Started trying on old summer clothes that I’ve not been able to fit into for years and they are baggy/loose! Plans to go through my closet this week and clean it out more.

    Am I getting to comfortable at this weight and giving up? Nope! Setting a new goal of 205.x by 4/17.

    I let the opportunity of 100 days slip past me and did the bouncing weight thing again :( Really need to step up my game for this summer. I cannot let the fact that I now have a ton of clothes in the closet that fit demotivate me. Yep it feels so comfortable being back into my old cute clothes. BUT if I keep losing I can buy new cuter clothes ... so while enjoying these I need to move on.

    NSV I had to wear a belt to keep up my capris at the crawfish boil!! I've not worn them in years and now they are getting too big! YEAH!

    Day 9: Sun, 1/3: 211.6 Walked 3 miles after 5 hr drive, plank, 1531 cal, 48 net carbs, 2 wine. Time to get back on plan ... saw this number on Dec 15 and it is a relief that it returned after seeing higher numbers during the holidays.

    Jumping up and down!!! Finally see the zero at the end of the number ... I know that numbers on the scale are not the end all but a zero is a happy place to land right now. Can't wait to see the next zero when I hit 200!

I’m not a chocolate person but the Russell Stover - Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Mix with Stevia (low net carb but still high calorie) is too tempting and I find I’m snacking on it too much when bored or stressed. I need to break this new habit.

    NSV of sorts. I woke up this morning because my gown was bunched up at my hip and when laying on my side I could feel my hip hurting. Seems I have much less padding now that I've lost 35 lbs LOL

    Day 16: Sun, 1/10: 210.3 Walked 3 miles, bike, plank, 1873 carbs, 73 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Swoosh the pound is back 🙁
    NSV Took my measurements and I'm 3" smaller in bust & hips and 2" smaller in the waist so I dug into my drawer and found a favorite old pair of pajamas bottoms to try on and they fit!!!
    Day 17: Mon, 1/11: 210.0 Walked .25 miles rain, plank, 1969 cal, 88 net carbs, 1 glass wine. Too much chocolate and lots of canned & frozen meals today.
    Day 18: Tues, 1/12: 210.5 Walk 1.4 miles, bike, plank, 1184 cal, 75 net carbs, AF. I believe the stirfry with soy sauce that made me thirsty for water last night is cause for the bump.

    Nightly plank routine is so funny! DH & I on the floor with our standard poodle joining us for a plank minute break! All of us are enjoying it.

    NSV: Purged my closet of size 20 pants! ✔️ Shopping in my closets I found I have two times the number of pants and capris size 18 that fit now!!!! Whooohoo!

    Dipped down last week to 207.9. This time I need to make it stick
    5th Week Actual Weight: 209.6 Well darn! I saw suck great numbers this week then I let my cravings get the better of me.

    Day 30: Sun, 1/24: 209.3 @ fishing camp 🎣 Walked 3.6 miles, fishing, 1705 cal, 82 net carbs, 2 rum & diet coke.
    Day 31: Mon, 1/25: 210.3 @ fishing camp 🎣 Walked 3.6 miles, plank, fishing, 1942 cal, 132 net carbs, 2 vodka & diet tonic. WAKE UP!!! You are headed in the wrong direction. Giving in to old habits. :( Quit eating all those chips, crackers, candy & more carbs in the form of waffles at breakfast, rice at lunch and more rice at dinner and skip happy hour (stick to water).
    Day 32: Tues, 1/26: 209.3 @ fishing camp 🎣 Walk 2 miles, plank, fishing, 1356 cal, 36 net carbs, 1 rum & diet coke.
    Day 33: Wed, 1/27: 209.7 Walked 1.3 miles, 2502 cal, 124 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Long drive home in the morning and then I was in a funk, depressed, gloomy for the rest of the afternoon. Basically threw in the towel with McDonalds for breakfast, Popeyes for lunch, and rice & gravy at dinner. Today is a new day!

    Day 35: Fri, 1/29: 209.2 Walked 2.5 miles, 2098 cal, 89 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. DH & I got our first COVID vaccine shots! Afterwards BBQ turkey & sausage with roasted cauliflower and green beans for lunch expecting small dinner at home. Instead pasta @ my sisters with wine.
    Day 36: Sat, 1/30: 208.7 Walked 1.2 + 1.3 miles, 1856 cal, 108 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. DD brought us King Cake from a New Orleans bakery that her husband’s aunt gave them. DH & DD wanted chicken tetrazzini and of course I made my old recipe full of carbs but did serve it with roasted broccoli and NO french bread. Dull headache from the COVID vaccine that is just under the surface.

    Seen 207.x two weeks in a row and seem to blow it on the weekends rising back up to 209.x by Sat. This week will be different!

    I’m too comfortable in my clothes and enjoying shopping in my closet. I need to push through this mental stall and giving in to all the high calorie high carb suggestions from DH, my sister, and kids.

    Day 39: Tues, 2/2: 207.4 Walked 2.4 + .6 miles, plank, 1324 cal, 33 net carbs, AF. New challenge … no more sugar free chocolate as a snack in February! I’ve gotten addicted and I really never cared much for chocolate LOL

    Day 43: Sat: 2/6: 205.7 No exercise, shopping instead, 1345 cal, 57 net carbs, 2 glasses of wine. Lunch at Local Foods ate my favorite yummy Crunchy Chicken sandwich (oven roasted chicken breast, nut-seed crumble, crushed chips, lettuce, tomato, house pickles, provolone, buttermilk ranch, pretzel bun) with homemade chips and grapefruit as sides. But I ate only half which helped! That took willpower!

    7th Week Goal Weight: 207.x Getting back on track for 2021!
    7th Week Actual Weight: 205.7 YEAH!!! No chocolate sugar free candy, 4 days alcohol free and keeping my net carbs low is paying off!

    Day 44: Sun, 2/7: 206.9 No exercise, shopping with DH @ C&W Meat for alligator sausage, Houston Dairymaids for cheese, SPECS for wine, Penzeys for spices, 1723 cal, 132 net carbs, 2 glasses of wine. Lunch at La Lucha's outside patio pharmacy burger & fries and then simple dinner.
    Day 45: Mon, 2/8: 206.3 Walked 3.2 miles, plank, 1797 cal, 26 net carbs, 2 glasses of wine. Kids over for lunch instead of our usual evening Super Bowl party. Quiet evening with DH after a nice long walk.
    Day 46: Tues, 2/9: 207.0 Walk 1.4 + 1.2 miles, 1504 cal, 79 net carbs, AF. Yummy fried fish.
    Day 47: Wed, 2/10: 206.6 Walk 2.4 + .6 miles, 1436 cal, 78 net carbs, AF. Still eating lots of carbs :( Need to break the habit of snacking on chips … oh and a heaping serving of rich mashed potatoes at dinner.

Dinner of leftover homemade chicken enchilada soup (skinny taste) with avocado. Decided no drinks for me which was double hard with DH drinking and reminiscing about his childhood.

    Day 50: Sat, 2/13: 209.3 No exercise, up too early then tired all day, snacked, fried chicken for dinner, cooking appetizers for the party. Not sure that the journal is accurate because it is missing items. 2 glasses of wine.
    Went back and cleaned up my food journal included ALL that I remember snacking which was a long list. 2506 cal, 124 net carbs.

    Well that was a complete runaway. The pounds go on much quicker than peeling off.
    This week is an example of what NOT to do to lose weight and how the pounds go up throughout the year if I give up. NOT giving up … this week will be different and the outcome will be in the right direction.

    Day 51: Sun, 2/14: 210.2 Walked 3.3 miles. This is how the weight spirals out of control. Fast food lunch, evening party with tons of appetizers & dessert + 3 glasses of wine.
    Day 52: Mon, 2/15: 209.3 Walked 3.3 miles. Started with breakfast of king cake and continued eating. We have snow on the ground this morning … a rare occurrence here. Today is a new day to make better choices.
    Day 53: Tues, 2/16: DNW Walked 1 mile. 2 glasses wine. Off kilter on journalling.
    Day 54: Wed, 2/17: DNW No exercise. 2 glasses wine.
    Day 55: Thurs, 2/18: DNW No exercise. 2 glasses wine.
    Day 56: Fri, 2/19: 210.2 Walked .9 miles. Winter storms in Texas, infrastructure failures for both electrical and water. House hopping, unplanned meals, stress eating, 2 glasses wine each night. Haven’t journaled for days, exercise routine has vanished and I’m up on the scale. I’m back home. DS, his wife and their dogs were at our house earlier this week until we too lost power. Then moved to my sisters where the water pipe burst. Fixed it. Finally my power is back on so able to move home. DS has power now and we fixed his water pipes so they were able to go home.DD, her husband and dogs are with us now until the water is repaired in their condo building. My mom’s flight was cancelled earlier this week but is rescheduled for Sat. DD & my 2nd vaccine shot yesterday has been postponed so waiting now for new schedule on that front too.
    Day 57: Sat, 2/20: 210.2 Walked 2.3 miles. 2228 cal, 76 net carbs. Started eating chocolates and even more carbs. 2 glasses wine + 1 rum & coke.

