The hip seems fine. Sassy and I did a brisk 5 miles, yesterday, with no problems.
Glad the scale is behaving, Skip. "It's a dark cloud ..."
Looking at doggy boarding facilities, today. Looking ahead to vacation plans in May. Also trying to get started on payouts from government thrift savings plan and my IRA. Choir practice, tonight. That's my day.0 -

Visited Ron’s dad yesterday afternoon. Ron played tech support. Then margaritas out with our friends.
Today a long bike ride and need to pack for our weekend sit. Will have to leave no later than 6:30 am. We are coming back here so will only need overnight bags and some food. Not sure if we will take the bikes or not.

Had breakfast with Emmaus group this morning
Yesterday ended up riding TOAD up to Pendergrass, put about 135 miles on trike; went to see older brother who has breast cancer and had lymph nodes removed last week, breast was removed about 7 years ago but refused to take radiation and chemo.
Next Monday Harley dealer will pickup TOAD for service and return Wednesday afternoon.
DW is meeting DSonIL today and getting DMIL, DN would not let DMIL come to her house and DD has had DMIL 10 days and can't take much more.
Was very foggy earlier, burned off now, should be upper 70's today
Congrats on being a looser Skip, hope election brings HOA some folks that understand business and you win position you want.
Gas prices have gone nuts here, guess its the price we pay for not using our on resources and having to seek oil from world market.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- I started the day off with a trip to my Urologist. Fortunately, everything is good.
- Our motorbike ride yesterday got messed up with the threat of lunchtime showers. Did get a short ride in with a new neighbor with a Can-Am. Think a trike in reverse. Two front wheels and one rear.
- Skip, I was surprised by your HOA budget, but you have considerably more homes than we do. Our dues are actually higher than yours but ours include lawn care on all homesites. I don't believe yours does. FYI, I was actually able to find your 2022 budget on-line. Very nicely done and annotated btw.
- Glad you got to see your brother Sam. We'll try again for a ride.
- Glad you are doing well Dave. I'm sure Sassy is glad too.
- Hey Steph. I'm snickering about Ron playing IT support. Hopefully it wasn't too frustrating. At least he got rewarded with Margaritas.

Good morning
The snow that was suppose to start early evening into Fri. decided to start this morning. I need to head to office around noon, for a table desk pickup. and to dismount the 4 Spectrum internet boxes from wall board and return them.. I'm giving away table on marketplace for free. They best show up ...so i hope it clears up. The older I get, less I want to be driving in snow.
Was watching extreme rv last night, I now want a new trailer, 5th wheel . Lol. Better yet, let's build our new lake home. Come on lotto pay Big! Ha. I need to play to win. Right?
North TX had another ice storm so schools closed today. No work for ds1 and he needs a day off! I need a in person face to face with him its been too long.

Just in from dog training. Have a two day trial this weekend.
10 inches of snow coming over night. Will have to clean up for DW before heading out for trial.

Good evening, folks.
I have secured another AirBNB starting on Saturday to give us time to move our loads of stuff.
The problem was that he didn't turn off the instant book feature like he was supposed to. With that turned off, he'd get a request to book and would have checked in with me first about extending. Without it, someone just booked themselves a month starting on March 1st forcing us to uproot again.
The new place is in the Domain because G-d has a sense of humor. It's a mixed use retail/apartment development about 4 miles from us. Not far enough, IMO. So, thoughts and prayers for my checkbook are appreciated.0
