    10/1 - 206.4
    10/2 - 206.2 (11605 steps yesterday and while I tracked every bite I had a special meal out so I always tend to make sure I overestimate when that happens... looks like I was successful in doing so since I saw a loss today)
    10/3 - 206.6 (18883 steps yesterday as I golfed 18 holes and walled the course. Had another meal out so the slight uptick isn't surprising.)
    10/4 - 207 (13060 steps yesterday - tried HIIT for the first time, got out for a walk, and did my yoga)
    10/5 - 208.4 (11011 steps yesterday, did a nice hike of Tunnel Mountain in Banff National Park, later supper and lots of sodium)
    10/6 - 208.6 (14954 steps yesterday, we got to Kananaskis Nordic Spa in the mountains and had a lovely dinner out last night and then today we spent the day at the spa - couples massage, steam rooms and pools, 11 hour car trip tomorrow to my dad's house so it will be a more sedentary day tomorrow I imagine)
    10/7 - 207 (10042 steps yesterday, controlled day of eating and it paid off on the scales. 11 hour car trip today but I started the morning with exercise.. still hoping to make my 10K steps, wish me luck!)
    10/8 - 204.8 (8880 steps yesterday, fell a but short but considering I was in a car for 11+ hours and the end of the trip was a visit with family and a large meal, i will take this massive weight drop!)

    10/9 - 204.4 (8961 steps yesterday, a bit harder to hit my 10K goal while I'm on holidays but still making effort to do so! Just so happy to see yesterday's drop is holding)
    10/10 - 206.4 (12820 steps yesterday, we had Chinese food.. enough said)
    10/11 - 206 (5264 steps yesterday, had Thanksgiving dinner #1 and was happy with how it went)
    10/12 - 205.6 (7819 steps yesterday, Thanksgiving dinners are officially done and I lost weight on the trip.. woo hoo! Looking forward to getting back to my normal activity levels but I had a great time visiting family.)
    10/13 - 204.6 (10991 steps yesterday, we drove 11 hours to get home but I was then able to ride the bike and take my dog for a walk.. feeling good settling back into my routine.)
    10/14 - 205 (16023 steps yesterday, chose to walk to my eye doctor and rode the Peloton. Still feels good to be back in routine. Going to the mountains to hike today for our last day of vacation.)
    10/15 - 207.4 (21615 steps yesterday, long hike in the mountains with an elevation gain of 700m. It's my first day back to work today after a long vacation and I couldn't sleep! I weighed in much earlier than normal but I always do it first thing so the result appears to be a bit wacky. Moving on!)

    10/16 - 205.4 (9910 steps yesterday and my first day back to work. The last few days is exactly why I weigh daily!)
    10/17 - 207 (13508 steps yesterday. Felt good about my choices, body is definitely in some interesting fluctuations right now.)
    10/18 - 205.4 (19290 steps yesterday. We did an insanely beautiful hike. We live in such a beautiful place. Today we are watching our Bills play.. snack type dinner but still below maintenance calories. Tomorrow is our 2 year wedding anniversary πŸ’•)
    10/19 - 205.4 (10085 steps yesterday. Had a fun dinner while watching the Bills game - kept it under control but broke my deficit slightly. Today is our 2 year wedding anniversary so I've set my calories to maintenance - 10% to give myself a little extra for the special occasion.)

    10/21 - 202 (10346 steps yesterday. With this drop I am officially now in the overweight BMI category. Happy to kick obesity to the curb and move into this next phase of weight loss!)