    Day 58: Sun, 2/21: 211.9 Walked 3 miles. 2506 cal, 316 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. My weight has gotten out of control. Today I’m going to focus on just one thing … 80 oz water. Then plan to build from there each day this week.
    Day 59: Mon, 2/22: 211.7 Walk 3 miles. 2045 cal, 136 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Targeting 80 oz water but drank 64 oz water yesterday. Today’s focus low net carbs along with water again.
    Day 60: Tues, 2/23: 211.9 Walk 4 miles. 1778 cal, 45 net carbs, AF. Drank 80 oz water, nailed net carbs. Today I add vitamins on top of getting my 2nd COVID vaccine.
    Day 61: Wed, 2/24: 209.6 Walk 3.4 + .6 miles. 1550 cal, 61 net carbs, AF. Very rough night … headache, arm sore, chills/shivering, achy all over, little to no sleep. Going to try to push through it today and walk the dog but likely will be back in bed trying to sleep later today.
    Day 62: Thurs, 2/25: 208.1 Walk .6 miles, gardened a little, 1754 cal, 132 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Slept! Long morning & afternoon naps. Think I’m fully recovered. Weight is also shedding those winter storm pounds.
    Day 63: Fri, 2/26: 208.8 @ fishing camp 🎣 No exercise, long drive to camp, 1937 cal, 107 net carbs, 4 glasses wine. Plan to walk, clean the camp house, clean up the plant damage from the freeze, and maybe if I’m lucky fish this afternoon. Mom is getting her COVID vaccine today so I’ll be here to monitor her, cook, etc this weekend. Remembered to bring my scale to the camp!
    Day 64: Sat, 2/27: 207.9 @ fishing camp 🎣 Walked .5 + 3.6 miles, deep cleaned camp inside & out, no fishing. Still need to do some gardening. Mom had no symptoms last night after her vaccine. She is just tired.

    I let the winter storm issues really mess up my weight loss success last week. The 205-206 slipped away and I'm back up where I was at the beginning of 2021. Time to turn this boat around.
    I need to quit losing the same pounds over and over. If you are tired of starting over, STOP giving up.

    Day 65: Sun, 2/28: 208.2 @ fishing camp 🎣 Walked 3.6 miles, more gardening cleanup and fishing but caught nothing (huge kill of fish and turtles out on the laguna after the winter storm). 2024 cal, 93 net carbs (this included mini blue bell ice cream sandwich & small baked potato), 3 glasses of wine.
    Day 66: Mon, 3/1: 208.1 Walked 3.6 miles, long drive in car. 2030 cal, 152 net carb, 2 glasses wine. Two large high carb meals with family.

    Day 68: Wed, 3/3: 207.4 Walk 3.2 + .5 miles, 1882 cal, 88 net carbs, 1 glass wine. Validating original plans and contracts for DD’s 1 year anniversary party in April as a follow up to the wedding last year that went from 150 people down to 10 during lockdown. Stressful since there is much to do and the photographer just backed out.
    Day 69: Thurs, 3/4: 206.7 Walked 3.4 + .6 miles, bike 20 min, 1989 cal, 44 net carbs, 1.5 glasses of wine. Afternoon of Tostitos feeding stress. Need to break that habit.
    Day 70: Fri, 3/5: 206.4 Walk 2.8 + 1.3 miles, garden clean up, 2417 cal, 53 net carbs 2 glasses of wine.
    Day 71: Sat, 3/6: 207.1 Walk 2 miles, 2122 cal, 134 net carbs, 3 glasses wine. Rice and tostitos get me again on the carbs. I told myself I would not have wine this evening but then my sister stopped by joining DH and I for dinner shrimp creole with roasted broccoli & The Good Guys movie.

    Day 73: Mon, 3/8: 206.8 Walked 3.1 miles, gardening, 1900 cal, 127 net carbs, 1.5 glasses wine. Love leftovers day when the last couple evenings have been yummy! Indulging in ice cream 2x = more carbs. Today I'm shopping with my daughter for her outfit for the 1 year anniversary party ... and my own as well. It will be interesting going into stores and trying on clothes.
    Day 74: Tues, 3/9: 207 Walked 1.2 miles after shopping 16300 steps, food journal incomplete, 1 glass wine.

    Day 76: Thurs, 3/11: 207.7 Walked 2.9 miles, food journal incomplete, 1 glass wine. TODAY IS THE DAY … I get back into focusing on me and quit stressing about everything else. Goals: Low carb, 80oz water, AF, NO ice cream or choc, and journal everything.
    Completely lost it this week ... the stress of shopping Monday and then the planning for the anniversary party took over my life. Very little walking the dog, very little meal planning, and lots of stress eating & drinking. See if I can turn it around starting Thursday!

Otherwise I dreamed of vacations (created a wish list with DH while we dined at an outside restaurant) and searched for European River Cruises and Backroads Active Travel Adventures.     Day 80: Mon, 3/15: 207.7 Walked 3.3 miles, gardened, 2083 cal, 108 net carbs, AF. Lots of unnecessary snacks between 1-4pm :( I was tired and should have taken a nap!
    Day 81: Tues, 3/16: 207.7 No exercise, dine out for lunch & dinner, shopping for dress, 2325 cal, 73 net carbs, Torchy’s Tini. My sister is on spring break so we are running the roads and I’m still stressed with party planning, deadlines all week, meetings to meet with vendors, as well as hosted book club over zoom.
    Day 82: Wed, 3/17: 208.1 Walked 1 mile, shopping for dress, 2031 cal, 131 net carbs, 1 skinny margarita lunch with sister, 2 wine dinner. Need to reel myself back in and focus on me first before stressing for the day.

    I’ve got to figure out how to deal with the stress without eating and drinking! This will be a VERY BUSY week … DD’s 1 year anniversary planning, meetings with florist, day of coordinator, the venue. Plus I am hosting both of my book clubs via ZOOM Mon & Wed night (no wine please). Then another in person meeting Thursday evening. Need to also finish clearing all the dead plants we lost in the freeze as well as cut back grasses and iron plant that looks terrible. My sister is off for spring break and wants me to shop with her for rugs while I still need to find a dress for the anniversary party. Then headed to the camp next weekend to meet up with our son & his wife to fish.
    MY PERSONAL GOAL: Take time to walk! Plan my meals! Drink water. Reduce snacking & alcohol indulgence.

    Day 1: 12/26: 137.7 - Extremely active day, but also ate quite a bit. 451 calories left over in the Green
    Day 2: 12/27: 137.1 - I have enough leftovers for a few days, stuffing and gravy is my weakness so I will load my plate with veggies and turkey and stretch out the badder stuff : - ) 561 in the Green
    Day 3: 12/28: 137.7 - I was awake throughout the night and weighed less just now, but am using my very early morning weight. 717 in the Green
    Day 4: 12/29: 137.2 - Back on track at least until NYE. 302 in the Green

    Day 26: Wed, 1/20: - 135.5 - I have moved all of my jobs from today to tomorrow. I am going to get out for a nice long walk/hike. Yesterday was incredibly windy with dust blowing everywhere when I tried to leave work for a small walk/break so I didn't spend any time outdoors. I had my 2 year physical early in the morning. Doc was pleased with my weight loss, but still needs me to lose more to bring my blood pressure further down and get me to a healthy body weight for my height. Working on it. Very slow. 526 in the Green

    Day 51: Sun, 2/14: 135.6 - Hoping that the weather goes back to "normal" soon, outdoor activity tends to lose me more weight than indoor for some reason. Perhaps it is a chemical that only gets produced outside? 1144 calories in the Red.
    Day 52: Mon, 2/15: 136.3 - This will go up more, I had Ribs yesterday, so this choice will lead to the expected results. Glad that I stop myself from having them once per week like I used to. MFP says that I would be 144 pounds in 5 weeks if every day were like that. I have to keep with the calorie intake/burn in which MFP says that I will be 123 in 5 weeks if I eat like that every day. I had an entire day of calories extra yesterday, that will take a while to undo. I will work out extra today and eat frequently and light to try to mitigate it. 841 in the Green
    Day 53: Tues, 2/16: 135.3 - That is the quickest that I have bounced back from Ribs. It was a holiday yesterday though, so I had time for lots of workouts. Or maybe my body went into fat burning overdrive from the excessive calories the day before. 725 in the Green
    Day 54: Wed, 2/17: 134.8 - I have been working out and eating well since the Ribs. I have now made up for that day in the "Red" and am moving forward. Once in awhile "treat" takes a while to get back off. 717 in the Green
    Day 55: Thurs, 2/18: 134.4 - Worried about our friends in Texas with this climate change weather whip. 911 in the Green
    Day 56: Fri, 2/19: 133.3 - New low. I have been working my tail off this entire week to try to mitigate my overage from Ribs consumption. I have a nice steak and prawns for tonight's dinner, so will definitely need to get a bunch of activity in before that. 493 in the Green
    Day 57: Sat, 2/20: 133.5 - Not too bad after my huge bacon wrapped beef tenderloin steak last night. Pizza and drinks tonight though...138 in the Green

There is some bonus indoor ice skating every day for 9 days starting on Monday, and it will be the last for the year. They didn't open in my town this year and the Kinnettes stood up and rented the facility for over March break to offer it. Perfect timing for our last days of the 100, expecting to lean out. Skating burns major calories, is super fun, and great for the mental/emotional health. Very excited! 474 in the Green

    Day 87: Mon, 3/22: 131.7 - Quite a drop. I had touched the 132s last week and 2 weeks before, first time seeing anything in the 131s! If I have touched it once I know that I can get back to it even if it fluctuates from here. I normally get up at 5am, and slept until 9am today, so that has probably a lot to do with the lower number. 809 in the Green
    Day 88: Tues, 3/23: 132.6 - Ribs some time this week and a close friend's birthday on sunday coming up, it would be nice to have a cushion. I already have limited Ribs to once per month, but I think that this time I am going to try have only 1/2 of a rack so that I don't have to "pay" for it for so much. Such little meat on 4 or 5 bones, but so fatty and very high in calorie. 132 in the Green
    Day 89: Wed, 3/24: 131.8 - Well, I had a 1/2 rack of Ribs, turned out to be 4 bones. It is really not the way that I like to eat Ribs. So now I have a 1/2 pack in the freezer (plus 5 full packs). I waited a month in between Ribs nights, a full rack will be back for next time. We'll see if the scale might catch up in a few days, it generally takes 3 days until things show. I had a great deal of activity, but the Ribs are so very high in Calorie that I had a very small deficit. I really need a deficit of 500 each day in order to shed weight, or at least an average of that. Back to chicken breast and 4 huge portions of veggies tonight. 994 in the Green
    Day 90: Thurs, 3/25: 132.7 - Ribs catching up (even though it was half, still a tonne of calories), but mitigating it with daily skating offered this week. 1088 in the Green
    Day 91: Fri, 3/26: 132.6 - Up way too early, hoping for a nice drop on tomorrow's weigh in. 803 in the Green Day 92: Sat, 3/27: 131.7 - Ice skating all week has been so great. Day 6 in a row of it this morning, none tomorrow. I am going to be indulging this weekend with my bubble friend for her birthday. 467 in the Green thanks to skating.

