Hello everyone. My name is Shawna. I am a 29 year old first time mom to a nearly 1 year old boy. His birthday is on Friday and now that he is officially 1, I am going to start weaning from breastfeeding and figured it is the perfect time to get started on my own health. I started my pregnancy at 270, lost about 30-40 lbs during my pregnancy, but gained it back and then some in the last year. I got on the scale this weekend and it read 298 lb and I couldn't believe it. I refuse to let that scale hit 300. I've used MFP with some success before so here I am again to give it another go!

You can do it! I was amazed how much weight I gained during breastfeeding over what I gain during my actual pregnancy... it was depressing but we can lose it and be the best Mommies for our little ones by taking care of ourselves!
I hope you find success again and I want to be there to help you and get to know you!

Hello! I'm a married, full-time working, momma of two boys, 2 and 8 months. They keep me on my toes and I fell like I am starting to sit on the sidelines when it comes to play time. I have struggled with my weight all my life and after 2 c-sections and very little exercise these last couple years I am in the worse shape I've ever been in. I want to be an example for my family and I want to be involved in every area of my kids lives so sitting on the sideline is not an option. I don't want my weight to hold me back anymore! I'm really looking forward to this accountability and I hope I can find a few people to help keep me accountable and to connect with.

    Hi gals! I'm Stephanie ;)

Momma of two, 7YO and 2YO. Married, full-time corporate accountant B)

I lost 26lbs back in 2010 and bought LOTS of super cute things at my tiniest. Now I stare longingly at the cute things and want to wear them.

I have 50+ to lose now.

I am (otherwise) super healthy, but want to get back to my goal weight so I can feel more comfortable in bathing suits and can get back to some particular outfits!

Tell a bit about yourself and what are your reasons for losing weight and getting healthy?

I'm a 33 mom of two and I need to drop 60lbs. I'm 5'8" 232lbs and just sick of waking up sore with swollen hands. I'm joining because I need the extra push of accountability

Hello! My name is Rebecca. I'm a mom to 5- 15, 13, 12, 8, and 7. I will be turning 38 in November. I am trying to get healthy so 1) I can be a great mom and 2)have so much energy, I'm bouncing off the walls. Then there's all the cute winter boots that don't fit my legs that I want to wear so bad. I have 100+ to lose. I'm 5'2" and weighed in at 270 at my last weigh in. My goal is to be at 150 or less.

Colorado girl working from home since the beginning of quarantine. I lost over 30 lbs several years ago and gained it all back since moving back to Colorado in 2013. I topped out at 190 after having my son in 2007 and I can't believe I've gained all the weight I lost back. Ready to get real and reclaim a healthy me. Quarantine has added the bonus of making my only fitness options the great outdoors. Lucky for me, I have a national park 30 minutes away and so much to explore. Each outing gets me closer to my fitness goals. Each hike with a lower heart rate and more steps keeps me motivated and eager to find my next great outing.

Hi everyone! I'm Jen, 48 year old Mom of three kids (ages 19, 16, 12). Six years ago, after staying home with my kids for over 10 years, I decided to return to my career -- I'm a Teacher Librarian (library media specialist in my state) in an elementary school. To prove myself (mainly to myself), I threw myself into my work, which has led to lots of eating out, relaxing and entertaining myself with food. This last year (pandemic) and a new job (closer to home) hasn't helped, and I've gained up to my highest weight (same high weight as when I was pregnant). Now that I'm close to 50, I realize that a weak body is not supporting my knees or my feet or my overall health. I'm realizing that, if I am to manage my weight for my health and life, I have to do the work. That's why I'm here. (Always looking for new friends, so add me).
