    My goal for 2021 is to get into ONEderland and make it stick. Changing my life.

    🔹Find workout routine that works (walk, bike, planks, yoga, swim, take advantage of retirement to be more active); target walking 100 miles each month
    🔹Drink more water (target min 64-80 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
    🔹Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP since 12/28/2018; basically skipped June-Dec 2019; recommit 1/1/2020; skipped out April-July 2020; recommit 8/6/2020)
    🔹Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)
    🔹Drink less alcohol (3 AF days per week; ~12 AF days per month; limit 1-2 glasses per day)

Our first monthly gathering in over a year. Plan is to limit myself to one cocktail and find something sort of healthy on the food menu.

    5/7 209.1 Walked 1.6 + .6 miles, ? cal, ? net carbs, 1 whisky + 2 wine. Totally not unexpected WI today given that I had pasta & garlic bread dining out. But WOW that is a jump! Need to drink water today and keep to lower carb options!
    5/8 208.6 No exercise but ran myself ragged cleaning, decorating, shopping, cooking and prepping for a mimosa brunch shower this morning that I’m hosting. ? cal, ? net carbs, AF.
    5/9 209.2 Walked .6 miles, ? cal, ? net carbs, lots of yummy quiche, cheese grits, banana bread, cup cake, fruit, etc and 1 mimosa at brunch then AF mimosas + 2 glasses wine with fried chicken dinner + 2 glasses champagne watching movies. Not my best day! I can do better.
    5/10 208.8 Walked 1.4 miles, ? cal, ? net carbs, AF! Leftovers for Mother’s Day brunch with AF mimosas plus more fried chicken for dinner. Today is Monday the start of a new week … I will clean up my act!

    @southkonahi Perhaps consider what those calories are coming from. 1200 calories of meat and broccoli is not the same as FUEL as 1200 calories of chocolate. I, personally, cannot eat potato or grain products- fries, baked, bread, cereal, pasta, etc without the reaction I experienced last week. Find what works for you and what you find sustainable.

    5/2 115.0 Surprise! We had “Thai-Chinese” for lunch yesterday-NO RICE. Veggies and beef.
    5/3 115.5 I made and ate buttered popcorn last night.
    5/4 115.5 Donated blood yesterday. Forgot to take a healthy snack with me. Going to Outback with neighbor ladies for lun-net today. Haven’t been there in YEARS!
    5/5 116.0 Ate half of my small steak and half of my “loaded” baked potato. I was satisfied and not stuffed. I LOVE that the outside of the potato skin is covered in salt!
    5/6 116.5 Yesterday should have been my fasting day but I ate the leftovers from Tuesday.
    5/7 118.5 🤷‍♀️Greek salad with gyro and 1/2 pita - I ate the whole thing, it was all I ate all day. OMAD but 3rd high carb day in a row and up 3# in 3 days! I know it will go back down.

    Doing better not wonderful. Had a very light workout today. very light. slow walk today. Gained some weight. It started the previous week so not blaming the injury at all. See you next round.
