Hello everyone! Iβm happy to be here. Iβve been working on my health since July (this time around) and am down 59 pounds. I lost weight successfully before on MFP but regained most of it. This time around I really need to work on how to maintain once I reach my goal.
I am a 4th grade teacher and live with my very active dog. I am training for a possible half marathon in the spring so I run three times a week.
Iβm looking forward to being a part of this group π
Welcome to the group! I am also focused on maintaining "this time around."" A half marathon is an amazing goal!2 -

Hello NEWBIES!!! WELCOME TO THE WARRIOR TEAM
LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING TO KNOW YOU ALLπ·π·
MY NAME IS TERESA π I'm 59 yrs and I live in Florida. I finally made it to maintenance, it took me almost a year.
This group is awesome & Sally is the BEST!!! I'm always learning new things.
Thank you Mrs. Hoffer for the BOOK INFO "WHOLE" Rethinking the science of nutrition *π€*π·
I'm so happy to see you feeling better, great walk today my friend.3 -
Hi team
I am Josie, 39, and from the UK.
I am currently 244.4lb and looking to get down to 168lb (initially). I am 5 foot 7.
I have always been a classic yo yo dieter and my motivation has always been the way I look, which I don't think has been important enough to me! My new motivation is my health as both of my parents are in their 60's with serious health problems, neither of them being as overweight as me. I am hoping that this will be a stronger motivation than just appearance
I am following the IIFYM (If it fits your macros) diet with a daily calorie allocation of 1991, so not so restrictive that I can't stick to it hopefully! I have found macro counting to be the easiest to maintain in the past, although have also lost a lot of weight previously with Slimming World and numerous other plans!
I live with my partner George, the love of my life, and have two grown up Daughter's, Stephanie and Jasmine.
I also have a small flock of rescue hens and love growing my own vegetables and taking long walks in rural North Wales, where I am lucky enough to live
I am looking forward to getting started!2 -
I thought I could do this weight loss thing by myself, but have failed miserably and in fact gained weight! So, with a New Year on the doorstep, it's time for me to get serious and learn how to do this effectively. Weight Watchers and WATW are my weapons. I have been here before, and loved the experience, so here I am again looking for a place to be accountable. Thank you Sally, and your team for all you do. You truly are Rockstars! Cheers to 2022!

Welcome Josieπ·
Sounds like many of us, the yo yo cycle, all diets seem to work, but what's healthy and sustainable for life?
I'm 5'3" and weighed 221 lbs when I started back one yr ago. 11 yrs ago I was 204 lbs and lost it all on MFP just to gain it all back again and more. This time around I have lost it once again and now realize this is a life journey & staying in maintenance will be MY hardest struggle.
I wish you all the best successπ·
Let's do this ππΌπ₯π·ππΌββοΈπ€Ί3 -

πI have the links ready! There are 15 workouts on each playlist. You can do them in order, 1 per day(5 workouts per week), with 2 rest days or just pick and choose as you go. Shorter workouts can be combined with yoga. Remember to have fun!
πI recommend not doing consecutive step workouts or strength training if choosing your own order.