    Day 96: Wed, 3/31: 132.8 - I burned off more than I ate yesterday! 14 hour workday, burned over 900 just on my pedometre from that, and adding my morning workout and ice skating to the tracker might have been the most that I have ever burned. Very little time for food, I didn't get dinner until almost midnight. 2 days left of skating, and we will see how my body catches up. Four more days of the 100 friends. 713 in the Green
    Day 97: Thurs, 4/1: 132.3 - Last day of skating today : - ( 630 in the Green
    Day 98: Fri, 4/2: 133.8 - Ouch - 2 days to make this number change lol. 936 in the Green
    Day 99: Sat: 4/3: 133.7 - Dissapointed with this, still waiting to see the effects of 2 weeks of daily skating. Right down to the wire for day 100. Nevertheless, down 4 pounds from my start weight even though I truly expected to be less than this.

    Thanks for sharing your info about your location. Although my family was a few generations from Montreal, I grew up in the Toronto area. We did so many driving trips when I was a kid, and went all over Michigan, Vermont, New York, Maine, Mass, etc. Detroit was quite close to us. Saginaw sounds really familiar, I bet that we went there : - )
    Michigan is beautiful. Where would you have chosen to live if your family didn't live around there?

    Day 18 – 01/12 …..207.0….. I am very happy to see no gain after travel. I chalk it up to falling asleep early causing all my meals to be earlier. However, sometimes it shows up a couple of days later so I will be watching and tracking the patterns.
    Day 19 – 01/13 …..207.2….. A tiny fluctuation. I managed to increase my steps yesterday but I had to work for it. I added a two mile indoor walk to get me over the hump.
    Day 20 – 01/14 …..207.0….. Movie night last night. A very good low cal/low carb planned dinner but the snacks were off-target. I’ll eat better today but not much movement. Feeling tired…..
    Day 21 – 01/15 …..xxxxx….. No chance to weigh today. A friend woke me up banging on door. Yesterday was good but last night I had too many bad snacks.
    Day 22 – 01/16 …..207.0….. A complete rest day yesterday. In bed at 6:45 pm to watch TV until 3:00 am. Slept in this morning to get more sleep than I’ve gotten in months. Over 6 hours which is AMAZING for me. I usually just don’t seem to need more than about 4.5 hours. Maybe retirement will change my sleeping patterns for the better! Going for a 6 for tomorrow’s numbers!
    Day 23 – 01/17 …..206.8…..Finally a 6! Barely, but finally!
    Day 24 – 01/18 …..206.2….. 3 meals instead of 2 yesterday but no snacks. Finally TMI (bathroom duty). It helped. Now I am going to push for a 5.
    Day 25 – 01/19 …..205.6…..Yay! The meals still aren’t perfect but I am focusing on at least a 12/12 IF and a “very diet” dinner in a small quantity. I am still eating very late, but better. Focusing on sleep. Phone woke me up at 5 hours & 5 minutes today. I forgot to mute it. Still better than usual but I would have slept a bit more otherwise. I feel my body fighting me a bit. I woke up starving. I am listening to the cues. I had a bit of an early breakfast. I will keep my dinner light.
    Day 26 – 01/20 …..205.2….. Moving right along and hoping to keep it up! This puts me back to just below my starting weight. Now, to get busy!
    Day 27 – 01/21 …..205.4….. Just a small fluctuation. Yesterday was pretty busy. Ended up with OMAD and low calorie but not much exercise or movement. Lots of water though! I am still feeling happy and strong!

    Day 29 – 01/23 …..206.2….. I cooked a beautiful low calorie and low carb meal for my friend yesterday. Day was going great. Then……late night snack monster reared his ugly head. Pop-tarts and milk. It wasn’t worth a full pound gain by any stretch of the imagination. I will try to extra-tweak today to make up for it so that pound doesn’t stick around.
    Day 30 – 01/24 …..208.2….. This is not the way to get to Onederland. It’s not even the scenic route. Turning this train around so I can go in the right direction. Lost my way.
    Day 31 – 01/25 …..207.0….. I wish I could take credit for doing something wildly healthier and different but I can’t. Scale shot up yesterday more than expected and shot down today more than expected. Strange. I seriously don’t think, based on what I ate, that it was fluid retention so I am baffled but happy this morning to see a bit of a correction.
    Day 32 – 01/26 …..206.6….. I hope to make better choices today.
    Day 33 – 01/27 …..207.6….. I need potty duty and more exercise, both of which is proving impossible.

    Day 35 – 01/29 …..207.6….. Back down on hands and knees scrubbing carpets in my new home. Previous owners were extremely heavy smokers and very old so the entire house (all 3 floors) has not been thoroughally cleaned in YEARS! One room has blue carpet which appeared to be 100% completely green until I hand cleaned it then went over with shampooer. Doing around the edges where the shampooer struggles to reach is the hardest but I’m getting it done. With the process I’m using, each room takes 6 days so this will be going on for months. It is my winter project because spring holds so many things to be done! So I am burning the calories, for sure, but not getting in many actual steps. I just hope for continued progress in my journey as well as in my home.

I must be creative in my eating choices and be willing to cook later when I am so tired. I am still working on carpets. It will be awhile before I can breathe easy.
    Day 41 – 02/04 …..xxxxx…… Woke up running and actually forgot to weigh.
    Day 42 – 02/05 …..208.6….. Okay, let’s try this again!
    Day 43 – 02/06 …..207.2….. I can’t quite pat myself on the back. The day ended in lower calorie overall but the choices of quick frozen food was questionable. Not very healthy.
    Day 44 – 02/07 …..207.7….. Pizza with DD and DGS which is a rare occasion these days, especially with the pandemic. No formal exercise except chasing the 3 yr old up & down the stairs most of the evening! Back on track today.
    Day 45 – 02/08 …..207.4….. Better.
    Day 46 – 02/09 …..206.6….. I am expecting a high-sodium dinner so I am being extra careful today and will be drinking plenty of water.

    Day 50 – 02/13 …..206.0….. I am grateful for no change. I ate great healthy meals yesterday and then binged on snacks. And I do mean BINGE!!!!! I will be extra careful today to help make up for my bad choices last night.
    Day 51 – 02/14 …..206.4….. I have gained exactly 1 pound since the start of this challenge. Very disappointed! I did an experiment. I added up all the weight loss from day-to-day since Jan 1, 2020 to see how much weight I had lost because I knew I was losing the same pounds over and over. I have lost 103.8 pounds! However, my scale is showing a gain of 12.4 lbs during the same timeframe. Talk about self-sabotage! Something has to change!
    Day 52 – 02/15 …..208.8….. One meal yesterday. This is frustrating and very unfair.
    Day 53 – 02/16 …..207.2….. Weight coming back down. Grateful where I can be.
    Day 54 – 02/17 …..204.6….. Sodium likely gone. Great food choices yesterday. No exercise due to work crew. They are here again today.

    Day 56 – 02/19 …..204.8….. Good diet yesterday but very very little movement. On the computer most of the day with tax prep. Today is day 3 with no TMI so I think that contributes. Still no word of vaccine in my little town. They are still on the very first group here – Group 1A for medical personnel. We don’t have many medical personnel in our town so it is a lack of the vaccine itself. I just want to get this over with! I am group 1C due to diabetes and cancer remission.

    Day 58 – 02/21 …..205.0….. Grateful to have the same numbers glaring at me from the scale. My calories were okay yesterday but OMGosh on the choices I made. Horrid, Horrid little girl I was! Absolutely nothing fueling or replenishing about what I stuck in my pie-hole. That makes me feel gluttonous and (almost) childlike. I was a limited thinker yesterday. Today I will ponder before I put my greedy little fingers upon anything!
    Day 59 – 02/22 …..207.2….. I had a bowl of ice cream instead of lunch. I guess my body knows the difference and punished me. Nutrition matters.
    Day 60 – 02/23 …..207.2…… I refuse to spend 100 days making more better choices than not, move movement than not, more sacrifices than not and end up in a higher weight than when I started! I am expecting Chinese tonight (and leftovers tomorrow) for dinner. Pushing water. Skipping lunch. Diet alone isn’t doing it though. I need more movement and there is absolutely zero privacy here during this remodel. (And more remodeling coming.) I’m so tired at night but I have to fit something in!
    Day 61 – 02/24 .….207.5…… Chinese leftovers today so I don’t expect to see anything very nice or friendly on the scale tomorrow.
    Day 62 – 02/25 …..207.5…… Thankful that the leftovers didn’t kill my scales or my spirit. Using the stairs………..
    Day 63 – 02/26 …..207.2…… Yay, I put that Chinese behind me (which was a tasty treat) and had a low calorie dinner yesterday. I walked the steps but found I could only do it once at a time (very steep and I am out of shape). That is okay because I can just do it more often and build up my strength. Love the idea!
    Day 64 – 02/27 …..207.6…… Frustrated. It was the homemade sour dough bread from the Amish with butter. I should not have went back for that 2nd piece later last night. Extra stairs today!
    Day 65 – 02/28 …..207.0…… Although this was a nice overnight drop, I am up 1.6 lbs since the start of this challenge. My main goal now is just to get back to starting weight by the end. It sounds easy, but based on my stats, it won’t be. Focusing on this shorter term goal at this point may help.

