Can you tell me the name of the "virtual shoreline challenge" arranger / sponsor / company? Do they have other challenges?
I see a site called https://theconqueror.events that has various choices ranging from 21 miles to 2280 miles ....
and some others that seem to be specific lakeshore stretches.

I am 3.5 pounds away from officially being overweight versus obese. My mini goal is to lose 5 pounds so I'm that weight with clothes on.16

Now that I finally know how to walk, I am going to climb the tallest peak in Texas! The Guadalupe. It is only 8.5 miles round trip. I walked 4.5 miles this morning. This will also be the first time I even considered climbing a mountain. Previously I would have thought, "who does this sort of thing? Young kids all into proving stuff and things?" Evidently, also older females who were previously chronically ill, sometimes bedridden and generally sedentary are really excited to get out of the dang sick bed! And randomly rope the husband into agreeing to climb a mountain! I couldn't even ask him outright I kind of slyly over time worked it into conversation and permission. I didn't think I could handle the shock on his face otherwise. But he said we could go, and so now my morning walk is uber motivating!!17

I am between sizes right now. Size 14 is a bit too loose and I can fit in some stretchy size 12 pants but I have some old non-stretchy size 12 Levy's that I can't zip up yet. When I was younger I had wide hips and small waist, but now, the pants fit in the hips but I have too much fat in my belly, ergo, I don't have a small waist anymore.:( So my mini goal is to being able to fit in those Levy's jeans.10

To say Goodbye to the 160s and Hello to the 150s by New Year's Day. I'm at 162.4 today. Almost 3 pounds to go. On the other hand, it would be a nice Christmas gift. At 4ft 11 inches tall, weight loss is very slow going. I'll be happy if I see it by New Year's Day with all the potential eating between now and then.13

I have one more belt notch to go until I need to buy a smaller belt 😁
I bought jeans today without trying them on - they looked tiny!
They fit perfectly 😁10 -

I'm currently the smallest I've ever been in my life. The holidays have always been tough for me so I'm just going to focus on maintaining and getting stronger this month. My goal is to be able to do stand up paddle boarding. Tried awhile back and I wasn't strong enough to get on. I took advantage of some black Friday sales and my sun shirt came in the mail (figure it might be easier to get on if I don't have to worry about a wardrobe malfunction lol). It fits great. I just want it to also fit in April or whenever it gets hotter and I'm ready to attempt SUP again.10

My minigoal is to exercise regularly without hurting myself. The exercise regularly is the easy part. It's the "calm down so you don't hurt yourself" part that is the challenge. Can I make it to the new year without an overuse injury? Let's find out....11

I enjoyed scrolling through a couple of pages here. Really cool to see people hit their goals!
I am 90 days from my 52nd birthday, so I have decided to do a little 90 day challenge for myself.
I would like to drop 8-10 lbs and basically get in the best shape of my adult life.
Not changing much in regards to my routine (at least not the first 30 days). Just a few more steps a day and replacing some processed foods with whole foods.
Good luck to everyone!16 -
Commit to my goals period - Log meals; Maintain withinmy Macros weekly; lose 30lbs; Yoga faithfully; walk 3 miles a day, Kiss my sciatica pain good bye! Not too much I am asking for huh? Live in the moment; we are born happy - happiness is within me.11

Mini-goal for Dec; just restarted with Day 1, and goal is 10 pounds in Dec (so I'll be in losing mode when new year calendar is put up). Easy, because just beginning I always lose quickly and always my biggest motivation and effort and effectiveness then...but Dec. has many pitfalls/hard choices so wish me luck!7

When I start a spinning class, I have to set up the bike with power level and weight. The bikes are set at 165 lbs; I weight 175 and my mini goal is to not to have to change the weight in the bike... until I have to change it down.12

I'd like to weigh 130lbs by April 2022 for my birthday.9

The Mini Goal motivating me right now is a blind date scheduled for 12/21. I gained 20 pounds during COVID-19 and have lost the first five. After a health scare last Sunday, I have eliminated super-sweet foods and drinks from my diet - I had a Little Debbie and Mtn. Dew problem! - and I am now significantly closer to hitting my calorie goal each day. I'm wearing leather leggings on my date, and I look forward to them being a little looser!15