    10/8 - 223 Will perform two of Chloe Ting's fitness programs on YT and K.O. with 5 quad exercises ranging in 3 sets x 10-15 reps
    10/9 - 227 The most movement I did was bring a fork to my mouth:/
    10/10 - No weigh-ins, no workouts...just vibes:pensive:
    10/11 - Debating on weighing in during my cycle, I usually gain 3-10 pounds in water weight. Weight lifting about 10-12 reps x 5 sets for 5 exercises. (Deficit Deadlifts, Standing DB Overhead Shoulder Press, Seated Arnold Press, Lying Leg Curl, Back Extensions), followed by a HIIT workout for cardio and finishing with 10 min sprint on the treadmill.
    10/11 (Evening) - After saying I was not going to weigh myself, I did it anyway. Let's just say...the scale had me crying all mf'n night. hehe. (234 yikes!!!!):'(
    10/12 - 229...a lot more acceptable but I may need to adjust something in my routine. Push day in full effect with either running or indoor cycling for HIIT
    10/13 - 228.60 The water weight is slowly but surely leaving my body. I am increasing my water intake to speed up the process. It's a small dent but I'm not 229 anymore so that's a plus.;)Glutes/Hammies/Inner thigh day so I plan to leave the gym with baby giraffe legs. Hehe jk...but no really no progress has been made in days. :angry: I feel like a cruel joke is being played on me by my body and the scale. This is very discouraging because I should be focused on moving and taking a break from the gym but I'm so nervous the scale will skyrocket if I steer away from my schedule. I'm going to meditate so I don't let this consume my thoughts all day.

    October 6: 74.4kg I am feeling really motivated today. Between reading this page and the posts over in the "What surprised you about losing weight" group, I am determined to get back on track. My main goal for today is to get in 10000 steps and eat within my calories.

    October 7 74.3kg Got in more than 17000 steps yesterday and also did a T25 (beach body) workout. Unfortunately, I messed up all my hard work last night with some late night snacking. That is something I will definitely be working on this month.

    October 8 74.1 Ended up getting my step count in last night by walking back and forth in my apartment for 70 minutes since the weather yesterday was not great for walking outside. Also managed to stay under calories even though dinner was french fries and gravy (only ate a small portion since I was craving them so much). The biggest thing for me was that I managed to slay the late night snacking beast yesterday. Feeling very motivated today to keep going even though I am feeling very under the weather. Typically, this is the kind of day where I would just throw in the towel and say, eh I'll start again when I am feeling better. But not today. I will spend the day relaxing and reading the very motivating message boards here on MFP instead!

    October 9 73.3 Feel like this is a drop due to water loss. I have been drinking a ton of water. I will cross my fingers though that this stays

    October 10 73.9 This was a bit expected. Did some late snacking on popcorn due to being up and out later than expected. Ended up eating some of my exercise calories back due to unexpected events happening during the day and having to make the best choices I could on the fly. Considering I didn't track my food until I got home around 10pm, I think I did alright for the day.

    October 11 73.3 Back to where it should be. Probably would have been lower, but I made the mistake of eating a slice of Sbarro pizza without looking up the calories first. My lunch ended up being 1000 calories, which is basically all of my days calories!! Luckily, I had only a small, light breakfast, and then only had some salad for dinner with a tzatziki dressing. Managed to com in just a bit over my allowed calories for the day, but made up for the overage with 177000 steps, and some cleaning and a bit of core work. I will not eat anything again (at least anything like that) with out logging it first!

    October 12 72.7 I actually jogged yesterday for the first time in a couple of years! It was amazing.

    October 13 72.7 Had some late night popcorn at a friends house while watching a movie. A huge NSV for me though. I measured out 175ml of white wine and used it to make myself 4 spritzers mixing it with bubbly water with a bit of all natural flavoring. Delicious with the added benefits of limited calories and no hangover the next day!

So today, I am picking myself back up and getting right back into my healthy eating style. I will not fail at this this time!

    October 21 153.6 Went a little over on calories yesterday, but happy with my progress. I expect the weight-loss to slow a bit now. I always lose a few pounds the first week.
    October 22 153.6 Had a hamburger cooked on the grill last night. Stayed within calories, but went way over on fats.

    October 5- 214.8- not sure how I gained since I was under in consumed calories and burned at least 800 in workouts. Hoping it’s just because of lack of sleep since I was up really late with a puking 3 year old 🀒
    October 6- 213.8 - alright that’s better. I stayed with it yesterday vs getting frustrated and giving up
    October 7- 213- I had a great day yesterday! Hoping I can carry that through the weekend!
    October 8- 212.8 - happy I didn’t gain since I went out and indulged a bit too much but I worked out extra knowing that might happen earlier in the day.
    October 9- 212.6 another great day. Was hoping for more but probably a balance from the previous day.
    October 10- 211.2 had a great day but today is going to be a rest/cheat day since it’s my birthday!
    October 11- 210.8 I walked over 30k steps trying to compensate for my cheat day which seemed to have worked!
