    I started the last challenge at 153.0 on 9/25/21 with a goal of 140.0 by 12/31/21. I reached my goal 3 weeks early but then regained over Christmas. I'm hoping that the first 5lbs come back off relatively easily and anticipate a slow down from February onwards. 142.8 puts me at a healthy bmi for my 5'4 height so losing after that becomes a lot more difficult. I really want to start some sort of regular exercise this month, need to find something enjoyable that doesn't take up too much time but is effective. I'm thinking of doing the couch to 5k challenge so need to get some kit to run in.

    January 3: 144.6 (trend 144.5) Gained 4lbs over 2 weeks of Christmas so should take 3 weeks to get back to 140.6

    January 10: (target 143.0) 140.6 (trend 142.5) Well that was a nice quick drop! It's a relief to know I can take a few weeks off and not do too much damage. Just need to keep an eye on that trend weight, needs to be a couple of lbs lower to match mid December average.

    January 17: (target 141.5) 141.6 (trend 141.4) Has anyone seen my mojo? It's gone AWOL. At least I'm on track ish.

    January 24: (target 140.0) 141.0 (trend 140.9)

    January 31: (target 138.5) 141.4 (trend 140.1) I always seem to be up on a Monday but at least my trend weight is going in the right direction

    Hi, I am in for another cycle. Thanks for starting this again.

    STARTING WEIGHT/DATE WITH MFP: about 175 on 8/19/12 (been here a long time, lol, but kinda off & on)
    Lost about 25 pounds, then pretty much maintaining, up a little, down a little, but would like to lose another 15 or so.

    Challenge starting weight: 154.2 (this is a little inflated because of Christmas, etc.)
    I weigh every day & average them on Monday, so my numbers are the weekly average.
    My goal for this cycle will be 145#
    Oct. average weight= 152.01
    Nov. average weight= 151.28
    Dec. average weight= 150.53
    Jan. 2022 average weight= 150.86

    Starting weight = 154.2
    1-3-22= 153
    1-10= 150.86
    1-17= 151.17
    1-24= 149.54
    1-31= 149.71

    Jan 01…… 191.0…..(Trend Weight: 191.5)….. Happy New Year everyone. I’ve been slipping, sliding and teetering back and forth since October (just prior to needing cancer-scare breast surgery). I’m ready to stop eating all my emotions and grief and get back on track to the business of health and well-being. I am glad to have ended 2021 over 15 pounds lighter. I am sad that I lost some ground during the last quarter of the year. Recommitting today! Let’s have some fun and do this together, my friends!

    Jan 11…… 192.6…..(Trend Weight: 192.2)….. Same base weight but different trend weight. The formula has very little faith in me! Too many ups & downs. That needs to change!

    Jan 18…… 193.8…..(Trend Weight: 193.0)….. I’m not doing so well during this part of the journey. So many renovations in my kitchen and livingroom are finding me grazing too much although my meal selections are good. No normal exercise either. But the rooms will look nice when completed!

    Jan 25…… 194.4…..(Trend Weight: 193.6)….. Trapped in my house in extreme limited space during renovations to kitchen, dining room and livingroom. No space or privacy for exercise with the crew here. However, I am trying to use the steps in my house as a way to get in a little movement. Meals are okay, not perfect. I am hoping only about one more week of this area of the house being worked on. Clearly I will end up with a higher weight that my start weight for January, even if I have a great week. That is disappointing, but the renovation will look good, even if my hips don’t!
