Pass day number 3! Only a few days now so I should make the Winners Circle.
I’m late checking in – but was so tired last night!
We had a birthday to celebrate – my youngest grandchild is 5 today! My daughter hosted lunch, we had a bbq followed by birthday cake. I decided not to try to log the lunch food, but actually I only had one chicken drumstick and 3 small sausages with lots of salad. The potato salad and coleslaw did include mayo but, on the whole, it was probably not too calorific. The birthday cake however, was a different matter – plenty of butter icing!
I did get some exercise – 10 minutes cardio before breakfast and a walk in the afternoon.
It was our first “celebration” since my son died (her daddy) but we got through it without too much sadness. My DIL and I had a chat while tending the bbq but the birthday girl didn’t seem upset during the day.

@MadisonMolly2017 and @clutterqueen, I have volunteered to be a cheerleader for Wednesday July 21st. I have realised though that as I am ahead of all the American members, I shall actually have to do the job on the Thursday (and possibly Friday to catch up with late posts). It’s OK, I’m at home for a few days then.

Exercise: No. I chased and was chased by a 2 and 5 year old for most of the day. But I was more the slow moving monster trying not to really want a nap right there on the floor. We made a fort out of blankets and I was so tempted to wrap myself up in one and close my eyes.
Pass days - so I have decided my marbles are green for yes days and orange for pass days. I have more green than orange so all is well. I will not be in the winner’s circle but my clothes are starting to fit better again. I was worried that I might need to go up a size but I am back on track.3 -
