    Good evening,

Fell off the planet this weekend. Too hot too smoky felt very little umph to do anything.

Lana- I dont know what will happen to those who have not been vaccinated - that part has not been explained. Losing ones job vs personal health/freedom is a tough one and I hope things can be worked out.

Welcome newbies - start slowly. My new project is to make sure my dinner is one meat with at least 2 vegetables so the after dinner snack - a - thon stops. The snacks and ice cream are not to be replaced/refilled.

Smoke is dangerously bad and I had an N95 mask on just now. Needed to get my steps and have been inside too much.

Lana find your weak link for eating and work on it.

Wishing all a good night. Stay safe and sane out there.

Missy - holy crow! - Look at you! You poor thing....you will have to sit over near Lynn so the Cabana Boys can take extra good care of you both.

Sara - so sorry to hear that the bad air continues.
I don't have a weak link, singular, for eating. I have poor mental health that I struggle with every single day; I do the best that I can to remain on the path of self care. However, it doesn't take much sometimes to knock me down. I do pull myself up every time though, so far.

Welcome to the new peeps. Waving to Tracy in Tennessee and Lynn and anyone else who pops by today 🌴

I can walk on it only when wearing the boot but I’m finding it’s hurting more after walking on it obviously. I probably should have stayed home but trying to save PTO

    Good evening,

Missy I missed this!!! glad you are not in a cast but still. Hope the "downtime" is not too long.

Cooler here and there is a very welcome steady breeze.

Boss is enjoying taking pot shots at me - I just stay out of her line of bad karma. She is doing it in front of others and in writing. Not too swift.

Glad work day is over and there will be a nap.

Stay safe and sane out there.

Will find out more today at orthopedic doctor. Just hoping that it doesn’t require surgery.

    Hello!
Good luck at the Dr. Missy! I too hope you can avoid surgery.
Sara- you boss is really a pain in the ___ . That is a disgusting way of doing business and is emotionally not ok to do employees. I am sorry you have to endure.
Lana - good morning! Hope the fog clears.
Waves to all! Have a great one!

    Quick drop by.

Doctor's office called with my results from last week. Referring me to a rheumatologist. My ANA Titers were really, really high.

Maybe I can get some answers and an oil can for the Tin Woman's joints.

I promise this is a good thing. Validation that I am not a hypochondriac.

Yay good news not a bad break at all 3 ish weeks with boot. Can start walking after a week, should take 6-8 weeks to heal. If it still hurts at week 6 have to go back. Shouldn’t have to miss both jobs.

    Good evening,

    Missy great news and phew!

Tracy - love it when the medical system makes you think it is in your head. Glad you can see a specialist.

Lana - walking has always helped me with the "brain fog".

Smoke real close and is back so while we have a light breeze, I am staying inside tonight. Not too happy about that.

Chicken breasts and no inspiration on how to cook. Must be time to browse the cookbooks.

Wishing all a good night. Stay safe and sane out there.

Sara - I saw some news this am on fires near Sacremento. Unbelievable. Take care of yourself!
Lana- hope the fog has lifted.
Waves to all! Have a great one!

    Hello everyone.

Well I've been MIA from MFP lately. I've gained about 5 pounds and have been eating ice cream and not been wearing my apple watch. I've been so busy finishing up my huge renovation that I just haven't been putting in the effort to track or even think about being healthy. There has been a lot of fast food and crap in my house and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I need to do this. I'm sooooo close to onederland, I'm only 7 pounds away. That was my main goal when I started this journey was to make it there and I just gave up before I even came close. I have about 280 posts in this group that I haven't read or seen, and I probably won't be able to catch up on all of it but I'd like to say that you are all an inspiration!!

    So here's to day one.

I’m starting day 1 all over. In the past year I have gained 25lbs. I’m getting married in a year. I have to get my head straight and lose weight. I can talk about food and gain weight ugh. Send me all the motivation you have because I’m on the struggle bus.

I missed posting here yesterday. I got up in the morning to get ready for the Wednesday walk with the ladies, but I really felt "off", and I had some vertigo. So I actually had gotten dressed, and I drove to the Meetup. I said hello, but just did not have the strength, so I went back home. It was already 80 degrees and very high humidity at that time of morning, so I would have wilted right away if I started the walk.....
Today seems a lot better. Jeez.

Missy - that's good news about your leg. 👍🏻

Tracy - it's good to get answers about physical problems! Hurray 🎉

Jordanna - so good to see you again 👋🏻

    Welcome to Gettin Fit 😊

Sara - Hang in there with those dang fires - take it easy

Lynn - how are you coming along? Are you still using crutches or cane?

    Good evening,

Lady at Cafe gave me a can of Gardein Gumbo - Gardein is a vegetable based plant protein that makes meatless fish/chicken/hamburger patties etc. I did not know they had canned goods. Took one look at the sodium content for one and my eyes almost popped out (that is for the Gumbo). Will go and see about their meatless patties over the weekend. Check for sodium content not all of them are that high.

Still dealing with smoke and will for probably more than another week. Muddle through it somehow.

Wishing all a good night. Stay safe and sane out there.
