Would like to lose another 5-7lbs before a reunion May 20-21. Only 2lbs until I hit the 160's but would like to be comfortably in the mid 160's (well tbh wish I could be at goal, lol but that's still a bit far off).
Goal met, next mini goal is to maintain over the reunion weekend.10 -
I just reached my original goal weight of 145lbs. (BMI: 22.7) from 173 (BMI: 27.1). It took about 9.5 months. Yay!
Now that I'm here, I'm happy with my results, but would like to lose just a bit more around the middle and have a little bit more wiggle room for maintenance. In other words, if I go on vacation, eat "all da foods" and gain 5 pounds, I'll still be in a healthy weight range. The current plan is to keep going with the current eating plan to 140 (BMI: 21.9) and see what that look and feels like. That will put me right in the middle of the healthy BMI range.13 -
I just want to feel like I'm in control again. I have gone four days without going over my calorie limit and I feel in control for now. I hope I can keep it up, but I don't know if I can15

Before a week long series of family visits, I want to lose one more pound to get down to the lower part of my maintenance range. That'll give me a little more cushion for eating all the family foods I don't get at home. It won't be the end of the world either way. If I gain, I know how to lose it. But, if I eat at a deficit for the next week or so, I'll go into the family gatherings in a stronger position to stay within my maintenance range.10

I love the mini-goals that are not weight related. Keep it up9 -
I wanted to lose 3kgs this month. Since this month is now half over I really need to get my butt into gear!6

I need to cut back on dinner portions so there are only enough leftovers for hubby's lunch.
This will open my lunch for fabulous salads...12 -
To get into the 150's, just over a pound to go.9

Dropping an obesity category. I didn't even know these existed until I came here but they seem like nice achievable goals, better than the midway point I arbitrarily set myself as a goal when I first joined. It's at 122 point something kg so I put it at 121,9kg because I can actually remember that and it's only 3,1kg away. Compared to the 13 I already lost, that seems very doable.
I don't actually remember the ones after this but I guess that's a good moment to re-evaluate my numbers once again.8 -
First ten lbs down!12

You've got this!!3

lol... Well, that mini-goal didn't last long! I went about 2 weeks and decided I just needed a break from losing weight. I'm in a healthy BMI range, so I'm going to relax** for now. I increased my calories for maintenance and have been holding steady for about a month now at ~144. Instead, I'm just focusing on fitness. I'm trying to be more consistent with longer elliptical sessions (or walks/hikes), and include at least one day with intervals to try to increase my pace. I'm not super hard-core about it, but I just want to see where I can go with speed. I'm also doing some easy-ish weight training for muscle definition and strength. Again, just to see where this road takes me.
** To be clear, "relax" in my world just means I'm not trying to lose weight. I still weigh & log all my food. I still weigh myself every day. I just get to eat a little bit more now. And, with summer BBQs, pool parties, and frozen treats, I'd rather enjoy myself as I am now than worry about "not losing".12 -
I have two pairs of NWT jeans left in my closet to fit into that I purchased on sale a couple years ago when I was feeling hopeful.
One is a 16 skinny jeans and the other is a 14 skinny Jean. Not curvy cut or stretchy fabric just unforgiving tapered jeans. The 16s fastened up this morning but too unflattering to wear out so I need to lose a couple more pounds for them to fit properly.
The NSV here is a couple weeks ago they didn’t zip at all and… guys… there was a time I literally just bought the biggest size they had at Walmart and hoped I could get them on. That’s my mini-goal right now. Wear those jeans comfortably and I’m super close! 😀17
