Hello everyone! I am Cindilp from Sparkpeople. Thank you for the welcome. I had MFP in the past, but didn't use it much. I did the 5% Challenge on Sparkpeople and realized this morning that it's time to get started again.

Former Spark People person here too!
I bailed not long after they announced their closure, because I didn’t have the heart to ride it out to the bitter end.

I mostly like it here. Some things are different. Takes a little getting used to.

I can definitely recommend the Spark People groups. And a few others.

Once upon a time there was a Walk to Rivendell group on Spark People. I am seriously considering starting one here. I have all the mileage markers along the way, and with the new Lord of the Rings series that’s about to drop, it could be a lot of fun.

Hello, I'm pretty sure that I already introduced myself here. I'm Heidi (hicim705) from SparkPeople and I also was fortunate enough to get the same MFP name. We are starting a new 5% Challenge on MFP toward the end of the month ... if anyone is interested, please message me and I can give you the information.

I've been on MFP for years - but NEVER active. Once SP announced their closing, I became more active here ~ I like the site and hope to have found a 'home' here.

I am a former Sparks person too. I had lost from 235lbs to 199lbs over on that page. It was difficult starting over on here. Because on the page it only has me having lost 10 lbs. There is no way to edit to my weight lost or graphs from over there, so it is almost like started my diet all over again. I do like My FitnessPal, but it has taken some getting use too. I have now lost an additional 10 lbs, so only 30 to go.

@ravenlady4va I edited my weight to show the pounds I lost on SP. I forget how exactly. I changed my starting weight, or the date. I'll check and get back to you.

OK. Go to settings, edit diet profile, change your starting weight and starting date to your SP information. Good Luck!

I joined MFP in 2013 after tracking on Livestrong for a few years. I was able to go back an enter a weight from 2010 that was my starting weight and actually added a few benchmark weights from Livestrong. Hope that works and if not, check with Betty who is one of the admins (her name is in the Message Boards Introduce Yourself.

I was able to change the date on my progress in the mobile app. I went to the progess tab and then the plus button at the top. I changed the date to my beginning date and added my beginning weight. Now it shows all my weight loss to date.

Hi! I’m jumping over from SP too. I spent 6 years in the SP Community and am so glad to have landed here at MFP. I was really worried about the transition as I really need the accountability of daily tracking of food. I am not able to rely on intuitive eating. I overeat. It’s great to see so many SP Alumni here!! Keep on tracking friends!!

I don't know if you will find Daisies in here but you might find them in a group. Whatever group they were in would be posted a few remarks up on the page by MargaretYak... Good luck finding your teammates.

I'm part of the BLC (Biggest Loser Challenge) Team and we moved our whole challenge over here to MFP. It was quite an undertaking but we got almost all of our people over here to continue our challenge team. We just started our BLC47 round. There have been some glitches as we are learning about MFP but we're making it work!

If any of you want to join us, we have a special team for late joiners. We've created a Registration Team for sign ups. Here is a link to our Registration Team:https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/140750-the-blc-biggest-loser-challenge-registration-team

We're always looking for new friends! mx2xnmugyh2b.gif
