Walking and weight work out
@biketheworld Thank you for the thoughtful post. Consistency is always a big thing for me since I often lack it. If I were to declare anything it would be a commitment to consistency. Nothing exciting or sexy but just the day in/day out of consistency. I could achieve a lot with this.6 -

@biketheworld, wow excellent post! Thanks for being honest and posting. I’m definitely going have to listen to that podcast, 👍
1. Hiding or shaming ourselves doesn't fix the situation. When we show up and share, we admit that we're not where we want to be, and that's where transformation happens.
2. 99% of people pull back and hide because they want to wait until it gets better before they show up and share, thinking they have nothing worthy to offer.
3. When you show up and share you're struggling, it gives someone else permission to realize it's OK to do the same.
4. Consistency - not perfection is what leads to success. Being consistent is more important than all else.4 -
It's a yes x 3 for me today. Spin class.6

I know this is probably not going to be the best month for me in regards to weight loss being with family (I'm not really trying to lose this month - I'm just hoping not to gain). My intention is to track everything and post everyday no matter what.8 -
@biketheworld Thanks for your wonderful and transparent opening post.
I really resonate with your words, especially, "Consistency - not perfection is what leads to success. Being consistent is more important than all else."
I'm delighted to experience this new model of the UAC. Involvement by more participants greatly increases the number of insights and the positive emotional energy.
Thanks to @Mrs_Hoffer too!6 -
I had a really positive day.
Why?
The weather was great. I finished and delivered two legal analyses.
The painter at our house is finally done.
We still get to enjoy the presence of our West Coast adult children and their spouses for the next two days.
I had another 3 yes day with a nice margin below my calorie limit.11 -
@biketheworld - great opening post. ❤️
Exercise: 45 min class.
Calories: Under.
Tracking: On point.
Pass days: 5 used as I just came back today.
It’s good to be back.
Spark notes version of the last few weeks: I’m mentally ready to get back in it, which was helped by how crappy I felt after letting my eating get away from me. Feeling so much better today now that my food is in check. Also got through several medical tests fairly unscathed that had been stressing me out. (I DID learn I’m allergic to the contrast fluid they use for CAT scans the hard way. That was SUPER fun!) Summer camp is possibly the best thing ever for my kiddo, who is programmed for constant activity not sitting at a desk all day. We have a stupid frog named Stu that moved in under our water slide by the pool, will not leave no matter how many times I move him under the deck, and gives zero sh*ts that we exist around him or about my lectures on how bad chlorine is for him. Stupid Stu. 😑
On that note I have loads of catching up to do with everyone’s posts!

Found my daughter a basement suite that she loves...it has a really bizarre layout but my daughter is bizarre in her own way...perfect for her!! Only had to look at 7 places...LOL
I too am a grazer...I tried to shut it down but found I was looking around to make sure no one would see me a sneak something...It was crazy!! So grazing is aloud again...I just have a rule of only grazing in my fruit and veggie bowl that's right inside the fridge. I log everything in the AM and when it;s gone it's gone. But I always check it to make sure there's enough left for TV hour...9 -
@MadisonMolly2017 - “#NeverGiveUp” - love this!
