    @zichab I'm happy that you are feeling better. One evening one of our meteorologists taught the viewers that there is real science for why we can get aches and pains or headaches when there are changes in the atmospheric pressure because of rain or other weather systems coming in. I don't get migraines, but I do get low level headaches and other symptoms.

    My goal for this month will once again be to just to keep moving as much as possible by using the rebounder & the Gazelle, walking indoors, or in the yard/garden 🌞 🌷 🐛 if I can get out there in the early morning 😅. July was such an all around struggle, so I'm also hoping for a better August.

    @texasgardnr I grew up listening to my great-grandparents complain about how the weather made their arthritis worse and my grandparents would always discount that as an "old wives tale." May be they were really on to something and my grandparents were the ones with the "old wives tales!" :wink: My migraines are usually triggered by stress and sometimes, red wine, but I have not had either of those in weeks, so it kind of took me by surprise. I am glad there is real science behind the pressure systems as it explains the ones where I cannot find the trigger. Henri is supposed to hit Long Island on Sunday, but the low pressure is supposed to stay off the coast so hopefully, it will stay away from us in the Northwestern Mountains!!! :confused:

    I got 5 walks in this week. Most of them were very slow And only 30 minutes long. But I am going to keep working on trying to get one in daily to get the habit going again. Hope Everyone in the storm path Stays safe 💝

    Today I got another step closer to finally being done with getting a tooth implant. Started in January. 2 more procedures and I will be done. I have heard of people having their whole mouth done. I can't imagine that right now. It is not for the faint of heart or wallet. Not sure how many of my dentist kids I'll be sending to college but it's got to be quite a few. Oh well, there are advantages to doing it vs. not... so I will quit complaining and spend more time praying I won't ever need another.

    Hey everyone.

    2 intentional walks and 3 naturally physical days with steps over 4k where I slept well! Earlier in the week I struggled with sleep and anxiety. Waking up in a panic at 3a and couldn't go back to sleep sort of thing. I've been meditating before bed for over a month and come off sleep medicine to only use melatonin now.

    Saw my masseuse this weekend and that felt good. She recommended daily stretching and and lifting to help my back pain by strengthening those muscles. Does anyone use a particular video series for gentle beginner lifting with 2-5 lb weights?

    So I've developed a fairly aggressive plan for September goals:

    Check in daily to MFP for exercise and food diary and weigh weekly

    Only 1 Cup of coffee daily then decaf/no caffeine tea the rest of the day

    Sign up for Leslie's walk at home plan and try a month of daily walks with her

    Buy myself a little weight set and find a lift video to use a few days a week

    Get 2 massages (already prescheduled!)

    Stretch and yoga every night before bed and then continue meditation at night before sleep

    Well that was a bad week now wasn't it! It never ceases to amaze me how a couple of bad days can grow into a bad week!!! UGH!!! Anyway, it is over now and I am back on track and getting a plan ready for Sept!!!

    @AnnofB My DH has an All on 4 implant for his entire set of top teeth. It took over a year to get through all the surgeries because the posts kept coming loose. He finally got 4 good posts and a spare and he loves his teeth. He had dentures for a couple of months and HATED them, but you are right, we also put our dentist's and oral surgeon's kid through college as well!!! $$$$$$$$$$$ :smiley:

    Well that was a bad week now wasn't it! It never ceases to amaze me how a couple of bad days can grow into a bad week!!! UGH!!! Anyway, it is over now and I am back on track and getting a plan ready for Sept!!!

    @AnnofB My DH has an All on 4 implant for his entire set of top teeth. It took over a year to get through all the surgeries because the posts kept coming loose. He finally got 4 good posts and a spare and he loves his teeth. He had dentures for a couple of months and HATED them, but you are right, we also put our dentist's and oral surgeon's kid through college as well!!! $$$$$$$$$$$ :smiley:

    Glad to hear that after the post thing was fixed, your DH had a great outcome. I only had the one tooth done, but I keep thinking that with time, there will be one here and one there and that will just be a real headache. Yes, lot's of $$$$$$. 😁 -used that emoji cause it had the most teeth.
