Reducing insulin dose

Good morning and Happy New Year,
Before Christmas, my doctor lowered my insulin dose from 1:15 ratio to 1:20 ratio.
Of course, my finger tests where a little higher, not by much, but there you go.
So, my question to you all, how long do you think it would take for your body to adjust to the new dosage?

It was probably a month or so for me, when I went off metformin before they settled down and got stable. I am not sure about insulin, but there has to be some period of adjustment.1
