5/12: 121.4 Pleasantly content with this number, especially with it being 4ish days pre-TOM. Life has been busy the past week or so and I just needed a break from everything including posting. I’ve been able to exercise each day this week but still taking it easy. I was able to do my strength workouts on Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday I went for a short walk in the morning because I slept terrible and this morning I went for a 3 mile very slow run outside. I noticed my heart rate tends to jump up quickly, so I’m trying not to stress it too much post covid. I know it’s probably because I haven’t done a ton cardio for a few weeks but I’m just going to build it back slowly. The run felt good, and I wasn’t too tired afterwards either. It was so nice to be exercising outside and not freezing because the warmer temps are finally starting to show up again in New England.
5/13: 121.2 Lifted this morning and went up on a couple of the lifts, so that was exciting. Feeling great today after a pretty good night of sleep and looking forward to surprising my cousin at the hair salon when she is getting her hair done for her prom tonight. Then after work today I’m meeting coworkers for early dinner/drinks and I can’t wait!

    5/14: Did not post.
5/15: Did not weigh. It’s been a busyish weekend. I went to the gym today and did a half hour on the elliptical and stretched for a while afterward. Then, I hit the sauna for 10 minutes after to top everything off. The dinner/drinks with my coworkers was super fun but I realized that even one Aperol Spritz finished by 6 PM still messed with my sleep like crazy. So, I guess it will be fancy mocktails instead the next time I go out with them. I plan on lifting tomorrow morning and hopefully squeezing in some sort of a walk during my work day.

We ALL have good rounds and bad but that is part of life. Don’t stay away, stay accountable. We don’t judge, we support.-Jpv,2/13/19

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.

People say keto/LCHF isn’t sustainable. I’ve been doing it for almost 5 years with amazing results!

This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

Up and down - just riding the waves of life. 🌊 🏄‍♀️ (My new mantra-3/19/22)

5/8 119.0 GKI 14.0 Two nights of great sleep. OMAD yesterday was a keto chicken popper casserole. Then Bloody Maria = tomato juice = carbs and popcorn! AND NO TMI x2 Drinking Miralax
5/9 119.5 GKI 7.0 Mother’s Day at Great Greek with DD#2 and family. She and I split a bottle of Chardonnay and had large Greek salads. Waiting for TMI 😁
5/10 118.0 GKI 13.0 OMAD was chicken popper casserole from Saturday, ate 1 portion of Quest protein chips as snack. Popper casserole recipe needs to be studied since it seems it has shot my GKI up both times I ate it. Going to a baseball game tonight.
5/11 118.5 GKI 12.7 Apparently even Mama Lola’s 1 carb yellow corn tortillas cause a reaction. OMAD 3 tacos at 2:30, noting at the ball game and walked more than double the usual steps. Ballgame was pathetic. My granddaughters could have played better.
5/12 120.5 GKI 12.9 Celebration of life last evening at her favorite area steakhouse. Apps were not low carb.

I have about 2726 kg to lose. I use measurements (cm) because they aren't affected by salt intake. My weight has been dropping for 2 months now. Apparently I've been trying to lose weight since September 2012, the last time I was at goal weight. Let's see if stopping eating sugary food is going to change things.

    Heaviest ever 1 Jan 2021, goal+31 kg

    Round 181 86.5 down to 86.1 cm
    Round 182 86.0 down to 85.7 cm

    Round 184 85.3 down to 84.7 cm
    Round 185 84.7 down to 84.3 cm

bolded numbers means dropped by 0.5 cm
plugging these numbers into my spreadsheet I get a trendline of 84.5 down to 83.8 cm

How this round went: my eating was better than previous rounds but I'm still eating more than I could be. I only did two runs (1 and 2 minutes), and only one day without sugar. I lost another kilogram, making 5 kg so far. So things are going well, but it's far too slow. At the current rate it's going to take about 24 months. I'd like to halve that.
