need help to loose weight type 2 diabetes

Hello,
I am wanting help from anyone that has been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and needs to loose some weight.
I am scared of going it alone.

    carol i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in august of 2018, my a1c was 10.4. i was 70lbs overweight and my cholesterol was high.

    i'm now sitting at an a1c of 5.4, my cholesterol levels are excellent, and i'm almost 80lbs lighter.

    you can do it! it's very scary at first but you can do it. this place is great for support.

    I was diagnosed with T2 in 2019 when I was hospitalized for the flu/pneumonia for 9 days....my a1c was 11 something .... I was on insulin, metformin and other medication.......fast forward to today .. I am off all meds for diabetes ...my a1c is 6.2 ...I usually eat keto (taking a break since I can't meal prep due to having my 2nd hernia surgery a week ago today) I have lost 50lbs so far ....
