    Hi I’m 53 and 5’6”.
    Starting Weight: 257.8 (1/14/21)

    October Start Weight: 215.9 (9/30/21)
    October Goal Weight: 213.0
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 170

    Oct 2: 215.9
    Oct 9: 214.6 (-1.3)
    Oct 16: 215.7 (+1.1)
    Oct 23: 214.4 (-1.3)
    Oct 30: 215.9 (+1.5)

Well not only did I not meet my monthly goal, but I’m back to where I was at the beginning of the month. Sigh… I was on track to reach Onederland by the end of the year, but this set me back. I know the next 2 months will be harder with the holidays, but I’ll have to be careful. I don’t really need to bake 500 Christmas cookies, right??

@SammiGirl1321 congrats on reaching Onederland! 💥🎉👍💪

@justanotherloser007 welcome to the Shrinking Assets team! I’m not sure why, but I don’t comment much in that group. This group is my favorite. I definitely need these groups to help keep me going. What I need is some kind of exercise challenge as I’ve really noticed a difference when I’m not in one (and not for the better)!

Great progess everyone! As we all know it is so much more than the number on the scale, it is negotiating around everything else in our lives being mindful that food is just food.

We do have control over it,even if we dont always feel that way. It doesnt have to have control over us. And we are so much more than the number we see on the scale. The scale does not measure that you are beautful, loyal, funny, compassionate, gifted and unique.

Total loss for October 5 lbs <3

Happy to see the loss since pressing reset. We are in the thick of it with renos to our kitchen. Will have a working kitchen by mid January :# .Our fault re timing of ordering countertop, but is going to be so lovely.

Hoping to be down to 197 by November 28 that will be my one year anniversary date for starting this journey. If I reach it I will be down a total of 33 lbs, 43lbs off since I was my highest weight a few years ago of 240.

Thank you for your posts , you continue to inspire me everyday! <3

I'm leaving October behind me today and hopefully November will be more successful. I'd been slow but steady losing weight since July, then I just hit a wall. I haven't missed logging my food, but I definitely haven't exercised like during the summer or eaten as healthy. It's so helpful to come on here and read about all of your successes. It's so encouraging to keep going. Wishing everyone great health in November!!!

    5'7"

    9/9/21- 252 (SW & ATH)
    10/1/21- 241
    10/22/21- 235
    10/28/21- 233.3
    10/31/21- 230.2

21.8 pounds lost total. 10.8 pounds lost in October. I did have a few beers last night and that tends to make the scale drop the next day so I'm expecting it to be a little higher tomorrow. Either way, I'm going in the right direction.

SW- 9/14/20-255 lbs-Changed jobs, no longer have a micro manager!
5/3/21-240.5 lbs-Lost without really trying. Emergency Gallbladder surgery this day.
    6/1/21-228.8 lbs
    7/1/21-222.2 lbs
    8/1/21-212 lbs
    9/1/21-200 lbs
    10/1/21-191.4 lbs
10/3/21-189.8 lbs Met a challenge goal for 11/1/21-190 lbs Not slowing down. Maybe I'll get to 180 lbs.
    10/10/21-188.8 lbs
    10/17/21-186.2 lbs
Upped my Elliptical again this week to 140 minutes and today I did 151 minutes! Did the extra 1 minute because I wanted the 12 miles! Down 68.8 lbs! More than halfway of the 133 lbs to lose to get to my goal weight!
UGW-122 lbs, was at that years ago (2009- kept it off for 5 years) after being at 255 lbs before. So I feel I can do it again. Just can't get lazy afterwards like before.

10/24/21-182.6 lbs. Staying on track with Calorie, Net Carb, water and my Elliptical of 150 minutes 3x/week on my off work days. Seem to be continuing about 10 lbs/month loss. Down 72.4 lbs from 9/14/20, down 57.9 lbs since 5/3/21.

    10/27-180.8 lbs
10/28-10/30-182 lbs. Had my usual uptick before a drop.

10/31-181 lbs. Was expecting a drop to 180 or 179.9 lbs today but I'm going to be legalistic and count my calorie/carb management and exercise from today for November 1, AM weigh in. I may make my fourth goal for October challenge. First goal was 190, then 185, then 182.2 then the 180 or 179.9.
So I've lost 74 lbs since 9/14/20! 10.4 lbs this month!

I'll be back for November and let you know if I made the 180 or below tomorrow!