    Day 66 – 03/01 …..206.6…… Hopeful I’ll stay smart & ready as each day comes. I fit in 20 minutes of dancing last night when I got a burst of energy. It put my steps over 11,000. So grateful!
    Day 67 – 03/02 …..207.4…… Bouncy Bounce. Snacks with milk. Why can’t I be like a normal person and have a snack with a glass of milk and not balloon up so much? Gosh I miss being in my 20’s
    Day 68 – 03/03 …..207.0…… Better and very pleased because I did end up traveling yesterday afternoon until later last night. I needed a Home Depot for some returns and some remodel shopping. The crew took the day off for some personal business so my son & I took care of our business. I steered clear of Chinese because I struggled all last week over one dinner. Instead I opted for my son’s pick….Applebees. I tried something new, the prime rib sandwich. I also had 4 boneless honey-BBQ wings. I left the fries on the plate and drank water with lemon. Sandwich was delicious. So glad I kept my cool. Down nearly half of a pound when traveling is a record for me!
    Day 69 – 03/04 …..208.4…… Maybe that travel/restaurant lunch caught up with me afterall. I dunno. I also had a SEVERE glucose drop last night. I kept my cool pretty good. A bowl of cereal with milk very late night did not help my scale this morning, but it did fix the symptoms. Aiming for a well-balanced day today. Tomorrow is travel out-of-town for my appointment with attorney. Time to update my will. I haven’t made changes since my husband died 5 years ago. My children are all grown since I originally made my will which changes things. Also, with the recent sale of my two businesses, it really needs to be done. I will try to keep any luncheon choices reasonable. I am not off to a very good start on my search for Onederland. But it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. #fightingthegoodfight.

    Day 70 – 03/05 …..208.4…… Small quantities but bad choices. Another glucose drop last night. This one was the type that makes you feel drunk. Woozy, unsteady on feet. Strange foot to floor sensations. Clouded thinking and judgement. High fall risk, must hold on to things because of staggering. Not as fast coming on as the feeding frenzy kind but something that has to be dealt with. Very cloudy vision. Strange thinking. Drunk is the only way I can describe it. This shows how out of shape my diet is (when too low calorie or carb puts me in this state). My body doesn’t want the (healthy) change. I will take it slow. Traveling today to work on having my will & trust updated along with some other legal matters. Lunch will be out-of-town. Everything is challenging right now.
    Day 71 – 03/06 …..208.4…… Traveled to attorney appointment yesterday to begin the process of updating my will, trust, power-of-attorney and advanced directive. Now I have some homework to do before my next appointment on March 17th. I had lunch at a restaurant in that town. I ate half and boxed the rest up for my dinner. I kept it reasonable but my snacks late last night are something I’m not too proud of. Glucose stayed steady probably because of the snacks. I hope to keep today better and that the meal out does not show up in a day or two on the scale.
    Day 72 – 03/07 …..207.6……Yay! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am, especially after travel! Today will be takeout pizza. No, I am not self-sabotaging (this time). After the work crew leaves today, I will be having takeout with my children as we hold a family meeting in regards to my Will & Trust. It will be a difficult evening so I am already stressing and I didn’t sleep well last night. I will try to keep portion reasonable and get in some pacing steps & stairs today while the work crew are here.
    Day 73 – 03/08 …..208.2…… Pizza straight to the hips! I will be better today.
    Day 74 – 03/09 …..206.8…… Meals light. Snacks…..Meh. I can do better!
    Day 75 – 03/10 …..204.8…… What a shock on the scale! I actually had another drunken sugar drop last night which woke me up from sleeping at 4:30 am. This is quite surprising because there is this time period during the night, (it has a name bug my cancer brain fog is preventing me from remembering it) when a T2D has a pretty big raise in their glucose numbers at night. So walking up to such a drop was uncharacteristic. I dealt with it with a pop tart and milk and felt pretty good pretty quickly. Of course, I thought that would ruin my weigh-in this morning and I was quite surprised to not see a bad affect on the scale. I’ll remain grateful today and try to run with the ball. I will be traveling later this week, perhaps Friday, for more building supplies. I am going to try to save up some calories and stay reasonable like I have the past couple of trips.
    Day 76 – 03/11 …..206.2…… Two pounds overnight I suppose was not realistic and my body adjusted. Still down 0.6 from 2 days ago. TMI would help but daily is not a regular thing for me so this probably affected the scale today too. I had a good day yesterday with meals and I increased my steps. Happy overall to be seeing a downward trend. I’ve just got to keep fighting the good fight, like everyone else!
    Day 77 – 03/12 …..207.0…… Dinner out last night. Family emergency today.
    Day 78 – 03/13 …..207.2…… My daughter and grandchild (3 yr old rambunctious boy) decided to move back in last night. For how long, I don’t know. A family squabble that will not resolve easily. I foresee some back & forth going on but time will tell. Lots of cooking and small meals for my grandson. Eating and schedules will be different. I am even curious how this remodel can possibly work out. Everything up in the air right now, but I see more steps coming (which is good) and lots of nice time with my family. Just difficulties with the food planning and diets.

    Day 80 – 03/15 …..207.2……Not doing well on the diet with the houseful of people daily. Between family moving in and the renovation crew, my life is upside down! Doing my best here but I just don’t have the space, the energy or the privacy I need to cook multiple dinners, lunches, etc. I already cook 2 different ones per meal due to my son’s autism and eating disorders. I’m not going to throw my hands up. I will find the answers.
    Day 81 – 03/16 …..207.0…… Okey Dokey. A touch better and in the right direction! Traveling tomorrow back to the attorney office finishing up some more Will & Trust. Lunch will be out. I will try to be thoughtful in my selections. I'm a little depressed today that I will have to fight a good fight just to get back to my starting weight at the top of this challenge (before it ends). So, I suppose that is my new goal. Maybe next challenge I can do more than just tread water.
    Day 82 – 03/17 …..xxxxx…… DNW. I forgot during the hustle and bustle of the morning prior to my trip. Lunch was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I kept my portions low, but my oh my, the carbs! I hope the scale will be understanding.
    Day 83 – 03/18 …..207.4…… Not bad after a pizza luncheon and a lack of activity due to being on a long car ride there and back and a 2 hour sitting appointment. Tonight we will be having the high sodium corned beef for our St. Patty’s day dinner we couldn’t have yesterday. Pushing water today!
    Day 84 – 03/19 …..207.4…… Grateful for no gain (so far) from the dinner. My portions were reasonable. It was nice to share a special meal with others.
    Day 85 – 03/20 …..207.0…… I am grateful for this after two days of salty corned beef and all the fixings! Pushed water so bad that I was up all night peeing, but I am grateful to see a loss. I have a birthday party tomorrow for my DGS turning 2. I can’t turn down cake and icecream so I am going to try to be extra careful today and Monday. That’s my plan! My starting weight this challenge was 205.4 and that feels a million miles away from where I am now. I know, in reality it’s not, but at my pace, it may as well be. A couple of good days in a row, (after the party and now that the holiday is over) and I could possibly get back there. That would be a great mini-goal!
    Day 86 – 03/21 …..208.4…… WHAT???? Love cal junk yesterday. Not healthy but well within calorie range. No TMI/Potty so playing that game again! Frustrating but typical.
    Day 87 – 03/22 …..207.4…… Left, Right and Upside Down. The birthday party was really nice but filled with junky food and treats so I’m a bit surprised at this drop. I’ll have to keep an eye on this over the coming days.
    Day 88 – 03/23 …..209.0…… My daughter brought Dairy Queen home from out of town. 2 chili dogs that tasted like a salt shaker and a medium Blizzard. Bloated me up this morning and I hope it is just temporary. I got in almost 12,000 steps yesterday. Over 5 miles on my fitbit and 16 sets of steps just doing housework and chasing DGS. But it was not enough to mitigate the damage.
    Day 89 – 03/24 …..208.8…… I’m being pulled into family conflict. Eating my emotions with the junk my daughter is bringing home. Plus, it is so easy to eat it when these renos are going on. Gotta STOP!
    Day 90 – 03/25 …..208.2…… I’m traveling out-of-town today for the 1st Covid shot. I am driving 3 others with me. Car-pooling since it is a bit far. Daughter handled an emergency with her father and did not stay last night. My weight went down!
    Day 91 – 03/26 …..208.8….. Travel weight. My first Covid shot was a breeze. It just couldn’t have been any easier. No pain, no side effects. Moderna.
    Day 92 – 03/27 …..207.6…… I put forth more effort. I’ll do even better today!
    Day 93 – 03/28 …..207.6…… Still dreaming of Onederland. Not this round, obviously, but soon…..very soon. I don't want to over-hype anything up and be disappointed later but I swear this is how it feels: When I reach a solid 199, the Diana Prince clothing will bust off and Wonder Woman will appear. Strong, capable, powerful and in full control. If I could just get past that 200 pound number on the scale. Sometimes it feels like I am crawling across the sahara, dry chapped lips, sunburned skin, foggy vision, mirage after mirage, just trying to get to real water. Like I have to work for it beyond what a human should have to do. I have to crawl on my belly for it. Suffer for it. But I know when I get to that water everything is going to change. Everything is going to be okay. I will live again as my true and rightful self. The struggle is real!
    Day 94 – 03/29 …..207.0…… A little closer to the dream! I wonder what kind of gift on the scale I can give myself by my birthday (May 10th).
    Day 95 – 03/30 …..207.0…… Holding my own. Spending today doing a car swapping game. Garage called and said the truck is fixed. Going to pick it up then drop off the car that also needs work. When it rains, it pours! Just glad to be getting it all resolved. I just hope it’s not too expensive as the money could be better used in my renovation. Besides, I just put 5,000 into them (including 4 tires) about 4 months ago. No, the vehicles are not too old or worn. One has 52,000 miles on it and the other about 108,000 miles. Not new, no warranty. Very small town, not much driving. Mileage is from mainly out-of-town trips. Ugg.
    Day 96 – 03/31 …..208.2…… Drats! No TMI today so that is the culprit. Meals were good yesterday. Movement not the greatest. Travel today for more renovation items. Got truck back yesterday evening and it seems to be doing good. Fingers crossed taking it on trip and hauling some heavy stuff so far!

