Hey Everyone! We are back at it again with round 9!

Congratulations to those of you who stuck it out till the end in round 8! It is a long, but amazing journey and our daily habits can help us achieve our long term goals. We are so proud of you!

This challenge is a 100 days of weighting in daily. This is where we track our fluctuations on a day to day basis to see which foods, activities, & movement make the scale move in the right direction.

Day 1 will be on Wednesday, July 14th & Day 100th will be on Thursday, October 21st.

Feel free to start whenever you want. Jump in and join even if you didn’t start on Day 1.

The rules are simple:
1. Set yourself a goal of what you want to weigh on Day 100 and work towards getting there for the next 100 days.
2. Weigh yourself daily, unless you can’t (you’re away from home or not near a scale).
3. Don’t get discouraged by fluctuations. Use this as a time to understand your body.
4. Log your weight on here every single day. Feel free to share how you feel about your weigh in as well.
5. Encourage others, including yourself.

    Ultimate Lifetime Goal: Weigh Less Each Year Than the Last
    2019 SW: 245 BMI 43.4 (1/2/2019) Lost 15 lbs in 2019 then regained 5
    2020 SW: 235 BMI 41.6 (1/1/2020) Then back up to 241 before refocusing in Aug
    2021 SW: 212 BMI 37.6 (1/1/2021)
    UGW: 165 BMI 29.2 Overweight NOT Obese
    🎯 Mini Goals & Weight:
    * 50 lbs lost never to be found: 195
    * Obese stage 1 BMI 34.9: 197
    * Onederland: 199
    * Weigh less than DH: 200-204 TBD since he is losing weight as well :) ✔️ Not the way I planned to hit this goal. DH is up due to foot injury and so I slipped below his 207: 206 (April 2021)

    🔹Drink more water (target min 64-80 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
    🔹Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP since 12/28/2018; basically skipped June-Dec 2019; recommit 1/1/2020; skipped out April-July 2020; recommit 8/6/2020)
    🔹Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)
    🔹Drink less alcohol (3 AF days per week; ~12-16 AF days per month; limit 1-2 glasses per day)

    71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... :D...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

    Hi I'm new to this challenge, just jumping on in! I'm in Australia, so my timing might look funny (early) compared to others.

    Also, I recently learned that you can remove your old posts by clicking on the flag under your post and selecting Report, then choosing the option that says "This is my post and I want to delete it". So what I'll do for this challenge is use the quote button (removing the quote tags), edit and then post, and then go find my last post and request its removal. Then I'll only ever have one active post with all the history right here :smile:
    There's no reason to delete previous posts. This thread would be pretty empty and boring if everyone did that!

Came too close to an alligator! Wow that is a strange & disappointing jump up on the scale this morning! Could sweet potato fries do that much damage at lunch?

    Day 01 – 07/14 …..196.0….. Ouch! Starting a bit higher than I’d hoped for. No proper TMI since last weigh-in. However, I know the peanut butter filled pretzels with those big chunks of rock salt on them didn’t help. I know I am retaining fluids. No proper pee either. Sorry so graphic but all of that does make a difference. Today I am taking my son and his friend for a short trip out of town for the Dairy Queen. I will keep my meal small and try to get in some extra steps later today. Water….water….water…. So nice to see some newbies to the challenge! Welcome! Good luck everyone.     This is my 7th round on this thread: Round 1 loss 3.7, Round 2 loss 2.7, Round 3 loss 8.9, Round 4 loss 4.0

    24.8 pound loss over 601 days.
    I always reach for a 10 pound loss each 100 even though that hasn't happened.
    I keep track of calories left over at the end of each day, in the Green on the MFP tracker. My aim is 500+ average calories in the Green each day (deficit) - this would lead to a 5lb loss over 100 days.

    History & Goals
    2017: Weighed around 275 lbs, had a cancer scare and started IVF
    2018: Successful IVF on our third transfer, gave birth in December to a healthy baby boy
    2019: Returned to work, gained progressively, weighed around 300 lbs
    2020: Hit my highest ever weight of 305 lbs, decided I could not let this continue and rediscovered MFP. Lost about 15 lbs and finished the year at 293 lbs.
    2021: Ups and downs but slow and steady progress, lost another 20 lbs so far this year.

    I have a goal ladder that helps me stay focused on teeny tiny little milestones.
