A little rainy this am. Gotta go in to clinic to do a couple of things and check on a spinal trauma case. Dog probably got whacked by a bear up side the head if the narrative given by the owners is true.

Yep. Use a cheapo set of insoles first, Dave. Hope it works.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

We got enough little drops of rain that I could feel them on my face while we walked yesterday, but that was it. I guess they measured a couple hundredths of an inch in Seattle. Our drought continues. Nothing else on the horizon. There is even another 101 degrees forecast for late in the week. Crazy summer.

Made a vegetarian curry for supper last night that was pretty good - lots of eggplant and snow peas from the garden, along with tofu I browned first. Plenty of leftovers for tonight, too. I also baked a big loaf of zucchini bread that I am enjoying. That one won't be a regular - way too much sugar and oil in the recipe. I'll probably gain 2 lbs. eating it.

    Good Morning!

So far this morning, we have .04 inches of rain, but a little more is coming. It has been dry here, too.

I lost 1.8 pounds this week. Considering that this was the first full week on the BP meds, and that at one point in the week, I was up 3 pounds, I feel victorious, and like I lost 5 pounds this week! I am working hard to reduce sodium, and caffeine. My over all calorie consumption is down some too. I have not been hitting the snacks, especially the salty snacks.

Tonight, I plan on cooking Kansas City strip steaks on the grill. At the same time, I am going to grill up four chicken breasts that I plan to use in lunches this week. It is impossible to purchase low sodium precooked or frozen chicken breasts. I like how MFP tracks your sodium and other items like that for you. I am still using Noom, but tracking food here for a bit. My exercise specialist wants me to track for a week, then let it go for a week, and then track for a week, so that it does not become such a chore, and focus more on the nutrition and less on the score keeping. I have been doing much better about bringing my own lunch, and less hitting the vending machine, and/or going out for something really healthy like gas station pizza or gas station burrito.

    Virtual church this morning.

    Have a great day!

Yeah supposedly 3/100 of inch to maybe 5/100ths of a inch in PDX. Just a few drops here but not 1/100th of inch.
Yup crazy hot here too later this week.
    Off to WW meeting

    Good Morning

I remember rain…barely. Our air quality is deteriorating with the horrific Dixie and other fires inland so we have stayed in as much as possible. Combined with the heat it is pretty gross out there for activity. I was under the weather anyway and had to take it easy. Another go at reverse searing a Tri tip tonight. Not sure what else the day has for us
