    Getting excited to join this! I lost a ton of weight around 2015 (70 lbs), but pandemic stress, restrictions, and sadness/anxiety lead to me gaining literally 50 lbs over 2 years. I'm uncomfortable. 2022 is a huge restart for me.

    I'm doing low carb/high protein and am removing processed foods from my plate (literally the only plan that reduces my insatiable appetite, plus it makes me feel better), and 75Hard with no alcohol, working out every day, and lots of water. I flourish under simple, hand-and-fast rules. I know what works, I just need to follow through!

    So here's my start:

    STARTING WEIGHT AND DATE WITH MFP (MY FITNESS PAL):
    • 208 lbs NOW - Fresh start!

    YOUR CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT FOR THIS CHALLENGE:
    • Hoping to get to 200 in the 6 days before the 1st weigh in. I weighted 198 earlier this month (I GAINED 10 lbs in LESS than 1 single month!) so I know a lot of this is water weight and can be dropped quickly.

    YOUR CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: 176 lbs
    • I'm going to lose 2 lbs a week, 8 lbs a month. Jan end goal is 192 lbs, Feb end goal is 184 lbs, March end and ultimate goal for this competition is 176 lbs.

    I got down to 8st 9 last summer but unfortunately slipped up and regained 18 pounds. I’d like to get back under 9st by my birthday in march. :smile:

    202 lbs this morning! I'm going to work hard today to lose 2 more lbs (it's almost all water weight, December was a mess diet-wise for me) so I can start the new year at an even 200. Yesterday I managed to go to an amusement park and NOT consume candy, pizza, etc. and had a blast just walking around and riding rides with my son. I know the key is preparation - I made sure to have plenty of good snacks to curb any cravings for sugar. Any who - good luck everyone and "see" you next year!
