We ALL have good rounds and bad but that is part of life. Don’t stay away, stay accountable. We don’t judge, we support.-Jpv,2/13/19

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.

4/24 118.0 It’s all good. I walked a lot (for me, since COVID) yesterday. Shopping at Walmart and over to the clubhouse for my first in person arts and crafts group in over a year! My new Garmin has been shipped.
    4/25 118.5 Still good.
4/26 118.5 Eating out with friends 4 times in the last 3 days -UGH. I’m looking forward to fasting this week and some TMI! Friday-fried potatoes, Saturday-fried shrimp with sriracha sauce, Sunday-Greek salad and 1/2 pita. Too many carbs but it hasn’t caused ever increasing bloat weight. And finally TMI success! My new Garmin is supposed to arrive today.
    4/27 117.5
4/28 117.5 Finally figured out how to sync the new Garmin. I wore it on my wrist last night when I spent over an hour at the grandgirls Senior Expo but I was holding something in my left hand so only got credit for 748 steps. So back to my ankle it goes!

    1st timer for 10 day (number 148)
    Day/Weight
    04/22 179.
    Today only vegetables and eggs
    04/23 178
    04/24. 180.6 HOW and WHY😭
04/25. 179. Back to the beginning😟 BUT I have SIX more days to bring in a WIN 👍
04/26. 178.6 eating raw vegetables dipped in hummus for dinner and actually very nice low effort dinner
04/27. 179.4. Thought bacon and mikes hard lemonade wouldn’t be that big of an issue- I was sooo wrong😳
04/28. 179.8. This 10 day experiment is really forcing me to shine a light on my eating habits
    It isn’t magic
    Too many calories =weight gain
    Fewer calories= weight loss
So I am forced to face the fact my counting is wrong 😑
04/29 179.2 this is how YEARS are wasted dieting bc I lose and gain back the same pounds over and over but not this time! I am going to try and finish strong and work harder (count calories more accurately) on round 149😊😊❤️
    04/30 178.8
If I can get to at least one pound of loss then that’s one pound closer to 50😀
05/1 179 no loss at all
Will work harder and be more accountable

I am a 20 year old college student who recently let themselves go over quarantine as well as the freshman 15 and I'm hoping to lose some of that weight before my third year roles around. My overall goals over these challenges are to better my relationship with exercise and food while losing some pounds in the process

    Round 146: -5.1lbs
    Round 147: -0.3lbs
    SW: 181.1lbs
    CW: 175.7lbs
    GW: 160lbs before August 2021

    Day/Weight/Comment
04/22: DNW due to broken scale. New one due to come on Sunday,
04/23: DNW. Hoping to see some big losses once the new one comes!!
04/24: DNW. New scale comes in tomorrow but I won't be able to weigh in the morning like I usually do, so tomorrow's total may be high.
04/25: 174.4... not bad considering this was done mid-day after two meals! It'll be interesting to see what tomorrow mornings weight will be.
04/26: 173.2... great, now if we could just hit 171 I'll officially hit 15lbs lost from my heaviest. The last few pounds always seem to be the most stubborn.
    04/27: 173.6
    04/28: 172.4...so close to 15!!
04/29: 172.4... hoping to drop a couple more in the next few days and get a low total for this round
04/30: 172.2... I had a REALLY bad eating day today so I'm hoping it doesn't put tomorrow's final score up by even more.

22: 198.0 Slight rebound gain after 40 hour fast, followed by regular 8 hour eating window yesterday.
    23: 197.6
24: DNW 🥚 Out of town. Ovulating week, so probably an increase for another several days.
25: 200.3 🥚 I'm glad that I understand and can track how my hormone cycles affect my weight, but having 2 of every 3 rounds revolve around that is a bit frustrating. I'll be fine, just feeling a little grr about it at the moment.
26: DNW 🥚 Left early for daughter's suffer games
27: 204.0 🥚 I feel gross today. Part hormone weight. Part gorgeous weather/day drinking/bar food weight. Glad today is my long fast day.
28: 198.4 🥚 Expected a drop, but a little surprised by this. Maybe a little post-fast rebound tomorrow.
    29: 200.3 🥚

    SW 4/4/21 155 lbs.
    Long Term Goal 135
Short Term Goal 139 by mid May 2021
Method = calorie counting, avoid sugaring, and I round off my weight to the higher pound (I don't chart half pounds, etc.)

OK, "I'm IN" for this round. My first to participate. My short term goal of 139 by mid May is likely too aggressive, so if I can't accomplish it, I won't be worked up about it. I am being careful to not overly short my calories.

