine!

I have been able to consistently maintain my main food/exercise goals for just over a month now (with some slips as to be expected)! Very proud of my progress, and I think I need to shift into goals that are better for long-term. For example, I know daily exercise is not sustainable, and my body needs rest days. But I have a hard time stepping back and taking it easy. It's hard not to feel like a failure or just throw the whole thing out the window. So I'll be thinking of some goals to trade out, such as maybe a meditation/mindfulness goal? Or daily gratitude? Something that is not connected as much to weight, but more towards self-care. Suggestions welcome!

@Bex953172 in my long experience, tradesmen, and especially plumbers and heating engineers, end up in places you never expected. I would get him in to look at one particular thing and he'd be in every room in the house checking things. He'll find your pots! :)
