    My name is Donna. I am 61 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, a touch of high blood pressure, some osteoporosis and am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.


    CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 171.8
    CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM August 31, 2021): 186.8
    CHALLENGE ENDING WEIGHT:


    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    I TRY TO WEIGH ON THE 1ST AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH ALSO. I HAVE MADE THE GOAL OF LOSING A LITTLE MORE IN SEPT AND OCT AND KEEPING IT A LITTLE LESS THROUGH THE NOV AND DEC HOLIDAYS (AND BAKING SEASON.) I THINK THAT 15 POUNDS OVERALL IS A MORE REALISTIC GOAL FOR ME ESPECIALLY SINCE I LIVE IN A VERY SNOWY AND ICY AREA AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISE ARE DIFFICULT AFTER OCTOBER 1ST. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I GET AND STAY AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS I WILL SHARE ALONG THE WAY. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! I AM ROOTING FOR YOU AND SUPPORTING YOU ALL 100% WE CAN DO THIS!



    Sept 02: 185.2 (Trend Weight: 187.5) I’m starting late. I want this challenge because I am determined to not let the cold weather months and all the major holidays put me in a weight-gain situation. Thanks for offering this challenge. I will be supporting you all 100%
    Sept 09: 188.8 (Trend Weight: 187.9) Wow. Emotional eating still packs on the pounds, even if it doesn’t seem fair. A very traumatic death this week in my extended family, my own health scares, plenty of travel and a well that stops pumping water. There is more, but I think you get it. But we all know that eating with all caution to the wind solves nothing, right? Traveling today but I hope to get in more movement and less food in the coming week. I’m not perfect, folks, but I’m determined. I am happy to meet you all!
    Sept 16: 185.2 (Trend Weight: 187.8) A good day yesterday. More windows cleaned and I’m almost done with that calorie burning project. Travel today. Clearly I won’t make goal this month but turning this ship around as fast as I can after an emotional gain. Sept 23: 187.6 Horrible week for me. Meals have been kept good but the snacks are killing me and the lack of exercise is not good. Lots of reasons for the lack of movement (too many to even mention) but I’ve got to get creative in my situations and make some extra movement happen! More travel today. Ugh!

    Oct 01: 187.0 Not such a good start. I had a binge last night, in all honesty. Today I will try to compensate for that. Good luck everyone in October.

    Oct 07: 185.6 Much better! I worked harder at my dietary choices, even if I was in the green. In this upcoming week, I hope to monitor how which foods are affecting me and the scale, even when I’m within my goals. I hope to learn a little more about how my body responds.

    We just post them in here, weekly! You decide on your own rate of loss, and pick a weigh-day and best of luck on your journey! You could copy somebody else's post, where they have already typed in the dates, or just type them in yourself. I post my starting weight and monthly goals, but not everybody does. Does that help? I like these long challenges because you are bound to see progress!
