@bearchested It's great that you are able to focus on the non scale victories! Definitely helps stay motivated when the scale doesn't move.

This past week has been the worst, in terms of me eating properly and journaling. I’ve just been totally MIA this week. There’s been some stuff going on, but I’ve got to refocus and put myself first. Spring is coming and that always seems like a good time to reset for me. The Girl Scout cookies will be gone, and salads will be more appealing. I’ve been in a lunch rut, so I need to come up with some inspiring ideas.

I love making Yogurt parfaits or banana splits but instead of ice cream, I use yogurt and remove the chocolate syrup.
For the parfaits I use granola, yogurt, berries, and a nutty flax seed.
I also cut bananas in half, long ways, pat dry and spread peanut butter on them then add chopped nuts & raisins to it.

My favorite salad is with romaine lettuce, hard boiled eggs, grilled chicken, cucumbers, shredded carrots, parmesan cheese, sliced almonds and green pepper.

My cycle says, "hold the line!!" So I guess even with water weight I am exactly the same weight. Wow, I wonder what it will look like when it is over. I usually gain 4-6 lbs of water lols. Maybe my water sodium levels are off?

    ~ Friday / 04 March ~
    Steps: 13.523
    Protein: 28
    Exercise: gym (upper body weights)
    Calories in / out = net: 1313 / 761 = 552
Good morning Shape Shifters. I had my new gym schedule explained on Friday. It was about as brutal as I expected, but I did enjoy the work out. I was ready for something new. I was afraid my arms would feel like wet noodles now, but the muscle pain isn't too bad thankfully. I didn't eat enough and my protein was really bad. But I rather eat too little than too much after my 2 month 'all you can eat' party. My headache was pretty bad and I ended up taking 3 pills spread out over the day. Sadly they didn't help much, so I just gave up and went to bed at 19:30. Feeling a bit better this morning, let's hope it lasts.
    Happy Saturday everyone <3

It's not much, but this week has been good overall. Getting into healthy habits again. It's not surprising it takes some time to work out all the kinks again after 8 weeks of eating whatever, whenever, and as much as I wanted.