The way that milk and cheese bloat me up, I’m beginning to think I may be lactose intolerant. I’m going to be monitoring this closely. I suppose we never stop learning about ourselves and the changes in our bodies over time…..

    @deepwoodslady - Appreciate the location info ... it makes more sense now when you talk about "going to town" or "traveling"!!! I hope that you can find a solution to your dairy issues. My goddaughter is lactose intolerance and takes lactaid before dairy. Besides monitoring you might want to check something like that out too. Also if recent then it could be a sign of something ... webmd :) but instead of worrying about those comments ... check with your doctor for their advice. Good luck! I know the grandkids love grilled cheese and it is hard for me to not make one for myself ... one of my favorite foods!

I’m not a chocolate person but the Russell Stover - Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Mix with Stevia (low net carb but still high calorie) is too tempting and I find I’m snacking on it too much when bored or stressed. I need to break this new habit.

Dull headache from the COVID vaccine that is just under the surface.

Lunch at Local Foods ate my favorite yummy Crunchy Chicken sandwich (oven roasted chicken breast, nut-seed crumble, crushed chips, lettuce, tomato, house pickles, provolone, buttermilk ranch, pretzel bun) with homemade chips and grapefruit as sides. But I ate only half which helped! That took willpower!

    Day 44: Sun, 2/7: 206.9 No exercise, shopping with DH @ C&W Meat for alligator sausage, Houston Dairymaids for cheese, SPECS for wine, Penzeys for spices, 1723 cal, 132 net carbs, 2 glasses of wine. Lunch at La Lucha's outside patio pharmacy burger & fries and then simple dinner.
    Day 45: Mon, 2/8: 206.3 Walked 3.2 miles, plank, 1797 cal, 26 net carbs, 2 glasses of wine. Kids over for lunch instead of our usual evening Super Bowl party. Quiet evening with DH after a nice long walk.
    Day 46: Tues, 2/9: 207.0 Walk 1.4 + 1.2 miles, 1504 cal, 79 net carbs, AF. Yummy fried fish.
    Day 47: Wed, 2/10: 206.6 Walk 2.4 + .6 miles, 1436 cal, 78 net carbs, AF. Still eating lots of carbs :( Need to break the habit of snacking on chips … oh and a heaping serving of rich mashed potatoes at dinner.

Dinner of leftover homemade chicken enchilada soup (skinny taste) with avocado. Decided no drinks for me which was double hard with DH drinking and reminiscing about his childhood.
    Day 49: Fri, 2/12: 207.4 Walked .9 miles rain & cold, 2293 cal, 168 net carbs, 3 wine.
    Day 50: Sat, 2/13: 209.3 No exercise, up too early then tired all day, snacked, fried chicken for dinner, cooking appetizers for the party. Not sure that the journal is accurate because it is missing items. 2 glasses of wine.
    Went back and cleaned up my food journal included ALL that I remember snacking which was a long list. 2506 cal, 124 net carbs.

    Well that was a complete runaway. The pounds go on much quicker than peeling off.
    This week is an example of what NOT to do to lose weight and how the pounds go up throughout the year if I give up. NOT giving up … this week will be different and the outcome will be in the right direction.

    Day 51: Sun, 2/14: 210.2 Walked 3.3 miles. This is how the weight spirals out of control. Fast food lunch, evening party with tons of appetizers & dessert + 3 glasses of wine.
    Day 52: Mon, 2/15: 209.3 Walked 3.3 miles. Started with breakfast of king cake and continued eating. We have snow on the ground this morning … a rare occurrence here. Today is a new day to make better choices.
    Day 53: Tues, 2/16: DNW Walked 1 mile. 2 glasses wine. Off kilter on journalling.
    Day 54: Wed, 2/17: DNW No exercise. 2 glasses wine.
    Day 55: Thurs, 2/18: DNW No exercise. 2 glasses wine.
    Day 56: Fri, 2/19: 210.2 Walked .9 miles. Winter storms in Texas, infrastructure failures for both electrical and water. House hopping, unplanned meals, stress eating, 2 glasses wine each night. Haven’t journaled for days, exercise routine has vanished and I’m up on the scale. I’m back home. DS, his wife and their dogs were at our house earlier this week until we too lost power. Then moved to my sisters where the water pipe burst. Fixed it. Finally my power is back on so able to move home. DS has power now and we fixed his water pipes so they were able to go home.DD, her husband and dogs are with us now until the water is repaired in their condo building. My mom’s flight was cancelled earlier this week but is rescheduled for Sat. DD & my 2nd vaccine shot yesterday has been postponed so waiting now for new schedule on that front too.
    Day 57: Sat, 2/20: 210.2 Walked 2.3 miles. 2228 cal, 76 net carbs. Started eating chocolates and even more carbs. 2 glasses wine + 1 rum & coke.

    Day 58: Sun, 2/21: 211.9 Walked 3 miles. 2506 cal, 316 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. My weight has gotten out of control. Today I’m going to focus on just one thing … 80 oz water. Then plan to build from there each day this week.
    Day 59: Mon, 2/22: 211.7 Walk 3 miles. 2045 cal, 136 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Targeting 80 oz water but drank 64 oz water yesterday. Today’s focus low net carbs along with water again.
    Day 60: Tues, 2/23: 211.9 Walk 4 miles. 1778 cal, 45 net carbs, AF. Drank 80 oz water, nailed net carbs. Today I add vitamins on top of getting my 2nd COVID vaccine.
    Day 61: Wed, 2/24: 209.6 Walk 3.4 + .6 miles. 1550 cal, 61 net carbs, AF. Very rough night … headache, arm sore, chills/shivering, achy all over, little to no sleep. Going to try to push through it today and walk the dog but likely will be back in bed trying to sleep later today.
    Day 62: Thurs, 2/25: 208.1 Walk .6 miles, gardened a little, 1754 cal, 132 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Slept! Long morning & afternoon naps. Think I’m fully recovered. Weight is also shedding those winter storm pounds.
    Day 63: Fri, 2/26: 208.8 @ fishing camp 🎣 No exercise, long drive to camp, 1937 cal, 107 net carbs, 4 glasses wine. Plan to walk, clean the camp house, clean up the plant damage from the freeze, and maybe if I’m lucky fish this afternoon. Mom is getting her COVID vaccine today so I’ll be here to monitor her, cook, etc this weekend. Remembered to bring my scale to the camp!
    Day 64: Sat, 2/27: 207.9 @ fishing camp 🎣 Walked .5 + 3.6 miles, deep cleaned camp inside & out, no fishing. Still need to do some gardening. Mom had no symptoms last night after her vaccine. She is just tired.

    I let the winter storm issues really mess up my weight loss success last week. The 205-206 slipped away and I'm back up where I was at the beginning of 2021. Time to turn this boat around.
    I need to quit losing the same pounds over and over. If you are tired of starting over, STOP giving up.

    Day 65: Sun, 2/28: 208.2 @ fishing camp 🎣 Walked 3.6 miles, more gardening cleanup and fishing but caught nothing (huge kill of fish and turtles out on the laguna after the winter storm). 2024 cal, 93 net carbs (this included mini blue bell ice cream sandwich & small baked potato), 3 glasses of wine.

Validating original plans and contracts for DD’s 1 year anniversary party in April as a follow up to the wedding last year that went from 150 people down to 10 during lockdown. Stressful since there is much to do and the photographer just backed out.
    Day 69: Thurs, 3/4: 206.7 Walked 3.4 + .6 miles, bike 20 min, 1989 cal, 44 net carbs, 1.5 glasses of wine. Afternoon of Tostitos feeding stress. Need to break that habit.

    Day 73: Mon, 3/8: 206.8 Walked 3.1 miles, gardening, 1900 cal, 127 net carbs, 1.5 glasses wine. Love leftovers day when the last couple evenings have been yummy! Indulging in ice cream 2x = more carbs. Today I'm shopping with my daughter for her outfit for the 1 year anniversary party ... and my own as well. It will be interesting going into stores and trying on clothes.
    Day 74: Tues, 3/9: 207 Walked 1.2 miles after shopping 16300 steps, food journal incomplete, 1 glass wine.

    Day 76: Thurs, 3/11: 207.7 Walked 2.9 miles, food journal incomplete, 1 glass wine. TODAY IS THE DAY … I get back into focusing on me and quit stressing about everything else. Goals: Low carb, 80oz water, AF, NO ice cream or choc, and journal everything.
    Completely lost it this week ... the stress of shopping Monday and then the planning for the anniversary party took over my life. Very little walking the dog, very little meal planning, and lots of stress eating & drinking. See if I can turn it around starting Thursday!

    Day 79: Sun, 3/14: 207.0 Walked 2.6 miles, 1567 cal, 92 net carbs, AF. Lazy day. I took the day as a mental break and accomplished 3 things: grocery shopping, my walk, cutting DH’s hair. Otherwise I dreamed of vacations (created a wish list with DH while we dined at an outside restaurant) and searched for European River Cruises and Backroads Active Travel Adventures. My sister is on spring break so we are running the roads and I’m still stressed with party planning, deadlines all week, meetings to meet with vendors, as well as hosted book club over zoom.
    Day 82: Wed, 3/17: 208.1 Walked 1 mile, shopping for dress, 2031 cal, 131 net carbs, 1 skinny margarita lunch with sister, 2 wine dinner. Need to reel myself back in and focus on me first before stressing for the day.
    Day 83: Thurs, 3/18: 207.6 Walked 2.4 miles, 1500 cal, 99 net carbs, 3 wine. I need to shake this stress fog I’m in and get focused back on a healthier lifestyle.