    Round 148
    Day/Weight/Comment
    04/22 148
04/23 147 By the way, I round off my weight to the higher pound, so it's not really like I actually lost one pound in one day.
04/24 147 I had a terrific day of "being full" from eating lettuce salads topped with delicious vegetarian chili. That makes a satisfying meal! MmmmMmmm.
04/25 146 Like I said before, I round off my weight, so it's not as big a loss as what it seems. Also, I know that if I step on my digital scale three times in a row, it will show 3 different weights! Anyway, I'm going with 146 today, but predict that will be the same number for quite a few days now.
04/26 146 I think I must not have slept well last night, I was zero-energy all day today. I'm finishing up all my nightly chores, so I can zone out and enjoy some hot herbal tea later.
    04/27
04/28 I've been fighting a headache, so didn't feel well until tonight, so I am at least logging on.
04/29 146 I'm stuck here, and going to accuse my scale of messing with me! haha
    04/30 146
    05/1 146, so ending with a 2 pound drop in 10 days.

You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.
    Female, 5’3”, 60
    2019 SW: 245 BMI 43.4 (1/2/2019) Lost 15 lbs in 2019 then regained 5
2020 SW: 235 BMI 41.6 (1/1/2020) Then back up to 241 before refocusing in Aug
    2021 SW: 212 BMI 37.6 (1/1/2021)
    GW: <200 in 2020 BMI 35.2
UGW: 165 BMI 29.2 Overweight NOT Obese

My goal for 2021 is to get into ONEderland and make it stick. Changing my life.
    Plans:
🔹Find workout routine that works (walk, bike, planks, yoga, swim, take advantage of retirement to be more active); target walking 100 miles each month
🔹Drink more water (target min 64-80 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
🔹Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP since 12/28/2018; basically skipped June-Dec 2019; recommit 1/1/2020; skipped out April-July 2020; recommit 8/6/2020)
🔹Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)

4/22 207.3 Walked 2.73 miles, a little gardening, 2162 cal, 168 net carbs, 1 glass wine. Lots of running around today in town … mom caught her plane home, checked on DD’s condo (plants & packages), fast-food lunch then Grimaldi’s pizza for surprise dinner with DS & his wife.
    4/23 206.3 Walked 1.4 + 1.5 + 3.4 miles … lots of dog walking! Gardening digging up bushes. 1520 cal, 36 net carbs, 2 glasses wine.
04/24 206.7 Walked 2.3 + 1.4 miles, 1381 cal, 86 net carbs, 3 glasses wine. Sister stopped by for dinner and more than usual bottles of wine opened. Definitely a TGIF.
04/25 208.1 Walked 1.6 miles, 1967 cal, 158 net carbs, 1 Little Sunday Cocktail + remaining 1/2 can Vinny New York Bubbly Wine, 1 glass wine. Virtual cooking class with Underbelly Hospitality making mac & cheese with pork & smoked bacon sausage. Rich foods … scale was not kind to me this morning.
04/26 207.7 Walked 1.5 + 3.2 miles, gardening replacing bushes (bruised the ball of my foot), 1378 cal, 68 net carbs, AF. Very active day. After dropping off DD’s dogs DH and I went out for dinner Ragin Cajun … yummy fried shrimp but switched the french fries out for grilled veggies. I avoided eating what DH & I usually get shrimp poboy and shrimp & crab gumbo which both of those are loaded with carbs.

04/26 - 198.2 I sort of expected this. Mondays are usually pretty bad, and I had a pretty bad weekend food wise (though activity wise it was a bit better).

04/27 - 194.0 This is a weirdly big drop. I assume because I've been so off track over the weekend that there was also a fair bit of water retention going on. Feeling like I'm a bit more on track now - went for a long walk yesterday and a run this morning.

04/28 - 192.6 So I went for a run yesterday and kept below calories, but this is still a bigger one day drop than I would expect. I'm treating this a bit like the drop you get early on in weight loss which I know is probably mainly water weight. I've really struggled to stay on track in April, though, so seeing some positive numbers on the scale is a really good motivator.

04/29 - 191.8 Under calories and moderately active yesterday - I was back in the office for a day. This meant being reasonably active. I forgot how many steps I get in just walking to and from train stations, walking out for lunch and walking around the office. But being in the office is a challenge food wise - the vending machine is right there! And walking back to the train when it's a few hours after lunch, and I'm at least an hour away from dinner, it's SOO tempting to just stop at a shop and pick up lots of chocolate. I didn't bring any healthy lunch and hadn't had breakfast. Potential disaster. But I had a lunch involving a sandwich, some crisps and some chocolate all at around 500 cals, and then just ignored the vending machine as best I could. I did have a chocolate bar on the way home - but stayed under calories for the day.

04/30 - 192.6 The big drops were too good to last. I was under calories yesterday but only by 200 or so, and not terribly active. Still 5.6lbs lower than I was on Monday, so pretty happy.

05/01 - 192.6 (a bit late to post) - below target for the round, which did not look possible a week earlier!
