    Yeah. I know.

I made buttermilk cornbread sticks yesterday for New Years. Fortunately I gave some to each of a few neighbors and took some to the tavern to give out because otherwise I would have eaten them all. The other day I took a Jeroboam sized bottle of a German beer down to share. A friend brought it back and kept it a few years then gave it to me last year. I've been storing it looking for a good reason to open it. We weren't able to drink all three liters, so I brought the rest home. I am giving in to temptation and will make a loaf of beer bread!

Pretty sure none of these are vegan....

Don't click if you don't want to see.

Then again, that ice cream wasn't vegan either. Or the tacos. But these are for SURE not going to make a vegan drool.

Usually.... almost always.... I prefer savory to sweet. Cakes and cookies aren't nearly as tempting as a vindaloo. But for some reason today I could totally dig into a tray (not a piece, a tray) of baklava. Or some really good macarons. Not macaroons. Macarons.

Actually I could totally go for a huge plate of halva. That's vegan, and it's delicious.