    I’ve got to figure out how to deal with the stress without eating and drinking! This will be a VERY BUSY week … DD’s 1 year anniversary planning, meetings with florist, day of coordinator, the venue. Plus I am hosting both of my book clubs via ZOOM Mon & Wed night (no wine please). Then another in person meeting Thursday evening. Need to also finish clearing all the dead plants we lost in the freeze as well as cut back grasses and iron plant that looks terrible. My sister is off for spring break and wants me to shop with her for rugs while I still need to find a dress for the anniversary party. Then headed to the camp next weekend to meet up with our son & his wife to fish.
    MY PERSONAL GOAL: Take time to walk! Plan my meals! Drink water. Reduce snacking & alcohol indulgence.

Chipotle salad for lunch and my garlic cauliflower mushroom skillet at dinner had more calories and carbs than I expected. Progress … it is the little things - Cleaned clothes out of my closet again :)

    Day 17 - 01/11 …..207.0….. Whoosh. Bathroom duty was better. A wretched night last night filled with personal family turmoil. Bad sleep. Traveled today while so unrested, so we will see what tomorrow holds.
    Day 18 – 01/12 …..207.0….. I am very happy to see no gain after travel. I chalk it up to falling asleep early causing all my meals to be earlier. However, sometimes it shows up a couple of days later so I will be watching and tracking the patterns.
    Day 19 – 01/13 …..207.2….. A tiny fluctuation. I managed to increase my steps yesterday but I had to work for it. I added a two mile indoor walk to get me over the hump.
    Day 20 – 01/14 …..207.0….. Movie night last night. A very good low cal/low carb planned dinner but the snacks were off-target. I’ll eat better today but not much movement. Feeling tired…..
    Day 21 – 01/15 …..xxxxx….. No chance to weigh today. A friend woke me up banging on door. Yesterday was good but last night I had too many bad snacks.
    Day 22 – 01/16 …..207.0….. A complete rest day yesterday. In bed at 6:45 pm to watch TV until 3:00 am. Slept in this morning to get more sleep than I’ve gotten in months. Over 6 hours which is AMAZING for me. I usually just don’t seem to need more than about 4.5 hours. Maybe retirement will change my sleeping patterns for the better! Going for a 6 for tomorrow’s numbers!
    Day 23 – 01/17 …..206.8…..Finally a 6! Barely, but finally!
    Day 24 – 01/18 …..206.2….. 3 meals instead of 2 yesterday but no snacks. Finally TMI (bathroom duty). It helped. Now I am going to push for a 5.
    Day 25 – 01/19 …..205.6…..Yay! The meals still aren’t perfect but I am focusing on at least a 12/12 IF and a “very diet” dinner in a small quantity. I am still eating very late, but better. Focusing on sleep. Phone woke me up at 5 hours & 5 minutes today. I forgot to mute it. Still better than usual but I would have slept a bit more otherwise. I feel my body fighting me a bit. I woke up starving. I am listening to the cues. I had a bit of an early breakfast. I will keep my dinner light.
    Day 26 – 01/20 …..205.2….. Moving right along and hoping to keep it up! This puts me back to just below my starting weight. Now, to get busy!
    Day 27 – 01/21 …..205.4….. Just a small fluctuation. Yesterday was pretty busy. Ended up with OMAD and low calorie but not much exercise or movement. Lots of water though! I am still feeling happy and strong!

    Day 29 – 01/23 …..206.2….. I cooked a beautiful low calorie and low carb meal for my friend yesterday. Day was going great. Then……late night snack monster reared his ugly head. Pop-tarts and milk. It wasn’t worth a full pound gain by any stretch of the imagination. I will try to extra-tweak today to make up for it so that pound doesn’t stick around.
    Day 30 – 01/24 …..208.2….. This is not the way to get to Onederland. It’s not even the scenic route. Turning this train around so I can go in the right direction. Lost my way.
    Day 31 – 01/25 …..207.0….. I wish I could take credit for doing something wildly healthier and different but I can’t. Scale shot up yesterday more than expected and shot down today more than expected. Strange. I seriously don’t think, based on what I ate, that it was fluid retention so I am baffled but happy this morning to see a bit of a correction.
    Day 32 – 01/26 …..206.6….. I hope to make better choices today.
    Day 33 – 01/27 …..207.6….. I need potty duty and more exercise, both of which is proving impossible.

    Day 35 – 01/29 …..207.6….. Back down on hands and knees scrubbing carpets in my new home. Previous owners were extremely heavy smokers and very old so the entire house (all 3 floors) has not been thoroughally cleaned in YEARS! One room has blue carpet which appeared to be 100% completely green until I hand cleaned it then went over with shampooer. Doing around the edges where the shampooer struggles to reach is the hardest but I’m getting it done. With the process I’m using, each room takes 6 days so this will be going on for months. It is my winter project because spring holds so many things to be done! So I am burning the calories, for sure, but not getting in many actual steps. I just hope for continued progress in my journey as well as in my home.

    Day 40 – 02/03 …..208.8……Epic failure. I finished the banana nut bread. Bathroom remodel starts today which will make cooking difficult. I must be creative in my eating choices and be willing to cook later when I am so tired. I am still working on carpets. It will be awhile before I can breathe easy.
    Day 41 – 02/04 …..xxxxx…… Woke up running and actually forgot to weigh.
    Day 42 – 02/05 …..208.6….. Okay, let’s try this again!
    Day 43 – 02/06 …..207.2….. I can’t quite pat myself on the back. The day ended in lower calorie overall but the choices of quick frozen food was questionable. Not very healthy.
    Day 44 – 02/07 …..207.7….. Pizza with DD and DGS which is a rare occasion these days, especially with the pandemic. No formal exercise except chasing the 3 yr old up & down the stairs most of the evening! Back on track today.
    Day 45 – 02/08 …..207.4….. Better.
    Day 46 – 02/09 …..206.6….. I am expecting a high-sodium dinner so I am being extra careful today and will be drinking plenty of water.
    Day 47 – 02/10 …..207.2….. Hello Sodium! Traveling today too. Oh boy!
    Day 48 – 02/11 …..206.8….. Nearly ½ pound down after travel? I’m suspicious this is going to sneak up on me tomorrow since it hid today. We shall see. Keeping the faith…..
    Day 49 – 02/12 …..206.0….. Didn’t expect to see lower today honestly. Lots of water shed yesterday. Maybe I’ve lost that high sodium day.
    Day 50 – 02/13 …..206.0….. I am grateful for no change. I ate great healthy meals yesterday and then binged on snacks. And I do mean BINGE!!!!! I will be extra careful today to help make up for my bad choices last night.
    Day 51 – 02/14 …..206.4….. I have gained exactly 1 pound since the start of this challenge. Very disappointed! I did an experiment. I added up all the weight loss from day-to-day since Jan 1, 2020 to see how much weight I had lost because I knew I was losing the same pounds over and over. I have lost 103.8 pounds! However, my scale is showing a gain of 12.4 lbs during the same timeframe. Talk about self-sabotage! Something has to change!
    Day 52 – 02/15 …..208.8….. One meal yesterday. This is frustrating and very unfair.
    Day 53 – 02/16 …..207.2….. Weight coming back down. Grateful where I can be.
    Day 54 – 02/17 …..204.6….. Sodium likely gone. Great food choices yesterday. No exercise due to work crew. They are here again today.
    Day 55 – 02/18 …..204.4….. Very little sleep and some late night hunger so I am happy for this small drop on the scale.
    Day 56 – 02/19 …..204.8….. Good diet yesterday but very very little movement. On the computer most of the day with tax prep. Today is day 3 with no TMI so I think that contributes. Still no word of vaccine in my little town. They are still on the very first group here – Group 1A for medical personnel. We don’t have many medical personnel in our town so it is a lack of the vaccine itself. I just want to get this over with! I am group 1C due to diabetes and cancer remission.

    Day 58 – 02/21 …..205.0….. Grateful to have the same numbers glaring at me from the scale. My calories were okay yesterday but OMGosh on the choices I made. Horrid, Horrid little girl I was! Absolutely nothing fueling or replenishing about what I stuck in my pie-hole. That makes me feel gluttonous and (almost) childlike. I was a limited thinker yesterday. Today I will ponder before I put my greedy little fingers upon anything!
    Day 59 – 02/22 …..207.2….. I had a bowl of ice cream instead of lunch. I guess my body knows the difference and punished me. Nutrition matters.
    Day 60 – 02/23 …..207.2…… I refuse to spend 100 days making more better choices than not, move movement than not, more sacrifices than not and end up in a higher weight than when I started! I am expecting Chinese tonight (and leftovers tomorrow) for dinner. Pushing water. Skipping lunch. Diet alone isn’t doing it though. I need more movement and there is absolutely zero privacy here during this remodel. (And more remodeling coming.) I’m so tired at night but I have to fit something in!
    Day 61 – 02/24 .….207.5…… Chinese leftovers today so I don’t expect to see anything very nice or friendly on the scale tomorrow.
    Day 62 – 02/25 …..207.5…… Thankful that the leftovers didn’t kill my scales or my spirit. Using the stairs………..
    Day 63 – 02/26 …..207.2…… Yay, I put that Chinese behind me (which was a tasty treat) and had a low calorie dinner yesterday. I walked the steps but found I could only do it once at a time (very steep and I am out of shape). That is okay because I can just do it more often and build up my strength. Love the idea!
    Day 64 – 02/27 …..207.6…… Frustrated. It was the homemade sour dough bread from the Amish with butter. I should not have went back for that 2nd piece later last night. Extra stairs today!
    Day 65 – 02/28 …..207.0…… Although this was a nice overnight drop, I am up 1.6 lbs since the start of this challenge. My main goal now is just to get back to starting weight by the end. It sounds easy, but based on my stats, it won’t be. Focusing on this shorter term goal at this point may help.

