    Waste not want not. Sometimes you just need a good wood that’s been used and abused a little. Sometimes it fits the project better than a brand new shiny wood tbh.

    I like the steak/chicken/shrimp on one skewer and the veg on another because they don't cook at the same rate. After about three I just throw the chunks in cast iron to sear since the novelty has worn off by then
