    This week was rough on a lot of us, for a variety of reasons. And yet, regardless of the magnitude of your struggle this week, look at how many of you showed up and got your steps in! We all have a limited amount of energy, and sometimes we need to devote more to the basics than we normally do. This does not mean we are anything less than our best, it just means that our situation is not the best for us at the time. Grant yourself, your surroundings, and all the people around you, some patience.

    It's very well put, and inspiring to read. Thanks Minstrel!

    ... Also there is some water retention involved. I went to bed with my rings loose and woke up with them squeezing my finger and almost impossible to remove.
    I also suspected that last weeks weight was a fluke-onwards and no more w(h)ine!

    That sounds like water retention to me! I'm only allowed one glass of wine...

    September Week Three

    Weigh In Day: Wednesdays
    PW (Previous Weight): 170.0 (September 8th)
    CW (Current Weight): 168.8 (September 15th)
    LTD (Loss to Date): 65.2 lbs

    NSV: I keep getting compliments on how my back looks during spin class. I guess I'm developing muscle tone back there. And since it's hard to see your back properly, even with a mirror, and especially while flexing... I have to take their word for it.

    But yeah, this is basically bringing me back to September Week One, and that's perfectly fine by me. Pre-Labor Day, I was doing great, and was on top of my routine. Here's hoping I can stick with my routine this week, despite several planned social events this weekend... I'll let all of you know how it goes.

    My step count will be way down this week. I got the Covid booster Tuesday, per Dr advice, and slept most of Wednesday and again today. Yesterday was better and I hope its over. I have too much to do to sleep all day! I started the next cross stitch project Tuesday but obviously haven't got much done. I actually had to takes some out and start over because I turned the fabric sideways. That would have been a disaster as its 100+ stitches wider than high! So glad I caught that as soon as I did.

    I think I'm going to go for excused this week. The month of Sept is generally a hellpit at work and this week...well. I've had a ton of work, too much stress, an exciting vertigo episode (3 hours lying on the floor at work is not cool). Nope. Just chillin', don't need more stress.

    Weigh in day Saturday

    PW 171.0
    CW 171.8

    Not bad for being stuck in this house eating all the foods. Lmao. Not counting steps this week covid quarantine. I didn’t get much. I’m doing fine. I’m not over it yet. There’s an upper respiratory infection and an ear infection still hanging on. But the cold sweats and heart palpitations were gone after 2 days.

    I’m vaccinated and I still got it. Maybe to a lesser degree, idk. Where I work 12 of 13 of us tested positive one is asymptomatic (she got thr J&J shot, the 3 with moderna have about what I have. Some unvaccinated got over it quickly. Some did not. 🤷‍♀️

    We are still waiting on weigh-ins from:
    Earlier this week
    @Kaken21 - Tuesday
    @IDebraK - Thursday
    @1theresamcvean - Friday

    Today
    @MayLan
    @Stud47

    Be sure to get your weigh-ins or requests to be excused in ASAP! Numbers are crunched tomorrow morning and we would hate to mark you as a non-weigh-in.

    If you have already said something, please let me know what's up. I am human, I miss things from time to time. Just poke me a little bit and I'll take care of business.