    Day 66 – 03/01 …..206.6…… Hopeful I’ll stay smart & ready as each day comes. I fit in 20 minutes of dancing last night when I got a burst of energy. It put my steps over 11,000. So grateful!
    Day 67 – 03/02 …..207.4…… Bouncy Bounce. Snacks with milk. Why can’t I be like a normal person and have a snack with a glass of milk and not balloon up so much? Gosh I miss being in my 20’s
    Day 68 – 03/03 …..207.0…… Better and very pleased because I did end up traveling yesterday afternoon until later last night. I needed a Home Depot for some returns and some remodel shopping. The crew took the day off for some personal business so my son & I took care of our business. I steered clear of Chinese because I struggled all last week over one dinner. Instead I opted for my son’s pick….Applebees. I tried something new, the prime rib sandwich. I also had 4 boneless honey-BBQ wings. I left the fries on the plate and drank water with lemon. Sandwich was delicious. So glad I kept my cool. Down nearly half of a pound when traveling is a record for me!
    Day 69 – 03/04 …..208.4…… Maybe that travel/restaurant lunch caught up with me afterall. I dunno. I also had a SEVERE glucose drop last night. I kept my cool pretty good. A bowl of cereal with milk very late night did not help my scale this morning, but it did fix the symptoms. Aiming for a well-balanced day today. Tomorrow is travel out-of-town for my appointment with attorney. Time to update my will. I haven’t made changes since my husband died 5 years ago. My children are all grown since I originally made my will which changes things. Also, with the recent sale of my two businesses, it really needs to be done. I will try to keep any luncheon choices reasonable. I am not off to a very good start on my search for Onederland. But it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. #fightingthegoodfight.

    Day 70 – 03/05 …..208.4…… Small quantities but bad choices. Another glucose drop last night. This one was the type that makes you feel drunk. Woozy, unsteady on feet. Strange foot to floor sensations. Clouded thinking and judgement. High fall risk, must hold on to things because of staggering. Not as fast coming on as the feeding frenzy kind but something that has to be dealt with. Very cloudy vision. Strange thinking. Drunk is the only way I can describe it. This shows how out of shape my diet is (when too low calorie or carb puts me in this state). My body doesn’t want the (healthy) change. I will take it slow. Traveling today to work on having my will & trust updated along with some other legal matters. Lunch will be out-of-town. Everything is challenging right now.
    Day 71 – 03/06 …..208.4…… Traveled to attorney appointment yesterday to begin the process of updating my will, trust, power-of-attorney and advanced directive. Now I have some homework to do before my next appointment on March 17th. I had lunch at a restaurant in that town. I ate half and boxed the rest up for my dinner. I kept it reasonable but my snacks late last night are something I’m not too proud of. Glucose stayed steady probably because of the snacks. I hope to keep today better and that the meal out does not show up in a day or two on the scale.
    Day 72 – 03/07 …..207.6……Yay! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am, especially after travel! Today will be takeout pizza. No, I am not self-sabotaging (this time). After the work crew leaves today, I will be having takeout with my children as we hold a family meeting in regards to my Will & Trust. It will be a difficult evening so I am already stressing and I didn’t sleep well last night. I will try to keep portion reasonable and get in some pacing steps & stairs today while the work crew are here.
    Day 73 – 03/08 …..208.2…… Pizza straight to the hips! I will be better today.
    Day 74 – 03/09 …..206.8…… Meals light. Snacks…..Meh. I can do better!
    Day 75 – 03/10 …..204.8…… What a shock on the scale! I actually had another drunken sugar drop last night which woke me up from sleeping at 4:30 am. This is quite surprising because there is this time period during the night, (it has a name bug my cancer brain fog is preventing me from remembering it) when a T2D has a pretty big raise in their glucose numbers at night. So walking up to such a drop was uncharacteristic. I dealt with it with a pop tart and milk and felt pretty good pretty quickly. Of course, I thought that would ruin my weigh-in this morning and I was quite surprised to not see a bad affect on the scale. I’ll remain grateful today and try to run with the ball. I will be traveling later this week, perhaps Friday, for more building supplies. I am going to try to save up some calories and stay reasonable like I have the past couple of trips.
    Day 76 – 03/11 …..206.2…… Two pounds overnight I suppose was not realistic and my body adjusted. Still down 0.6 from 2 days ago. TMI would help but daily is not a regular thing for me so this probably affected the scale today too. I had a good day yesterday with meals and I increased my steps. Happy overall to be seeing a downward trend. I’ve just got to keep fighting the good fight, like everyone else!
    Day 77 – 03/12 …..207.0…… Dinner out last night. Family emergency today.
    Day 78 – 03/13 …..207.2…… My daughter and grandchild (3 yr old rambunctious boy) decided to move back in last night. For how long, I don’t know. A family squabble that will not resolve easily. I foresee some back & forth going on but time will tell. Lots of cooking and small meals for my grandson. Eating and schedules will be different. I am even curious how this remodel can possibly work out. Everything up in the air right now, but I see more steps coming (which is good) and lots of nice time with my family. Just difficulties with the food planning and diets.

    Day 80 – 03/15 …..207.2……Not doing well on the diet with the houseful of people daily. Between family moving in and the renovation crew, my life is upside down! Doing my best here but I just don’t have the space, the energy or the privacy I need to cook multiple dinners, lunches, etc. I already cook 2 different ones per meal due to my son’s autism and eating disorders. I’m not going to throw my hands up. I will find the answers.
    Day 81 – 03/16 …..207.0…… Okey Dokey. A touch better and in the right direction! Traveling tomorrow back to the attorney office finishing up some more Will & Trust. Lunch will be out. I will try to be thoughtful in my selections. I'm a little depressed today that I will have to fight a good fight just to get back to my starting weight at the top of this challenge (before it ends). So, I suppose that is my new goal. Maybe next challenge I can do more than just tread water.
    Day 82 – 03/17 …..xxxxx…… DNW. I forgot during the hustle and bustle of the morning prior to my trip. Lunch was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I kept my portions low, but my oh my, the carbs! I hope the scale will be understanding.
    Day 83 – 03/18 …..207.4…… Not bad after a pizza luncheon and a lack of activity due to being on a long car ride there and back and a 2 hour sitting appointment. Tonight we will be having the high sodium corned beef for our St. Patty’s day dinner we couldn’t have yesterday. Pushing water today!
    Day 84 – 03/19 …..207.4…… Grateful for no gain (so far) from the dinner. My portions were reasonable. It was nice to share a special meal with others.
    Day 85 – 03/20 …..207.0…… I am grateful for this after two days of salty corned beef and all the fixings! Pushed water so bad that I was up all night peeing, but I am grateful to see a loss. I have a birthday party tomorrow for my DGS turning 2. I can’t turn down cake and icecream so I am going to try to be extra careful today and Monday. That’s my plan! My starting weight this challenge was 205.4 and that feels a million miles away from where I am now. I know, in reality it’s not, but at my pace, it may as well be. A couple of good days in a row, (after the party and now that the holiday is over) and I could possibly get back there. That would be a great mini-goal!
    Day 86 – 03/21 …..208.4…… WHAT???? Love cal junk yesterday. Not healthy but well within calorie range. No TMI/Potty so playing that game again! Frustrating but typical.
    Day 87 – 03/22 …..207.4…… Left, Right and Upside Down. The birthday party was really nice but filled with junky food and treats so I’m a bit surprised at this drop. I’ll have to keep an eye on this over the coming days.
    Day 88 – 03/23 …..209.0…… My daughter brought Dairy Queen home from out of town. 2 chili dogs that tasted like a salt shaker and a medium Blizzard. Bloated me up this morning and I hope it is just temporary. I got in almost 12,000 steps yesterday. Over 5 miles on my fitbit and 16 sets of steps just doing housework and chasing DGS. But it was not enough to mitigate the damage.
    Day 89 – 03/24 …..208.8…… I’m being pulled into family conflict. Eating my emotions with the junk my daughter is bringing home. Plus, it is so easy to eat it when these renos are going on. Gotta STOP!
    Day 90 – 03/25 …..208.2…… I’m traveling out-of-town today for the 1st Covid shot. I am driving 3 others with me. Car-pooling since it is a bit far. Daughter handled an emergency with her father and did not stay last night. My weight went down!
    Day 91 – 03/26 …..208.8….. Travel weight. My first Covid shot was a breeze. It just couldn’t have been any easier. No pain, no side effects. Moderna.
    Day 92 – 03/27 …..207.6…… I put forth more effort. I’ll do even better today!
    Day 93 – 03/28 …..207.6…… Still dreaming of Onederland. Not this round, obviously, but soon…..very soon. I don't want to over-hype anything up and be disappointed later but I swear this is how it feels: When I reach a solid 199, the Diana Prince clothing will bust off and Wonder Woman will appear. Strong, capable, powerful and in full control. If I could just get past that 200 pound number on the scale. Sometimes it feels like I am crawling across the sahara, dry chapped lips, sunburned skin, foggy vision, mirage after mirage, just trying to get to real water. Like I have to work for it beyond what a human should have to do. I have to crawl on my belly for it. Suffer for it. But I know when I get to that water everything is going to change. Everything is going to be okay. I will live again as my true and rightful self. The struggle is real!
    Day 94 – 03/29 …..207.0…… A little closer to the dream! I wonder what kind of gift on the scale I can give myself by my birthday (May 10th).
    Day 95 – 03/30 …..207.0…… Holding my own. Spending today doing a car swapping game. Garage called and said the truck is fixed. Going to pick it up then drop off the car that also needs work. When it rains, it pours! Just glad to be getting it all resolved. I just hope it’s not too expensive as the money could be better used in my renovation. Besides, I just put 5,000 into them (including 4 tires) about 4 months ago. No, the vehicles are not too old or worn. One has 52,000 miles on it and the other about 108,000 miles. Not new, no warranty. Very small town, not much driving. Mileage is from mainly out-of-town trips. Ugg.
    Day 96 – 03/31 …..208.2…… Drats! No TMI today so that is the culprit. Meals were good yesterday. Movement not the greatest. Travel today for more renovation items. Got truck back yesterday evening and it seems to be doing good. Fingers crossed taking it on trip and hauling some heavy stuff so far!

