❎❎❎
So many reasons
Only slept a few hours
Tinnitus & muscle soreness &
Fatigue
Way over-busy with a new time-consuming volunteer job
I eat more with any one of these, but all 4…
Doctors Might be close to figuring it out
But I promised myself I’d never give up & one of The goos Things about maintaining
Years is I notice the extra we
Round my body & I know I’m eating when not actually Hungry (in a misguided attempt to get more energy or sooth the sore muscles)
So, I’m going to Stay Under the calorie number I set for the next 3 days & try ice or heating pads or the Hypervolt … maybe some Stretches.
I will eat lots of Vegetables & water as I do my 3-day reset. Go back to very low salt.
Remind myself That I’m only up 1-2 lbs & much of that will drop off quickly.

@MadisonMolly2017 Sounds like you're in a busy season of life..thanks for sharing how you manage things. I am very shortly switching to maintenance myself and I'm having all sorts of feelings about it! Love learning and reading from those that are in it.1

@ashleycarole86
I read an on-line book or article that was recommended on MFP about maintenance that many folks thought was too strict/draconian, but I took It to heart because I’ve seen the statistics on successful Maintainers. (Sadly, I have not been able to locate it again.)
The points I remember & my take on them now 3 years 8 months maintaining.
1. We get very few additional calories (if like me you are losing slowly by the end & you don’t change exercise) in Maintenance than when you were losing.
True
2. America is toxic food environment.
We must fight against that & be vigilant.
