Seeing a man with a tattoo on his arm is sexy . 😍

What is not sexy is seeing so many tattoos that it becomes a hot mess . 😱

...And just for the record - tatts on women?

You all had to know I'd ask this!

I have none, I appreciate tattoos - artistry and/or personal sentiments. The story

I have a personal 'thing' ... but I deleted my ramble and will not entirely derail tis thread!

I for one believe that tramp stamps need to make a comeback

but the stamp has definitely fallen out of vogue no?
all to be replaced in popularity with feet tats, or worse yet- the upper back/shoulder tat, or even worse still- the finger tat.

Definitely not one to ask what's in vogue, don't know and don't care lol

I do look at a lot of butts though, and there are still a lot of butts with designs of some sort up above it.

I've seen two finger tats that I thought were funny. The teardrops and the mustache. I'm sure if I had any clue as to how many of them there are I wouldn't think it quite as funny.

Also fine, and more a question of the design/quality of work than anything else.

I find it odd that this is a question. Is OP from a very conservative country? Or a small religious enclave in a remote mountain village? Is he a lot older than he looks? Or am I the odd one? Many of the men I know have tattoos. Many of them have many tattoos. Many of them are financially successful and many of them are attractive.

@Doug_T what triggered this question homie ??

I am not a fan, but its not a deal breaker either. Except neck or face tattoos.

    Thats just EWWWWW.

    @JessD9031

So, what about a 'Hello Kitty' neck tattoo??

You know, like one where she's wearing only a bikini.

    ( I'm asking for a friend. )

I don't mind them (find them kinda cool actually) and if I wasn't 63 I would have a small one on my ankle. The ones that people have on their face and neck though scare me. What's that going to look like when they are 80 years old! Yikes!

    That's just silly.

I mean seriously, I can't picture Dora in a bikini.

(although, to be fair, I really have never tried.)

I'm usually curious to see what kind of tattoos people have. It makes no difference on my life if the cashier has a tattoo, nor anyone else who is helping me in a business setting. The only thing that matters is they were friendly and helpful.

I've thought off and on for two decades about getting one, but then I get squeamish about the pain involved and drop the subject from my mind, until months/years later I see a random tat and again feel inspired to think until I think about the pain yada yada yada. (My son has multiple and tells me the pain is nothing compared to what my mind is envisioning, and far less than I endured when I broke a tooth in half from a popcorn kernel.) Very cyclic, and therefore never gets done.

My wife wants to get a tat, her concern isn't the pain involved (she's given birth four times, three of them without any painkillers at all), but for her what's holding her back is deciding on the design. She'll get her heart set on one, then see another and start a massive internal debate over which she would prefer, and round about the time she has settled on one of them she'll see something else...

I like them, but it's something where some people have good body art, well placed and balanced, and other people who....don't. It's a way where you can tell if someone has good taste (or taste that complements yours) or not.

I have a full backpiece of the Green Man. It surprises people who don't know me very well.