    Day 99 – 04/03 …..208.6…… Very disappointed today as my breakfast yesterday was very light, my lunch was a small stirfry of veggies and chicken breast over riced cauliflower, my dinner was a fast grilled cheese. The way that milk and cheese bloat me up, I’m beginning to think I may be lactose intolerant. I’m going to be monitoring this closely. I suppose we never stop learning about ourselves and the changes in our bodies over time…..

    19.3 total loss over 4 rounds, 400 days. Round 5 loss 4.6. 23.9 pound loss over 500 days.
    I always reach for a 10 pound loss each 100 even though that hasn't happened.
    Day 1: 12/26: 137.7 - Extremely active day, but also ate quite a bit. 451 calories left over in the Green
    Day 2: 12/27: 137.1 - I have enough leftovers for a few days, stuffing and gravy is my weakness so I will load my plate with veggies and turkey and stretch out the badder stuff : - ) 561 in the Green
    Day 3: 12/28: 137.7 - I was awake throughout the night and weighed less just now, but am using my very early morning weight. 717 in the Green
    Day 4: 12/29: 137.2 - Back on track at least until NYE. 302 in the Green
    Day 5: 12/30: 137.5 - Hiccup yesterday, some sad news and went off a bit. 791 in the Green
    Day 6: 12/31: 138.3 - That is the highest that I have weighed in awhile. Not going to overdo it tonight, but I will have some Champagne and something delicious to eat. 384 in the Green
    Day 7: 01/01: 138.4 - I had Ribs, it might catch up more. I have had lots of activity, but also ate more than usual. 111 in the Green

    Day 11: Tues, 1/5: 135.4 - Many workouts yesterday, and back to healthier eating. A scale drop always motivates me to be "good". We all fight so hard for each pound, too easy to backslide and undo the hard work. 1354 in the Green
    Day 12: Wed, 1/6: 135.5 - Very long work day and a very late dinner. Burned lots of calories and didn't eat them back, hoping that shows up in a day or two. 1190 in the Green
    Day 13: Thurs, 1/7: 134.8 - New low : - ) All of this calorie burning is showing up on the scale. Work alone was 20,000 steps yesterday on top of my daily workout. 506 in the Green
    Day 14: Fri, 1/8: 134.1 - Lowest so far in many many years. Hoping to keep this going. 620 in the Green
    Day 15: Sat, 1/9: 135.1 - Kind of bad choices yesterday, but I touched that 134.1 once so I know that I can get back there. 721 in the Green

    Day 16: 1/10: 137.4 - Wow, almost back up to Day 1 weight for some reason. Hoping that this is just a fluctuation. I have been on track except for Friday (which obviously caught up to me just now), but even then I was under calorie goals due to activity. 831 in the Green
    Day 17: 1/11: 137.4 - Got in lots of activity yesterday because I was planning on a huge steak and prawns for dinner. This will fuel my body for days to come, but I want to get this number back down. 663 in the Green
    Day 18: 1/12: 136.1 - Better, still 1 pound up from last week. 668 in the Green
    Day 19: 1/13: 136.5 - I'm okay with this, but hope to get closer to last week's EW. 558 in the Green
    Day 20: 1/14: 135.8 - Sticking with the plan. Hoping to be able to leave work and get up to another town's arena for a 1 hour public skate today. 827 in the Green

    Day 25: Tues, 1/19: - 135.6 - Got in a few extra Fitness Marshall songs here and there 2 or 3 at a time throughout the day yesterday which added up to a nice calorie burn (and mood lifter) overall. 539 in the Green
    Day 26: Wed, 1/20: - 135.5 - I have moved all of my jobs from today to tomorrow. I am going to get out for a nice long walk/hike. Yesterday was incredibly windy with dust blowing everywhere when I tried to leave work for a small walk/break so I didn't spend any time outdoors. I had my 2 year physical early in the morning. Doc was pleased with my weight loss, but still needs me to lose more to bring my blood pressure further down and get me to a healthy body weight for my height. Working on it. Very slow. 526 in the Green

    Day 34: Thurs, 1/28: - 135.2 - Worked a super long day yesterday, I didn't get home until after midnight, but had to eat because I hadn't had anything since the morning. I thought that my weight would reflect the late eating and tiny amount of sleep. Glad that it didn't. 653 in the Green

    Day 51: Sun, 2/14: 135.6 - Hoping that the weather goes back to "normal" soon, outdoor activity tends to lose me more weight than indoor for some reason. Perhaps it is a chemical that only gets produced outside? 1144 calories in the Red.
    Day 52: Mon, 2/15: 136.3 - This will go up more, I had Ribs yesterday, so this choice will lead to the expected results. Glad that I stop myself from having them once per week like I used to. MFP says that I would be 144 pounds in 5 weeks if every day were like that. I have to keep with the calorie intake/burn in which MFP says that I will be 123 in 5 weeks if I eat like that every day. I had an entire day of calories extra yesterday, that will take a while to undo. I will work out extra today and eat frequently and light to try to mitigate it. 841 in the Green
    Day 53: Tues, 2/16: 135.3 - That is the quickest that I have bounced back from Ribs. It was a holiday yesterday though, so I had time for lots of workouts. Or maybe my body went into fat burning overdrive from the excessive calories the day before. 725 in the Green
    Day 54: Wed, 2/17: 134.8 - I have been working out and eating well since the Ribs. I have now made up for that day in the "Red" and am moving forward. Once in awhile "treat" takes a while to get back off. 717 in the Green
    Day 55: Thurs, 2/18: 134.4 - Worried about our friends in Texas with this climate change weather whip. 911 in the Green
    Day 56: Fri, 2/19: 133.3 - New low. I have been working my tail off this entire week to try to mitigate my overage from Ribs consumption. I have a nice steak and prawns for tonight's dinner, so will definitely need to get a bunch of activity in before that. 493 in the Green
    Day 57: Sat, 2/20: 133.5 - Not too bad after my huge bacon wrapped beef tenderloin steak last night. Pizza and drinks tonight though...138 in the Green

    Day 61: Wed, 2/24: 135.5 - Meal prep is done. Going to get a bunch of small workouts in today here and there. 997 in the Green

    Day 84: Fri, 3/19: 133.0 - Bit of an upward fluctuation after some lower weight days, but happy with it. There is some bonus indoor ice skating every day for 9 days starting on Monday, and it will be the last for the year. They didn't open in my town this year and the Kinnettes stood up and rented the facility for over March break to offer it. Perfect timing for our last days of the 100, expecting to lean out. Skating burns major calories, is super fun, and great for the mental/emotional health. Very excited! 474 in the Green

    Day 87: Mon, 3/22: 131.7 - Quite a drop. I had touched the 132s last week and 2 weeks before, first time seeing anything in the 131s! If I have touched it once I know that I can get back to it even if it fluctuates from here. I normally get up at 5am, and slept until 9am today, so that has probably a lot to do with the lower number. 809 in the Green
    Day 88: Tues, 3/23: 132.6 - Ribs some time this week and a close friend's birthday on sunday coming up, it would be nice to have a cushion. I already have limited Ribs to once per month, but I think that this time I am going to try have only 1/2 of a rack so that I don't have to "pay" for it for so much. Such little meat on 4 or 5 bones, but so fatty and very high in calorie. 132 in the Green
    Day 89: Wed, 3/24: 131.8 - Well, I had a 1/2 rack of Ribs, turned out to be 4 bones. It is really not the way that I like to eat Ribs. So now I have a 1/2 pack in the freezer (plus 5 full packs). I waited a month in between Ribs nights, a full rack will be back for next time. We'll see if the scale might catch up in a few days, it generally takes 3 days until things show. I had a great deal of activity, but the Ribs are so very high in Calorie that I had a very small deficit. I really need a deficit of 500 each day in order to shed weight, or at least an average of that. Back to chicken breast and 4 huge portions of veggies tonight. 994 in the Green
    Day 90: Thurs, 3/25: 132.7 - Ribs catching up (even though it was half, still a tonne of calories), but mitigating it with daily skating offered this week. 1088 in the Green

Day 6 in a row of it this morning, none tomorrow. I am going to be indulging this weekend with my bubble friend for her birthday. 467 in the Green thanks to skating.

    Day 93: Sun, 3/28: 132.8 - Up 1.1 from yesterday, and my friend wants pizza for her birthday today, so I will get in some extra workouts and a walk before that. I will keep it to 2 slices. 347 in the Green
    Day 94: Mon, 3/29: 135.2 - 4 final days of ice skating starting today. I need to get on top of this huge gain! 6 days left to right the ship. Going to try my darndest. 1271 in the Green
    Day 95: Tues, 3/30: 135.1 - 3 more days of ice skating including today, and then the season is over until October. Really hope to burn this off! 1512 in the Green
    Day 96: Wed, 3/31: 132.8 - I burned off more than I ate yesterday! 14 hour workday, burned over 900 just on my pedometre from that, and adding my morning workout and ice skating to the tracker might have been the most that I have ever burned. Very little time for food, I didn't get dinner until almost midnight. 2 days left of skating, and we will see how my body catches up. Four more days of the 100 friends. 713 in the Green
    Day 97: Thurs, 4/1: 132.3 - Last day of skating today : - ( 630 in the Green
    Day 98: Fri, 4/2: 133.8 - Ouch - 2 days to make this number change lol. 936 in the Green
    Day 99: Sat: 4/3: 133.7 - Disappointed with this, still waiting to see the effects of 2 weeks of daily skating. Right down to the wire for day 100. Nevertheless, down 4 pounds from my start weight even though I truly expected to be less than this. 799

    Excess Calories left over in the Green (Deficit): 6198 - Almost enough to lose 2 pounds, but I gained somehow.

    Day 100: Sun, 4/4: - 133.1 - Final of of this round. I would have liked it to be less of course.

    Challenge End Weight: 133.1

    Total loss over 100 days = 4.6 pounds - Average 1.3 pound loss per month argh. This will take at least 4 or 5 more rounds of 100 to hit my optimal BMI.
