    My journey started back in January 2020. I was not happy with my weight and I let the pounds creep up over the years. I lost 20 pounds with the support from this group!! THANK YOU!!

    I let March slip away from, it was one of the worst months for me for several different reasons!! I am really focused this month to lose pounds that have now crept on.

    Hi! Goal to walk this week came out to 3 different days. YAY!

    I also did 2 sessions of abs, 1 stretching session, 1 lower body workout and 1 upper body.

    I worked on my spiritual plan. My nutrition plan was different which was good the earlier part of the week and now it is the holiday weekend+ ,so soon I will be back on and in the saddle , very soon and actually happy about that!! Enough diet soda already.

People don't listen to understand or empathize, in fact, they don't really "listen" much at all any more. They just wait for you to quit talking so that they cant talk about themselves! It drives me crazy!!:grimace:
    3/30 TRIUMPHANT TUE: share an NSV or another triumph that you've had recently. I recently dipped into the 160's, and today I (easily) got into a size 12 pair of purple psychedelic capri pants and a medium top!!
    3/31 "WONDERFUL WED: what's your favorite thing about the ""end"" of the work week?" Having 2 days that I can SLEEP IN!:lol:
    4/1 THIN THU: tell us about your weight loss journey. In 2018 I lost almost 60 lbs from March to Nov. Then I fell "off the wagon" at Thanksgiving, and had gained 12 lbs between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Over the past 2 years I've slowly gained 40 of that 60 back. I'm at the point right now where I was when I fell off the wagon in Nov 2018. THIS TIME AROUND I plan to learn about "maintenance" and work hard to stay on top of my weight. I can't consider it a "diet", I have to consider it a way of life.

    4/2 FOTO FRI: post a photo of anything you'd like! (Somehow I got a day behind and didn't even realize it until just now!) :lol: The pic on the left is me back in 2016 when I was at my highest weight (225). The pic on the right was taken this morning at 166lbs.

    My new daily goals:
    1. Did I plan and write down my foods in the morning for the day โŒ
    2. Did I ask myself if I was hungry before eating anything โœ…
    3. Did I stop eating halfway (meal/snack) and ask myself if I am full and stop if I was โŒ
    5. Did I drink 64oz of water โŒ
    6. Did I get 7 hours of sleep โœ…

    Family visits and parties this week. Eating way too much ..... I need to stop sabotaging my plans. Old habits creep back when my food decisions include others.

    3/29 MADNESS MON: share something that drives you crazy or gets under your skin! People who are not authentic or have a personal agenda with everything they do.
    3/30 TRIUMPHANT TUE: share an NSV or another triumph that you've had recently. Only eating when hungry this week and stopping halfway is making me THINK about my eating. I did a lot of mindless and meal timed eating before. I was able to put off lunch today for a couple of hours because I wasn't hungry. I was concerned because my husband likes to eat at certain times and I'm the cook. If I cook it I might as well eat it too. We talked about my new eating plan and he is working with me or grabbing something himself!
    3/31 "WONDERFUL WED: what's your favorite thing about the ""end"" of the work week? " Even though I am retired I still love Friday nights! Kickoff to the weekend which normally includes friends and family, community events, etc. !! We usually have a cook out or go out to eat on Friday night. Yes, it does include food, but friend time too!

    4/1 THIN THU: tell us about your weight loss journey. I'm a habitual dieter. I will diet strong for 3 maybe 4 weeks and then go back to eating way too much food. Then I will feel bad and start the process all over. I am stuck right now in a 1 week on and 2 days off, 1 week on and 2 days off. I'm reading and listening to podcasts to stop the 'not allowed foods' mindset that sets me off on a binge. I am learning right now and it has only been a couple of weeks so I do have some slip ups. Not as much 'hating myself' as before but just a little disappointed and know I can do better next time.

    4/2 FOTO FRI: post a photo of anything you'd like! I baked a Hulk Smash cake for our grandson's 4th birthday this past week. Of course I ate the candies and cake like crazy. Love sweets! He loved it!

    Sorry I've been missing several days. Yesterday our Family got together after 2 years & 4 months and we had an outdoor BBQ at my brothers house. He lives on two acres with horses and goats and they adopted the community ducks. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ฒ But!!!! No one was wearing a mask but myself my Ex that drove and my cousin that took the two hour drive with us. All of us in my car got our first Covid shot and was wearing a mask and will get our second covid shot on the 17th. This morning I'm waking with a dry uncomfortable throat feeling ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ˜ฃ but It was a beautiful gorgeous day with family But now I'm really concerned. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿ˜ฏ

    This week has been busy, but Iโ€™ve been sticking at it. We are now allowed to meet in groups of 6 in private gardens, so we delivered birthday gift to DEGS who has been working from home and hasnโ€™t been able to see family since Christmas. Hoping to be able to meet with DED and DYGS over Easter.
    Both my girls (theyโ€™re in their 50s) got their first jab this week.
