So, today I went shopping because my size 8 jeans (which is a miracle in itself) have been bagging off me. I tried on a size 4 just for fun in the jeans i usually buy...much to my surprise they fit!!!!! They were a tad snug...but they looked good for sure!!
I started MFP in May at 168lb and a size 12. I am now down to 145 and apparently a size 4. I am absolutely shocked with my results.
However, the weight and the size difference are not even the best part. In May I found out I had extremely high cholesterol. I really started to look at what I was eating and what I could be eating. Thanks to all the support on MFP, I dropped my LDL (bad cholesterol) by 90 points...I do not know much about cholesterol levels, but my doctor couldn't believe that I was able to drop it that much in just 2 1/2 months.
I feel amazing, my self confidence is the highest it's ever been, I feel healthy, I am eating so much better, I am losing weight and my life has truly changed forever. I will never go back to what it was nor do I want to. People ask me when I am going to stop "dieting"...but I always tell them I am not "dieting" I am simply living healthy. It is truly a great feeling and I could not have done it without MFP.
(PS: my profile picture is a picture taken of me when I was about 180 (highest weight in pink shirt) in July of 2006. The purple shirt is of me a month ago at about 150)

Awesome! Great job on the cholesterol! I'm working on lowering mine too. Cutting out fast food and vending machine treats will hopefully help lower mine, in addition to overall healthy eating and exercising.0
