Loving life. I need to stow the pool cover and shingle the shed roof but today, I’m loving everything I’ve built for myself and happy I could do a little something for others yesterday and today.

You don’t gave to post what you did but maybe if you do it will inspire others.

I planted 2 roses (Queen Elizabeth, which is a baby-pink and Rio Samba, which is yellow streaked with red), planted six canna bulbs (mixed colors) in a washtub out back of my sun porch, and put some columbines and creeping phlox in another washtub in the curve of my front walk. The people we bought the house from left the tubs there with flowers in them, so I might as well use them.

And now I'm drinking tea and praying to all the gods that my back won't take offense to the work today. It's not exactly right in the lower spine and it doesn't like me doing stuff like shoveling dirt.
