Did I exercise? Today felt like a great day of exercise! I did a 30 minute Peloton Bike Bootcamp workout which was 17 minutes on the bike and 13 minutes of a full body bodyweight strength routine. I also walked 85 minutes. The weather here was FANTASTIC!
Did I track my calories? Yes, everything
Did I stay within? Yes
To the opening post, I have found exercise is almost making me emotional (in a good way) lately.
The weight I registered on the scale today was officially 100+ pounds lost. Sometimes it feels surreal. My mind hasn't caught up with the changes my body has made. I feel so much stronger - I am finding the inner athlete again.
Exercise has always made me feel better mentally throughout this journey. The benefits can't be argued!11 -
Congratulations @ashleycarole86 !!
That is a major achievement!!
Hang in there. Your body image will shift over your time in maintenance.
What helped me the most was getting tight, but still comfortable clothing. I’ve come to dislike baggy clothes, as they reminded me of trying to “disguise” my weight.
We’re here & many of us have gone through this. I do find exercise helps my body image - I guess another plus for our opening post today!
I also find body image is variable, so do be kind to yourself! You’ve clearly “got this!”
Congratulations again!!

Pass Day 3 used today, stopped tracking at dinnertime. Just got lazy, oops! 🤭😉
For those who aren't able to use their android phones to get onto Community because they get a white screen, have you tried logging in without using the app? That's what I did, I went to www.myfitnesspal.com via Google Chrome and was able to sign in that way. Hopefully they'll get the problem fixed soon, but in the meantime it's a way to be able to use your phone. 😊6 -

Exercise: 55 minutes stretching and PT exercises
Tracking: yes
Calories: over - pass day

The mental boosts of exercise are a big one for me. I feel so dull when I’m sedentary and when exercising regularly I feel on top of the world. I had always prioritised it before but marriage and having a child sidetracked me for a few years.
Being active is part of who I’ve always been so I will not let that happen again!
✅ exercise - ran for 20 minutes. Just realised I ran without stopping… it never crossed my mind to stop. It was only 20 minutes but I hadn’t gone for a run quite some time. I would’ve ran for longer but we had to get ready to go.

Exercise – yes, a 30 minute bike ride this morning and a short walk this afternoon plus a couple of short cardio sessions
Tracked – yes
Calories – yes
I spent too much time on that cross-stitch app again!
However, I did manage 12,000 steps.
I know that getting outside on my bike or walking has helped my mental health immensely these last 2 years – through the Covid lockdowns and of course my son’s illness and the grief of losing him.

I love exercise I've never been successful without exercise.
I've been struggling to update as my app isn't letting me access the community. I used a pass day today (14th) but have had 3 X yes on the other days. I'll try to remember to come via the website in the future.6 -

Exercise: 1 hour of walking while talking on the phone to family, during the nicest part of a cold day.
Tracking: Planned the day, adjusted as I went
Calories: Under
The changes to my life with COVID made me really realize how important exercise is for my mental health. Part of it is that I work in my bedroom now, so some days my daily walk is the only time I leave my house (and other than meals, the only time I leave my bedroom). I am not exercising hard enough to have many of the benefits of the endorphins - one day I would like to have time to exercise like some of you. But the fresh air and time to think or socialize (sometimes I walk with a friend or while talking on the phone, sometimes I just think) is so important to my mental health. I consider the walking non-negotiable - since the beginning of everything closing I have said to myself that even prisoners in solitary confinement get to see the sun once a day. I'm not sure if that's actually true, but for myself I consider it the minimum for humane treatment, and when I don't do it my mental health immediately collapses.4 -
Exercise: 35 minutes on the walking exergame (and mini trampoline)
Logged: absolutely everything
On Target: without the exercise calories eaten
Passes used so far: 1/3 (bad planning)
Even before The World Changed (and the first covid lockdown began) I would use Youtube Treadmill training postings to "quick walk or run" (or stationary "bike") different trails, in different seasons. Some familiar (like the Cornwall coast where we went for vacation in 2019) or some of the streets in London .... some I have never been to and may never get to (The French Mediterranean, The Grand Canyon, parts of New Zealand)
I am not a fan of the cold. But this way I was less "housebound to the same view" when I didn't want to (or couldn't) stick my nose out the door.3 -
@LazyBlondeChef - Happy Anniversary
@ashleycarole86 - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! 🎉🎈🍾
I’m spending some time in a new place. I don’t know anyone. So if I get an invite to lunch or dinner, I go. Before this, I didn’t eat out very much. Now I’m eating out 1-2 meals a day. I’m looking at this month as an adjustment period. I’m hoping the newness will wear off and I will find new routines.
